"Great place to navigate by boat and have one of best BBQ meals in the area. Nested in a great wooded park right on the ICW this local restaurant is perfect for a great lunch spot or just relaxing. BBQ is great. Service is quick and reliable serving a variety of different kinds of food and meals. You will not be disappointed. Give it a try."
"My first time here for a quick lunch on a gorgeous day! The service was quick and the waiter was nice which was great. This is a laid back restaurant with plenty of seating. The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back again!! App, entree and a beer for $35? Yep I'll take it haha Please stop by GangNam Korean Restaurant...you will not be disappointed!!"

"The menu has a recently changed at Beque Holic. My initial impression sitting down was " oh great! The quality has dropped or the prices have increased." But I am happy to say either was the was case. I get the impression that they limited the menu to save on cost. The quality was just as good or potentially better than past visits. The only sad part about is the friend maki/sushi rolls and fried chicken is gone :( ! However there are new cuts of beef and other stuff. You can always get the fried chicken at their sister restaurant poche across town."
"This was our first visit and we had a great time. The staff was delightful and pleasant and helpful I can't say that I'm an expert but I do know I'll go back and try more things. 10/10"
"Absolutely the best BBQ in the Palm Coast Ormond area. Great food, excellent quality meats, staff was super nice. Prices are excellent for what you get. And definitely try the deserts!! Only drawback was old post of menu so added an updated one"
"4.25 Really good food and service. Seated right away on a Thursday night around 6:45.Daughter had the shrimp app as her meal (super good) and a side of macaroni and cheese.I had the Mojo Salad with brisket- only a couple pieces of fat which is to be expected. Otherwise lean and flavorful. Cucumbers, tomatoes- both crisp and fresh. Yummy jalapeño cornbread croutons. Huge salad- became two meals.Missed happy hour, but they offer a great one with beer and mixed drinks, plus some seasonal drinks."
"Food is excellent. Great portions given. My only complaint is service could use a bit more love for the job."
"My husband and I loved this place! We had crab legs and shrimp. Every crab leg had plenty of meat and the meat came out so easily. It tasted amazing! Jessica our server was so friendly and she really made us feel welcome and our business was appreciated. Everything was clean and well kept. We highly recommend this place. We will be back!"
"Stopped here on the way back from Fort Matanzas. We'd seen it on the way there in the morning and the smoky aroma was tempting. We got brisket and turkey sandwiches for lunch and they were excellent!! Brisket had just the right balance of fattiness and savory outer bits. Turkey was juicy and full of flavor. Definitely will be coming back here. Oh and service was great. Staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to. All around good experience."
"I recently spend two weeks in South Korea so I have very specific flavors I'm craving. This is My fav Korean restaurant in town. 6 banchan options and generous portions!I've been going here before they offered AYCE and loved the food. In the past week I have returned for AYCE BBQ two times. I've learned if you are party of two for AYCE ask for half portions because they are huge. Everything is super delicious. The bulgogi is not too sweet and it's tender. The port belly is generous in size and amazing with raw garlic. My family loves kimchi and they keep it coming. The radish banchan is so good. I also love fish cake and it is served with banchan. You can get lettuce leaves for wrapping too. The tteoboki is also available with the AYCE and lots of soups, chicken, japchae...it's so good!I'll be back for more rounds! Also, I'm also thanked in Korean by the chef that is slicing the meat. Kamsahamida!!"
"Been driving by for awhile now and finally decided to stop by. We were sat quickly and our server Asia came soon after seating to take drink orders. She was very helpful when asking questions about items on the menu. My daughter got the pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend aand I shared the Texas trinity platter. Delicious all the way around. If he was hotter we would have sat outside but the inside dinner area was nice as well. My daughter loved the hair spray and sewing kit in the ladies room lol."
"DUMB DELICIOUS!!! Our first time here and wow! Everything was exceptional. We got the brisket half lean/half fatty, jerk chicken and ribs...sides were cilantro coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad and collards greens. All of the meat was delicious so we can't pick a favorite...our favorite side was the potato salad but they were all good...garlic bread was yummy too! We are Woodpeckers BBQ junkies but this place just took FIRST PLACE!!! You gotta try it! Hands down THE BEST BBQ!!! If that wasn't enough to convince you to come try it, the service was so excellent and they even brought us a sample of their popular brisket burnt ends...omg slap your mom sensational!!! A+++"

