"Cool little spot for amazing local doughnuts and breakfast sandwiches. Highly recommend if downtown!"
"I have passed by this coffee shop so many times in a hurry to make it to the next appointment or work related thing. Leap year day, I stopped in! I brought my work laptop with me to stay for a little while, sip, eat, and work. Logging into the wifi here was very easy, and I picked a spot right by the window to work (nice views and lighting) I ordered a small London Fog tea which came with loose leaf tea (not a tea bag) steeped into my cute mug - this really makes all the difference. Thank you sippers for going the extra mile and choosing loose leaf tea. I also was able to substitute the whole milk for oat milk which was very nice. Let me get to this açaí bowl. I've eaten in the next plaza over at Juice Tap; had their açaí bowl over there, & liked it. Since this is a coffee shop first, I wasn't expecting the açaí bowl to be as superb as it really was (at only 8-9 dollars at that too) It was late lunch and I needed something in my tummy. The blend of açaí they make, the heart of what's in the bowl underneath all of the pretty toppings, was So good! Fresh! I had chunks in it (small fruit chunks) from it being freshly blended. The mixture was So creamy too but not overly creamy. They also drizzle the top with some honey which is my favorite part! I was allowed to substitute the blueberry toppings for extra strawberries instead and that really made my day. The fact that I was able to order an açaí bowl under ten bucks - wow! Super grateful for the very reasonable pricing here. But to then be blown away with the quality of this price friendly açaí bowl too - I was kicking myself for not stopping in here sooner, especially since I lived in a nearby apartment complex for 2 years right down the street. Sippers is now up there in my top 5 coffee shops of Jax to visit to either work, eat, sip, or grab something to go. Yall the music - I know that's a random thing to notice but since I was working in here for a couple of hours yesterday, lol, I noticed. First I think it was Christian music; after a couple songs, the main Star Wars theme song came on, followed by Michael buble, and then some smooth jazz or classical music. I was so entertained by the mix up. Star Wars had me cracking up though bc if you have ever listened to the whole thing, that one song goes on and on for an awkwardly long time - I was here for it. This shop stays steady! Goes to show just how many love it. I'm very happy to see this place thrive in such a good location too! The service here was very hospitable. You could tell I was a newbie and no one seemed to get annoyed with my questions on what to order. Parking can be kindive tricky since it's in a small strip with other businesses, but it's not too bad. I waited maybe all of 30 seconds for a customer to pull out of a spot so I could pull in and use theirs. I would absolutely come back and will be!"

"Maybe I'm missing out because I didn't try the sandwiches or the pizza. We just stopped in to see if we could find a local spot for bread that beats out the disappointment that Panera has become. For what we got, take-out loaves, it really wasn't that impressive. For about the same price, I can get better at a Publix bakery, with far better variety at the grocery store. I do realize most of the goods at Publix are shipped in frozen from a central location, and it's not truly local or artisinal.Mind you - I really do want to find a good mom-and-pop bakery that isn't all cup cakes and desserts. I want the quaint underdog to beat the big businesses that have squashed them. So I probably will give them another chance. And I'll update you when I do."
"Living in my Dairy Era since magically post-pregnancy I am no longer lactose intolerant. So excited that I finally got to try Cookies and Creme! This quaint little shop next to the gas station does build your own ice cream cookies with tons of homemade cookie and homemade ice cream flavors. It's a bit overwhelming with all the choices but I have a feeling you can't go wrong with any of them. To my surprise they even had dairy-free ice cream options available. Cute little (kid-friendly) seating area outside as well."
"We are are banh mi family and super thrilled to have found an AWESOME banh mi sandwich shop within reasonable driving distance. We ordered the #1, Jax Signature. You can order various sizes, which was super cool, since I usually have to order 2 for myself. So I just ordered their 12" for myself, and a couple 6" sandwiches for the rest of the family. The bread was warm, which is something we are not used to, and the ingredients had some other surprises that I could not identify, but happily consumed. Until next time Banh Mi & Pho Express. =)"
"Very good sandwiches if you like meat. My favorite is one called the Scarface (if they still have it) . Great place to go after a night at the clubs. Only complaint is that they got rid of the Ciders :("
"I had to update my review because both cakes held up great!!! Yes I have to update this review to 5 stars because it's usually unlikely for a fresh strawberry shortcake to hold up but Crème de la Cocoa cake held and was delish! The cake looked so beautiful and I especially enjoyed the Black Forest cake it was so moist and delish too! Also Bailey truly cares for her customers and offered to have a new complimentary fresh strawberry shortcake for me on 12/31 (even though they were not open for business)... wow, this was so kind and thoughtful of her!! However, graciously I declined this offer because I truly appreciate businesses that put their employees and customers first and I experienced that first hand with Crème de la Cocoa!Well done and please keep up the great work!! It's establishments like this that make America a kinder and better place to live in!! HAPPIEST NEW YEAR!"
