"First time trying Bagels R US and it was great! The staff was super kind and helpful as we navigated the extensive menu. While I initially went in with a craving for a bagel I was distracted by a sign that said they had french toast (and I couldn't resist the urge) especially after the young lady at the register confirmed that it was good - and she was right! I honestly wasn't expecting a place that specializes in bagels to serve up a really good french toast but I was proven wrong. It was soooo good and the portions were huge! The french toast also came with your choice of a side of hash browns or home fries. I chose the home fries and added cheese on top (although I wouldn't do that again since the cheese on top was placed sparingly and didn't melt all the way. I think they used sliced cheese instead of shredded and I think they should definitely use shredded moving forward) but the potatoes were seasoned so that helped save it.My friend got the steak and egg bagel and I tried the creme cheese she picked and I can't remember the exact flavor but it was a garlic base and was super good! Everything was great and I will definitely be back - but earlier this time as they were sold out of some of my go-to bagels."
"Maybe I'm missing out because I didn't try the sandwiches or the pizza. We just stopped in to see if we could find a local spot for bread that beats out the disappointment that Panera has become. For what we got, take-out loaves, it really wasn't that impressive. For about the same price, I can get better at a Publix bakery, with far better variety at the grocery store. I do realize most of the goods at Publix are shipped in frozen from a central location, and it's not truly local or artisinal.Mind you - I really do want to find a good mom-and-pop bakery that isn't all cup cakes and desserts. I want the quaint underdog to beat the big businesses that have squashed them. So I probably will give them another chance. And I'll update you when I do."
"For some odd reason, I have never once visited this shop since I moved around this area in 2005 til this day. My manager was amazed and told me to try it this weekend. And so, I did. Lol.Came here with my sister and the shop was quite busy, but not hectic. Opened the door and smelled the great fresh coffee and bagels. Nice and cute decor and the staff were friendly. We ordered:- Everything bagel w/Lox Spread- 1/2 dozen bagels (blueberry, 2 asiagos, 2 wheats and a garlic) The lox spread was amazing and I love savory tastes. Based on their website, lox is raw sugar cured smoked salmon. This cream cheese spread was also mixed with capers, scallops and a hint of lemon. The family enjoyed the bagels as well. I recommend this place and would love to revisit again and try their hot bagel menu and coffee."
"Urban Grind Coffee Company, which by the way, us a great name for a coffee joint, is a great place to grab a coffee if you are in the Jacksonville, Florida and looking to start your day with a dose of caffeine. The place has a cool enough ambiance and the service is friendly and with a smile. All in all, a great place."
"This location is hands down cleaner and better stocked up on bagels than the beach location. Lots of areas to sit and a couple tv's going with family friendly movies on. Bagels are on point! Happy customer."
"Stopped by for an bagel sandwich, absolutely delicious. Didn't mind a bit of a wait for my food as it was a busy Saturday morning, definitely worth the wait."
"Bagels are huge and they don't skimp on the cream cheese We also tried the bagel egg and cheese with bacon . They have a lot of different choices . Close to NY bagels as you can get"

Happy I got to try this place while I was in the area. When I arrived around 8 most of the bagels were gone but they still had a few left, my suggestions would be to get there early so you get more of a variety. It seems one they are sold out that's it. This place has it all and definitely crazy combination. Which I love. My bagel was about 12 bucks I ordered the bacon tomato provolone cheese melt. In a cinnamon bagel. It was very tasty and fulfilling. I will definitely be back but earlier next time! When you enter there is space to have a breakfast inside however I was on the go.

Boyfriend and I were craving a good bagel sandwich the other morning so while I laid lazily in bed he went to pick up these beauties! I was highly impressed with the quantity of these bagels. Super fresh and the bouncy like texture you want and can often only find up north. I got the bacon, arugula and tomato on an Asiago onion bagel. The bacon was perfectly crispy with a thick juicy tomato and fresh peppery arugula. My bf had the plain bagel with a thick soft scrambled egg to which he added bacon. I will definitely be back

I've been going to Bite a Bagel since it opened. I'm originally from New York and this place is legit the best place in North Florida (possibly the whole south) to get bagels. Service is great but understand they get very busy on the weekend and holidays. So expect to wait. Order ahead because they sell out all the time. My only critique is that for some reason the owners opt to make their ham egg and cheese sandwiches in the New Jersey pork roll style. Go thinner on the ham!

Fresh, delicious & hot bagels picked up today on this cold morning in Jax. Great customer service by manager Henry and staff Ana welcoming me back to the store. It sure was cold outside but warm and toasty inside. My pick order today consisted of egg bagels, plain bagels and veggie cream cheese. My family was sure happy to see me return home with my goodie bag. Blessed to have a great local bagel store in my neighborhood!

I never went to Bagel Love when it was under the prior management so I can't compare it to that, but I thought it was great! It's a simple concept, but there are so many options available that you can completely customize your own sandwich. I think the bagels are really good- not too spongey (which would make the sandwich messy) and not too crispy either. I'm not familiar with NY bagels so can't judge them by those standards. Overall, it's a great place for a quick, casual breakfast in the area!

You're just the G.O.A.T... You're just undeniably the greatest of all time with the chopped cheese breakfast bagel. Whoever made it... you're the GOAT too. Just speechless.