Amazing BBQ joint tucked away in the trees right on the water. This place is really a local gem that gives off an aura of tranquility. Loved getting food here. You can pull up your boat or jet ski and grab some food. They have a really cool assortment of local beers and a lot of options on the menu for foodPulled pork and turkey club were really good.

Korean dish is one of my favorites. This is the second time I've been to this place and I can say that I had great experience for both visit. I loved all the food we ordered. My favorite were the seafood and tofu soup, beef bulgogi and spicy chicken bulgogi. I also loved the different banchans they served. Everything was well seasoned. You can order banchans as many as you can.I also loved the location because it's right next to a Korean grocery store in Beach Blvd. The service was quick too even thou we had big group.I will add this place to my list of my favorite Korean Restaurants in Jax and recommend the place to friends and family

You must come hungry!!! We took my mother and father-in-law out for their anniversary for some Korean barbecue. And this place was the perfect spot for a special occasion. They loved it. From the food to the quick service and friendly faces, it's such a great spot.If you're looking for just a date night with you and your spouse, they have smaller tables with a grill for you to do the cooking on. They also have two options of pricing for different cuts of meat. But I feel like for each when you get a lot of good stuff. And it is all you can eat. My favorite thing to order is the creamy Bulgogi and their kimchi is amazing. The kimchi has like such a yummy garlic flavor and I haven't found one in stores that I like just as much as that one. Also on the sides, order the Korean fried chicken and the chicken Katsu, those are my husband's favorites. This is such a great experience and everyone should try it at least once!

I went with three other ladies from work, for dinner. None of us were familiar with the menu and our waitress was super helpful. We all got different things, and we're delighted with every dish.

Oh wow! We saw their sign on the road going from Orlando to Jacksonville Beach. We said why not stop for something different. They did not disappoint! The barbecue and sides were so awesome, we forgot to take pictures but here is the aftermath ! What was even better is their sauces. Would definitely return.

The whiskey selection is so impressive, it can be overwhelming at first glance, and they have a good selection of barrel picks to choose from. The food is also outstanding, whether you're in the mood for traditional BBQ, smoked wings, or catfish. There's usually a seat available at the bar on Saturday nights, which is perfect for me.

The food was so good! The baby back ribs and pork ribs are so juicy and flavorful. The collard greens very very good. The baked beans were a great touch to every meal we had. Not a fan of the potato salad it was sour. I did not care for the Mac and cheese either, I expected it to be baked...it was not. The Texas toast was great it came with both of our meals. Wish they had cocktails but I was fine with my Twisted Tea. They have BBQ sauces on the table which I am a huge fan of.... Smoked was the best in our opinion. We will be back.