"I recently attended a farm tour event and was delighted to discover a new eatery on our tour. The establishment was bustling with activity and situated in the heart of Springfield. The menu showcased farm-fresh ingredients, and I opted for the mojo chicken salad. Although I had anticipated a sandwich, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a visually appealing salad. The pesto sauce was exquisite, and the tomatoes were a vibrant red, indicating their freshness. Overall, it was a delightful culinary experience with top service. I highly recommend."
"Excellent choice for breakfast and lunch. All crepes we tried were very tasty. This place is one of handful where you can also have a very good Turkish coffee. Love it here and will be back."
"This place is amazing. The food is unbelievable and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The seating is small but worth the wait. Remember to get some muffins when you are done with Breakfast!! They are the best in town!!!"
"This is a favorite restaurant of mine across all food genres. I normally get the same thing and the consistency of the dish through the years is amazing. There is a lot to be said for that. I get my order to go and then stroll around the market and pick up some items to take home. You can order your meal at the counter or dine in at their quaint restaurant. My favorite dish is the Kibbi plate. It comes with kibbi, tabbouleh and hummus. The meal is served fresh and with a side of warm pita bread. I've also had the chicken shawarma plate, fattoush salad, falafel all which are fantastic. From the market Ive purchased and enjoyed everyone of the following items:Kibbi, Labneh, Grape leaves, Spicy Garlic Hummus, Falafel, Olives, Fried Pita Chips, Tzatziki Sauce and veggies. Excellent food freshly prepared always!!!"
"If you want authentic, this place is it. I can't believe I've never been here before, and I cannot wait to try more things on the menu. On top of that, the prices were great - especially compared to some local chains. Then after you eat, ensure you stroll around the store! There's a meat / butcher shop in the back and a huge pastry and bakery section."

It's my first time going to good dough. I love donuts, and my partner loves coffee. I didn't realize parking was behind the shop, so I parked across the street. When I first walked into the spot, I noticed it was cozy and a little old-school. The workers were very friendly. Since it's October, we wanted to try any October theme products. I got myself the pumpkin cinnamon roll and pumpkin creme brulee layer. The pumpkin cinnamon roll was delicious. I wasn't a fan of the brulee; the pumpkin creme inside and the brulee on top wasn't my cup of tea. I would definitely come back. They have many options there, and I want to try some more!

I absolutely love this place. It is nestled in such a cute part of Jacksonville. The iced lavender lattes are absolutely delicious and they give you so much. The lattes are strong with 2 to 3 espresso shots. The croissant sandwich is absolutely delicious and so filling, you could probably split it with someone. The service is extremely fast and everyone there is so welcoming and kind. I love this mom and pop coffee shop and I cannot wait to go back with my husband.

Boyfriend and I were craving a good bagel sandwich the other morning so while I laid lazily in bed he went to pick up these beauties! I was highly impressed with the quantity of these bagels. Super fresh and the bouncy like texture you want and can often only find up north. I got the bacon, arugula and tomato on an Asiago onion bagel. The bacon was perfectly crispy with a thick juicy tomato and fresh peppery arugula. My bf had the plain bagel with a thick soft scrambled egg to which he added bacon. I will definitely be back

My friend and I ordered the banh mi sandwiches to-go and deconstructed. They have a special when you buy five, you get one free. We got four lemongrass beef and one grilled pork. They packed the pickled radish, carrots, jalapeño and cilantro in separate bags so the sandwiches don't get soggy. When I got home, I put them together and it was very tasty. Also, they do not skimp on the meat!