Biggby Coffee where were you from 2018-2020?? Back then I had to sit at Meineke next door to wait for my oil changes from start to finish! But today, I found out in a special way, with high recommendations, to give Biggby a try - and I did it not only when I dropped off my car in the morning, but once again in the afternoon when I picked the car up at the auto shop. I'll say this here, if you're even reasonably in the area, get to Biggby and give it a try! Up front, they made the best white mocha frozen (their language for a frap) by far I've ever had. In the morning, I enjoyed the best white chocolate macadamia nut hot latte I ever had! What made them special? First, it's always great that you can taste the coffee still in a speciality beverage. The coffee taste clearly stood out in both. Whatever white chocolate syrup Biggby uses is just off the charts delicious! It plays more in the background combined in the macadamia nut version, but when solo, it is unbelievably good! The white chocolate macadamia nut frozen has a solid standout and delicious nut flavor that gets better with each passing sip! A further bonus was that I came in on Wednesday, which is BOGO day! That made it even easier to take two trips here today!! Just a note: pay attention to the deals here and get their card! Every weekday there's some kind of special going on here. As for the service: Spectacular. Every member of the team, both morning and afternoon, had big smiles on their faces, greeted you, and took time to assist you in every way possible. I shout out to Blake, who in the morning took every time and opportunity to help us get acquainted with Biggby and help us make the best order possible. But I do want to say also that you can expect stellar treatment from any of the employees at Biggby Coffee. In the military we always said that everything rises and falls on leadership and such is true in business world as well. I say this coffee shop is off and running well because of an unbelievably friendly and caring owner (Kevin). It was great to spend some time chatting with him today - he was there in the morning and when I got back after mid afternoon. He gives his employees and customers positive attention, talks with us, and his smile is contagious. No surprise to me that Biggby is off and running after only being open since last November. Just excellent product, well-trained staff, and superior customer service. I also love the setup and layout of the interior area of Biggby Coffee. There are various types of seating that are spread out and spaced nicely. It has padded chairs in one area, typical four chair table seating in another. There is a small booth area and barstool seating too. It has just about everything. The orange color makes it stand out and there are some pictures on the walls. I could sit in Biggby for hours! Well, it's great to review another one of the many coffee shops that have sprouted up in JAX over the last couple of years! The choices are better. Competition has grown and Biggby is clearly making the best of its opportunity to make an imprint in the area! Give it a try!Recommend: HIGH

"Terrific place. Coffe was spot on and my kiddo absolutely loved her sandwich. I would have taken a pic of the sandwich but she inhaled it before I thought about it. lol. Drinks and food delicious but the service was spectacular. Something about excellent service makes me want to come back time and time again. Thank so much!!!!"
"I seen the post about bad service, however, I have to say that I found the service to be very good. I was here for breakfast and I am a big fan of bagels, so that is what I went with. Prices were fair and a bagel is good. Dare I say, very good. They are located in a strip Plaza and our next to a pizzeria and a Chinese restaurant. Kind of a trifecta of good meals to select. I did find it kind of funny that these restaurants were next to a Planet Fitness. I guess after a hard workout, you can go into one of these restaurants and make up for all the calories you burned. The Sub Base & Bagel Place is a smaller establishment and it is simply furnished and decorated. Ambiance is definitely not as strong suit. However, in a place like this, if it was a little bit more fancy, it would feel out of place somehow.I definitely recommend here. Check them out."
"Graffiti American Burger Bar is a casual and friendly bar that you want to spend a couple of hours at relaxing and chatting with others. They have good bar food like juicy burgers, chicken wings, etc and a full bar that makes you feel satisfied. Good food for sure! There is a large free parking lot available for customers. I also loved the graffiti on the walls. We ordered chicken wings to go and a tray of some of the best pretzels and sauce I've ever tasted! Yummy! Service was friendly and helpful. We plan to go back next trip to Jacksonville Beach!"
"Ok- so this place gets a solid 4 stars from me . The stern Ukrainian working the counter has the perpetual "Don't f with me face" but the product here is great. I was expecting like an old mug with my coffee- like as a receptacle - buuuuut the only old mug here was the mean Ukrainian. All in all, I liked it, though the interior of the place , while homey, could use some love. If you are in the Avondale area and need a good cup of joe without a lot of fuss, check this place out"
"Great customer service and delicious breakfast sandwiches! Large variety! Will definitely be back!"
"I just found my new favorite breakfast spot!!!! The customer service was amazing; she was very patient with me and gave me recommendations. The tables were really cute and beach themed. I sat at a table that was like a tiki bar while waiting for my bagel. I ordered a sun dried tomato bagel, with sun dried tomato cream cheese with bacon, fried egg, and cheddar cheese. It was insanely good and I fought my husband over it. Can't wait to come back!"
"I am so thrilled to have Holey Moley added to the beaches breakfast spots! This NY bagel shop is a no frills breakfast and lunch option, including non bagel menu items. Super conveniently located near the Gate Station in the Arepa Please and Divinci's shopping center. They make yours to order and I got the jalapeño and Asiago breakfast sandwich with egg and avocado. The inside is pretty plain and it would be nice to have some outside seating, but the food is the focus here anyway, right?!I will definitely be back!"
"The food was fresh and very good! If you like toasty bagels, I'd recommend asking for double toasted because they do lightly toast them. I had a breakfast sandwich and I loved that they cook the eggs to order. My daughter had a bagel with s'mores cream cheese and she was in heaven. The service was great and the lady working the front was so very sweet. There are few tables you can dine in and it's very clean and cozy. This place is tucked away and not super noticeable from busy Atlantic Blvd, but it's definitely worth stopping by!"