"The wings were great...seasoned and juicy. The rest of the meat was served dry and not very good. It's probably because it was past lunch and kind of early for dinner when I ordered. The result...disappointing. The sides did not disappoint...the onion rings seemed as though they were cooked to order and the coleslaw was fresh. The French fries were hot and the baked beans tasty."
"Was staying for the weekend (6/14/24-6/16/24) at Hampton Inn District Harbor for my 2nd wedding anniversary. My husband and I wanted to try this sandwich spot and so glad we did. Our food was made fresh and service was great. We sat outside in their peaceful deck area soaking in the sun and scenery."
"Excellent food. First time here.Had rib sandwich which is 4 ribs on the bone with 2 pieces of bread. It is billed as a sandwich so of course you have put the bread aside. The ribs were good. The cole slaw and onion rings were excellent. Ready to go back and try other menu items."
"There was a lady playing with an electric cello that was delightful. The prime rib and the ribs were tender and well seasoned. Prices were very reasonable."
"The food here is consistent and always fairly decent. I think the prices aren't bad either. The service was friendly and attentive when we visited last and we were seated promptly, despite it being lunchtime on Saturday. The booths aren't the most comfortable, but they're not bad for two people. We enjoyed our pulled pork and smoked chicken with various sides. The cheese grits were pretty tasty and I'd recommend them over the coleslaw I picked as a side dish. I think using new "real" plates (rather than the old blue melamine ones they've got) would go a long way towards improving my impression of this place. It's clear that it's in need of something new or fresh on the inside. That being said, I've never had an issues with the quality or taste of the food."
"We made a stop here during memorial weekend before we started our drive back up to atlanta. Super surprised and glad that they were opened on Monday Memorial Day. We visited our friends who lives down in Jacksonville and we were looking for authentic Filipino food. Found this mom and pop place right by the beach. We did a family style and ordered some a bunch of different kinds of skewers to try and garlic rice to share. The skewers were really good and had a sweetness to it from the sauce. It paired perfectly with the garlic rice. We also ordered Pancit to try and that was probably the best Pancit I've ever had. It was so flavorful and herby. We also got some fried pork lumpia and beef empanadas. I've never had Filipino empanada before and wow they were so good! For all four of us we got 15 skewers, 1 order of pancit, 1 order of 3 empanadas, 2 orders of 10 pork lumpia, and 4 garlic rice each and all of that came up to be about only $45. It was so filling but we had to make room for dessert so we tried their Turo which is like fried sweet banana spring rolls. I loved it so much I had to order some food to bring on the drive back home. We got some more Lumpia, Empanadas, and Pancit to go. Even after the next day the food was so so good. I can't wait to drive back to Jacksonville to get some more of their food. They have some outdoor seatings and I love that it was right next to the beach."
"This place is amazing! Third time eating here in a week. The chicken is so so good! The service is great. I will be coming back everytime I am in town."
"My first reaction was a one star. The guy who took my order was on the phone and wanted me to order while he was on the personal call. He didn't have the menu on the tv or out on paper so I had to ask for the menu then he turned on the tv. I just felt like I was a bother. Then I sat down to wait on my food and all the tables were dirty as well as the floor. But the saving grace was the food. The macaroni Salad is the absolute best. The spam was perfect."
"OMG what a hidden gem. My friend and I had to go after reading the reviews to check this place out ourselves. The fried corn nuggets were amazing, sweet and fresh. Definitely get it. My friend had a special dish - Pulled pork nachos. He finished the whole dish. He said it was flavorful and filling. I had the beef brisket sandwich with fries. The fries were well seasoned and fresh. The brisket was definitely moist. The sweet BBQ sauce was really good. I can't say the brisket was the best I have had - I am from Texas, it was really good. If I'm back in the area, I would definitely go back!!"
"I've been to the Red Gill two years in a row for their Galentines event. This year's registration fee was $20. This included a welcome cocktail, apps buffet and take home gifts. The DJ set the tone by playing a fabulous list of ladies anthems. I enjoyed the buffet which included several delicious cheeses, meats, the best meatballs I've ever tasted, olives, several types of desserts, other sweet treats and more. The Valentine's decorations were fabulous and my friends and I enjoyed the photo booth. There were several vendors on site selling baked goods, makeup, jewelry, etc. There was a drawing and I won a bottle of wine as did a few others at my table. And my take-home gifts included sweet treats, eye and face masks, lip gloss, a small bottle of bubbly and a rose. So thoughtful!I hope this continues as an annual event as I plan to go every year!"