This is one of those places that you may think you'll stop in and only check them out, maybe do a little window shopping, well once you enter this space you ain't leaving emptied handed - there is something for everyone here no matter your taste be it sweet or savory. All my senses immediately went to DEFCON 1, there was no way I was leaving without a bag of goodies - the truffles are amazing (like no other), the cheese cakes in a cup is a must try (my favorite to date "blueberry") on the savory side who could resist the fresh baked crusty croissants (not me). Well I could of spent more time here exploring their offerings but I thought I had purchased a pretty good cross-section of what was on display. The prices here I feel are reasonable, I mean you are buying "edible art", the staff was wonderful and everything is packaged in beautiful containers that will protect whatever you buy until you reach your destination or in my case until the sampling began after I reached my vehicle. If I have any regrets it's that I should have gotten more, but there'll always be a next time because I won't visit the ancient city again without stopping in now that I've discovered where the true treasures lies...

Small, cute coffee shop and so much more. I've been hooked on this place since the first time I tried it. Now I can't be near it without stopping in. My fave has to be the "Everything" pastry. It's so soft and fluffy and the cream cheese justs gives it an extra kick! The staff is so nice and friendly always smiling. If you are looking for a good pastry item, good coffee, or a gift for someone that isn't an everyday type of gift, this is your spot!

"Cute little cuban Cafe in the cut. It could easily be missed but is def worth the stop as the empanadas are to die for... they have a wide variety, including chicken, beef, and vegetable. They also serve a variety of coffee. Nice place to grab a snack before sight seeing."
"There are not enough words to describe these cookies! OMG delicious!! This is my 3rd time trying Crumbl and the chocolate chunk is my go to. I mean look at the chunks in this cookie. When you walk into the store the young man behind the counter describes in detail what each cookie of the week is. I knew going in what I wanted but listened to him anyway You can order a single cookie , a box of 4 , 6 or 12. Run, don't walk to your nearest Crumbl store!"
"I have never been to the establishment, but they are a vendor at the Riverside Arts Market every Saturday in downtown Riverside under the I-10/95 overpass next to the St Johns River. They have a large assortment of bread and pastries. I have tried all of the pastries, they were all tasty. Recently though, I tried a loaf of High Fiber with Fruit. The bread is loaded with grains, fresh milled flour, and a variety of seeds and fruit. I'm on my 3rd loaf, it's packed with fiber, and it's moist because of the fruit. I prefer it toasted plain, but butter certainly makes it delicious! I also love their Sourdough loaves!"
"This hidden gem was AMAZING!! Everything was delicious!! I came with friends and everyone was completely satisfied. We had fluffy pancakes that didn't even need syrup, turkey sausage, buttery soft biscuits that melt in your mouth, & creamy grits (top it with the crawfish pepper jack soup trust me it will blow your mind)!!! We also had the ham and Gouda sandwich that was sooo buttery good!! This is my new favorite spot 5 stars!!! Thank you Ms. Terri, Kat, and JoJo in the kitchen is a bad man!!!"
"The cookies were good but not great... I thought they were a little high in price based on the size and flavor. But, it's only my opinion, as the place was slammed busy and there was a line of people waiting on their cookies. They were also sold out of a lot of flavors. I'm not sure I would take the chance to go back to try it again, based on my first visit.. it wasn't an OMG I need to go get a cookie kind of cookie."
"Whenever we visit my in-laws, we have to stop by Tillmans to pick up some items for the grill! This last trip we picked up some Jalapeño sausage and mild sausage. They were both delicious! We usually purchase Churrasco (skirt steak) for the grill but they didn't have any the weekend we were there. Looking forward to picking up more items the next time we're in town!"
"There is no better way to celebrate the beginning of the holidays than with with a delicious cupcake from Cupcake Fifty Etc. This was our very first time here on this Saturday afternoon. My first impression walking in was "Oh how pretteee". The decor in itself is a work of art! I am all for Bright and Merry with a lovely colorful tree and a cheerful chandelier as you walk in the door. This is a cute establishment with banquet facilities in the Arlington area. The cupcake shop had so many options. It was so hard to decide which one to get out of the $4.00 selection as the young lady directed us which rows were reserved for the Yelp Elite Week event. I settled with the seasonal Red Velvet with nuts and my husband picked the yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting. We also ordered the festive peppermint bark with a candy cane on top cupcake and banana pudding to try. I will say we are samplers. LOL. My husband Rey and I sampled all 4 as soon as we got settled in. All the cupcakes (Red velvet with nuts, yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting and peppermint bark) were all soft and not dense at all! The cupcakes were delicious and the frosting was on point in flavor and texture. The size was huge in my opinion and I was only able to eat a few bites on all 3. Lol. The banana pudding was cold and very fresh! We were looking for the sliced bananas that you typically find in banana pudding but it was still DELICIOUS as this had crunchy crushed vanilla wafers on top. Can't wait to go back after the holidays to try something different. Overall, everything was rich, moist and sweet. Good composition! Recommend: Definitely recommend if you haven't been here yet. \(* *)/. We had a great experience from start to end. The staff all welcomed us as we walked in and were helpful wearing their masks. The shop was also very clean. #supportsmallbusiness#CupcakeFiftyEtc#JacksonvilleYelp"
"This place is an amazing Colombian family owned breakfast/lunch spot. Go early enough to get the empanadas + sauce and cheesy bread before they run out! Highly recommend their chorizo as well!"
"Exceeded our expectations! When local Venezuelans recommend it and approve then it's a win! So delicious loved everything we ordered! Cheese was oozing out! Don't remember all the items we ordered but it was perfect and highly recommend it!"
"I finally made it to lunch here and loved it! These are the same great treats from Southern Grounds. The bakery is located on Beach Blvd (very close to Southern Grounds in San Marco surprisingly) and has a few parking spots in front, and more on the side. There was only one other person in the cafe when I arrived, but more people came while we were eating. I browsed the menu and couldn't decide between breakfast or lunch. They are super limited on veggie friendly entrees, so I went with the avocado toast (that comes with an over easy egg on top and a side salad). The portion was huge, and it was DELICIOUS! Loved the bread that the toast came on. I would like to get a big salad if they offered a vegetarian one or shrimp or salmon as a protein option. I got my favorite pumpkin muffin to go. The ambiance is cute and it's a really nice place to work on your laptop. I will visit again. Great little breakfast/lunch spot near San Marco!"
"Stopped in for a quick lunch. That was an excellent decision. Both my wife and us enjoy Cuban food. Here you can order off the menu or choose your food from a steam table up front. We chose braised Cuban pork, black beans and yellow rice. The plantains, roast chicken and white rice looked good as well. The pork was succulent and the rice and beans were excellent. The owners were pleasant and welcoming and the the decor was interesting with beautiful murals created by a friend of the owner. The portions were huge and filling and the flan desert was rated as outstanding by my lovely esposa. "I learned to make flan in Veracruz but this was the best I've eaten."she commented. When visiting Palm Coast and craving great Cuban food try this place!!!"
"After my first visit to Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery on the recent "Be My Elite" event, I couldn't wait to try it again! I was afforded an opportunity to at the Beach Blvd location and found it nothing but awesome just like the San Jose St location. This store is larger than the Elite Event location. Appears to have been around for a while. I will say that its seating area includes three or four bar-seated chairs and tables that leave much empty space inside. Also, there is no children's play area here. But I can say that service was great on this Sunday. I truly appreciate the courtesy of the gentleman working the shop this afternoon. In addition, I got to try some new things, like the German chocolate cupcake - it was spectacular!! I've also eaten the excellent blueberry cupcake, but have two more to go! You MUST try the red velvet ice cream. It is clearly among the best of the best ice cream flavors I've ever had! This is the best shop of its kind I know. If you're thinking about whether not to go visit - I'll just say, "Don't Think! Just DO!"Recommend: HIGHEST"
"Stopped in this little place on an afternoon out with my mom. The place is small but very clean and open. It's a counter service style place so you order at the counter and either take your food to go or sit in the small dining area. We chose to sit and stay. My mother got a hot pastrami sandwich and I got the Cuban. Both were amazing! Growing up in a heavily Cuban populated area, I KNOW a good Cuban. And let me tell you, this one was GOOD! The pork was perfectly cooked and the bread is made in house and is worth eating all on its own. So soft but crusty at the same time. The people here were so nice too. Support local owned shops!"
"Upon entering this appears to be a normal chocolate, cake, cookie kinda place but, there is a restaurant attached to it. I cannot speak for th food as of today, but I can rave about the oatmeal cookie with GOLDEN raisins! Not only was it the size of a saucer, it was possibly one of the best oatmeal cookies I've ever eaten. Also had the chocolate cookie with chocolate icing which was also very tasty, just thick. We had the peanut butter with peanut butter cups, very crumbly and dry...eat with a plate and tea. We had a box of chocolates as well, as far as I know they were all delicious because my family gobbled them up! We will definitely come back to try the food and to get more cookies. I guess I will need to get up much earlier if I want to try the donuts! Good treats get sold out early, the early bird gets the donuts!"