"Great little diner, I sat at the counter and thoroughly enjoyed a chicken fried steak, limas, and fried okra. I will certainly be back."
"Placed a large order for breakfast biscuits. The order was ready when I arrived and the service at the register was so helpful. Had an assortment of egg, sausage and cheese biscuits, egg, bacon, and cheese biscuits, and egg and cheese biscuits. They were delicious. I'm headed back there soon just for my wife and me."
"Go here...amazing BBQ location and although it's a chain, this location has been here for a long time. The employees are also long standing employees. The food is delicious and packed well for take out or delivery."
"So I meet up with some friends here and was excited to try Fred's for the first time. It smells so great inside and the server was delightful, so helpful. I ordered a family deal to take and share at home. As I started in I was happy at the portions I received of each meat and the 3 sides. The green beans were as huge in size as in taste. Coleslaw was tasty and than I started on the potato salad with a few bites..it so good I came back for more and than a third trip to the refer to find my husband finished the rest off and I was not happy to see it gone...Finished..nomore!That was the best potato salad I've had in years! So good I will be checking back here soon to get more.I forsure enjoyed Freds and see many more orders from me in their future!"
"Last night was my first time at Cross Creek. Went for a birthday celebration and they were easily able to accommodate a party of 20 with a reservation which was nice! I ordered the country fried steak which came with 2 sides- I got mashed potatoes with brown gravy (brown gravy on my steak too) and country green beans. Overall everything tasted great! Potatoes were yummy, gravy didn't necessarily taste homemade but it was still good and they didn't skimp on the gravy! The country fried steak had good flavor but wasn't as crispy as I wouldn't liked. The breading was falling off which is kind of the whole point of the dish. The steak itself was a little thicker than I like for my CFS which made it harder to cut and more tough. Overall it was still good and I enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow but that's to be expected with such a large party. I don't mind waiting for our food when we have a group that big. My only complaint is that half the table had their entrees while the other half were just getting their salads to start. Some of us had to wait quite awhile for our drinks and refills. There were two servers working our party and I know they were running around a lot so I do appreciate their hard work. They have 2-4-1 drinks all day everyday!"
"Oh my goodness yes! I came here earlier today for lunch with clients and I had one of the best BBQ meals I've ever had!First off, the small when you walk in is like heaven. It gears you up for what's to come. And what's to come? DELICIOUSNESS! I had the pulled pork sandwich special which is so simple and so perfect in every way. Beautifully smoked, chopped up nuggets of porky goodness served on a couple of slices of toasted white bread. Add a little of the sauce of your choice and you are in for a treat! The fries were perfect too. Crinkle cut fries are the undisputed king of fries along with shoestrings for me. These were crisp and still fluffy inside just like they are supposed to be. I am so happy that I've been here because I'm definitely taking my wife one day soon. Awesome!"
"Great "Game Day" spot- Many tvs throughout. Spacious- Ideal for large parties. Kid friendly- Kid menu, play area, arcade and claw machine. Activities- Billiards, darts, foosball. Food- Came out in a timely manner. Nice sized portions. Try the Steak Frites and bread pudding. Drinks- We were loving the servers coming around with the shots. Staff- Everyone was on point and nice. Much appreciated!Jags ended up winning so must be a lucky spot!"
"Monroe's Smokehouse on the Westside is finger licking good!If I were a betting lady, I would bet this is, by far, the best place In town!I used to live on the Southside by the other location, and have been there a few times, but this one is top notch!Funny side note....I first initially went to Monroe's because I thought the sign said Monroe's Steakhouse....glad I stayed!Restaurant is clean, big, and has several tables to meet the need of the customers. Staff is friendly and accommodating...and food is fresh and hot!Parking.....eeeekkkkk they are so good, parking can be a problem. But give it a second and you will find a park. As we entered, we jumped in line and started the process of ordering. We went on a Friday...so you know we had to get the smoked meatloaf. But we also got the Burnt ends platter with 2 sides. Make sure you look on the specials board....they don't list everything in the menu. The meatloaf was the Friday special, and it did not disappoint! It was smoked perfectly with a nice crust and smoky flavor! The burnt ends were crunchy with the perfect amount of tenderness in the middle!Hours are limited and closed on Sundays....so get there when you can.Fridays are open late! Can't wait to go again!"
"In full transparency, I'm vegetarian so my rating does not reflect their mostly meat menu. However, I did taste their hottest BBQ sauce and it was pretty dang good (I'd score that a 5). I'm sure if you put that on anything, it will taste good! I also had their corn nuggets, which were cold, even having them as soon as we got our order. I thought it was a very small serving size for the price. Back to my 3-star rating. There were a number of things that definitely need attention as a food service establishment. First thing you notice when you walk in is the door. It seems like it has shifted so it hits the tile floor and opens only about a third of the way. (Not accessible and not very welcoming at all as it makes a loud scraping sound). The other door entrance/exit door is locked shut for some reason. The outdoor patio is great since there's limited seating inside, but there were dead cockroaches out there that should have been taken care of prior to opening (we went here soon after their opening time on a Saturday morning). The menu seems very simple as it's all listed by item on a board by the cashier. For a newcomer, however, it was a bit hard to decide without photos or descriptions. I looked to yelp for help on this. I know this is a Jax original and a go-to for many folks for decades so I'm sure the simple pleasantries are unimportant to some, but definitely very notable for new visitors. Bottom line: their sauces are worth trying if you haven't!"
"There's a reason why Bono's has been around since 1949. As soon as you enter one of its many locations you're hit with a smoky aroma of meats prepped by the pit master. I ordered a small pulled pork platter for $9.99 and the portion was so generous! It came with two sides (I got green beans and sweet potatoes) and garlic toast. The pork wasn't dry at all and if you squeeze some of that 1949 original sauce on the pile of meat, it becomes finger-licking delicious! I made a makeshift dessert with my sweet potatoes by lathering it with the cinnamon spread that came with the dish. So good!I'm giving an extra shout out to the staff because they were so accommodating and hospitable!Extra Tip: Offers military discount of 10% off!"
"I guess the concensus is that this is the best place to eat in River City. It probably is the best steak as Longhorn and Outback are the only other options. There is always a wait, I don't mind a few minutes but there is sometimes a wait of two hours. I will not be doing that. The steaks are good for a commercial, budget friendly steakhouse. They are cooked to the requested temp and have a good seasoning. You will not need steak sauce to add flavor. They bread is a yeast roll and have a firm crust and a soft center, served with cinnamon butter. If you order a salad it always comes before the meal, not with it as seems to be the new way to serve a salad. They have an app called an onion petal or something like that. It is far superior to what some other chains do with the same type of app.The service is always excellent. This must be the culture of the restaurant as most places in the area (and there are a lot) do not give this kind of service. When you are seated, the hostess puts a tag on your table. This tells the manger that he or she has not stopped by yet. A manager will always speak to you here. The servers go above and beyond to ensure you have a good experience. They check in after your food is served at the appropriate time, never let your drink get empty, then check in regularly. My only complaint is the loud music. It is kind of a bar atmosphere throught the place. It won't stop me from going but I do feel it is a bit excessive."
"Great little place with a nice view of the marsh & river. The barBQ pork sandwich was on toast and perfect & flavorful, not too greasy. My side of fresh potato salad was also very fresh and delicious. They have a choice of 5 or 6 sauces -- I had the Florida which has our St. Augustine local datil pepper in it. It was not too spicey -- just right. The iced tea & lemonade (I mix them) was also great for barBQ on a warm sunny day -- in February! Love my Florida weather sittin by the river. I have previously tried their other location on Rt1 & 206 and it is just as Great -- smoking meats & great service. There is also some nice merchandise for purchase. The baby onesie, mug, and tshirts are nicely done with a humorous message or 2."
"It's rare that I can't find some positive in BBQ, but this lunchtime meal was nothing to write home about. I ordered 1/2 chicken with garlic toast and side salad. The chicken was smoked and the skin was charred beyond flavor. The side salad was just iceberg lettuce with chunks of tomato too large to fit in my mouth. The garlic toast was thick white bread with no taste, although it was toasted properly. Could be a fun venue at night with live music but nothing really separated this from any other place."