"I stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop on my way to an estate sale. First rule about an state sale is finding a hidden gem among the masses. And boy is CFK is a hidden gem. It seems like a family run business and we were given some free treats while waiting in the drive through. The menu is pretty straightforward and I'm shocked at the wallet friendly prices. It is a no frill coffee shop with the essential basics. The coffee was warm like a hug and the banana bread was delicious. It's a drive through, quick and friendly. Can't wait to try it again!"
"Ok- so this place gets a solid 4 stars from me . The stern Ukrainian working the counter has the perpetual "Don't f with me face" but the product here is great. I was expecting like an old mug with my coffee- like as a receptacle - buuuuut the only old mug here was the mean Ukrainian. All in all, I liked it, though the interior of the place , while homey, could use some love. If you are in the Avondale area and need a good cup of joe without a lot of fuss, check this place out"
"I like the quick service and self ordering. Everything comes out hot and fresh to order and always tastes great. Can be busy on Friday nights but otherwise, it's a great alternative for after dinner next door treats"
"The food was excellent and the servings were of good portions. Since my friend was new to Turkish food. The waitress recommended that we share a mixed grill plate, and a falafel and hummus appetizer. She was very helpful and her recommendations turned out to be the perfect order. The gyro shaved meat was tasty and tender. The chicken shish and lamb Adana kebabs were also spiced really well and tender and juicy... not dry The hummus was creamy and the falafel was slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The desserts I tried were delicious too. My favorite was the chocolate cream and hazelnut pistachio roll. I also liked the pomegranate roll. From what I could see and smell, the cafe was very clean. the actual restaurant is located inside the mall of Apana Bazaar"
"This gem is an amazing spot!! Literally a perfect boba place with all the sweet young people. Very diversity, and friendly. And the owner really did learn how to sign 'Boba' and let me know when I came in.... Guess what I never knew what the sign was til now that I learned from the owner. Deserves all the good reviews and respect! Can't wait to see this place thrive! It's a small space overall but a lot of things to look at and take pictures too. I really enjoy coming in and I look forward to every next visit! Definitely getting my birthday cookie cake, their options are already good I haven't tried a bigger one so I can't wait!!!"
"What a fun experience! Enjoyed the cookies very much! Great to have in palm coast! Different cookies every week! Must try more!"
"We visited many times before I gave this restaurant 5-stars. The interior is very nice with beautiful bathrooms. Kitchen is clean and bright, with wonderful staff, and ownership present on site. Food is really, really good. Even though, as of yet, the full menu is not available. For St. Augustine Shores it is pricey, but worth it!"
"Today, we had the absolute privilege of visiting Annie Lee's Bakery and Diner as part of the Buy Black Business Bus Tour with the Melanin Market, and let me tell you--it was like being personally escorted into foodie heaven. From start to finish, this place delivered an experience so good it could probably write its own autobiography.Let's talk about my husband's order first: Oxtails. Now, these aren't even on the Saturday menu, but Jacob, our waiter (and now honorary family member), worked his magic and made it happen. If that's not next-level customer service, I don't know what is. He paired those oxtails with collard greens and sweet potatoes, and trust me, they were so good they practically demanded a standing ovation.I went the veggie route with collard greens, rice and gravy, a side salad, and yams--but because I don't play around when it comes to food, I added grilled shrimp. Every single item on our plates was seasoned with so much love and skill that my taste buds were basically doing the electric slide by the end.And the desserts? Oh, we weren't leaving without cake. Key Lime and Yellow Cake joined the party, but then the staff really outdid themselves. Someone casually dropped that it was our 21st wedding anniversary (thanks for snitching, Jacob!), and the staff surprised us with a song, more cake, and ice cream. I almost started bawling right there in the middle of the diner. Like, ugly cry bawling.Long story short, the food is a masterpiece, but the staff? They're what makes Annie Lee's truly special. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I'll definitely be back for more--and not just for the food, but to hang out with the kind of people who make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Annie Lee's, you've got my heart (and probably most of my paycheck)."
"A more convenient location for me than the original store. Got everything I needed to make some middle-eastern recipes like a tube of harissa. Also picked up some excellent hummus, baba ganoush, Tabbouleh, and thick pita. The baba was a little fermented on the second day, so eat it fast. No preservatives are a good thing! Also had delicious sweets from the case. They will also make dishes to your specifications if needed (we have a family member who has to stick to a low sodium diet and they really love hummus)."
