The donuts were great. We discovered the Jacksonville donut and coffee trail and this was our first stop. What a way to start. So they have unique offerings in addition to the standard donut flavors you expect. I always judge based on a sour cream donut and this one was top notch. My other favorite was the Elvis - peanut butter and bacon topped, and banana cream filled - it was excellent and honestly the best of the ones I ate. They also have kolaches - sausage filled baked dough. We tried the medium spicy and the regular and they were both good, but the regular brought more flavor. It's a little shop that's exactly what you expect from an old school donut place. Order at the counter no frills just good stuff.

What a great donut shop tucked away in a plaza at the intersection of Bowden & Salisbury Rd! In addition to donuts, they also have breakfast sandwiches, kolaches and bagels. What's interesting is they also sell Lumpia & Empanadas on the weekends!! How bizarre is that? I've only ordered their donuts and love them because they are soft, fluffy and not overly sweet. The Samoa donut and Apple Fritter are my favorites. This won't be my last visit and can't wait to come back and try the other items on their menu.

One of my co-worker brought in about 2 dozen doughnuts from this Donut Shop. I tried the strawberry frosted. The doughnut IMO was kind of a mixture of what you would get from a Dunkin' and Krispy Kreme.

I'm a fan. Bunny's Donut Shop is recently opened and they have easily hit my Top 5 of local Donut shops.Walking in, you smell nothing but donuts and see nothing but donuts. I was immediately greeted by Kai and Derrick who showed me all the donut selection. Kai added that the donuts are made fresh daily (shop opens 5:30am daily). Looking into, they carry a good selection. It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted so I went via "my favorite donut mode" ordering Chocolate Glazed, Glazed, Apple Fritter, Cinnamon Roll and Churro.Taste Impressions...- Glazed & Chocolate Glazed Donut (5/5): Nice and soft. And the best part, it wasn't overly sweet- Cinnamon Roll (5/5): While my crazily favorite, Cinnabon still rings true, what separates Bunny's version of Cinnamon Roll is that it taste homemade and not overly sweet. Cinnabon on other hand, will send you on a Diabeticly sweet launch off per bite - Apple Fritter (5/5): My favorite Apple Fritter reigns from a local shop called The Donut Shoppe. Bunny's version of Apple Fritter is comparable in my humble Yelp opinion, just flatter and bigger/wider - Churro (4/5): loved the texture and flakiness per bite but what was missed on this donut was the "Churro taste". I just couldn't taste it- Donut Twist (5/5): I had a small bite of this donut just to sample. I ate the rest the following morning and it was still good to eat without the need to heating up a donut to soften it up.All in all, great donuts. Nice and soft. Pricing is comparable to most local donut shops. I will definitely come back to try the others.#SupportLocal

Stopped by early this morning, like 7:15 am. Got a maple bacon and a beef kolache. That donut was by far the best maple bacon I've ever had, it was real bacon! The man working even warmed up my kolache and gave me a side of honey mustard. Love this place! Ate way too fast for pictures...

Finally stopped in this donut shop right behind one of my Favorite Thai restaurants in Jax off Bowden rd. I've been so excited for this place to open. One of the first things I noticed - Reasonable prices! Wow a half dozen for $10?!; sign me up! Thankful for the very reasonable prices here. It's very clean inside with zero clutter. They have a decorated wall that you can take pics in front of which is always much appreciated. At first I was going to get all of the more unique flavored donuts when looking at what was available in the case, but instead decided to go with what I know I would probably like based on looks. My reasoning - ones like the Samoa, (not pictured here but sounded delicious) only had a thin layer of icing or goodies on the very top of the donut (kindive like mini bar donuts). Think of the comparison between dunkin and Krispy. Krispy glazes all of the donuts, then adds the various toppings on top verses dunkin just has the goodies on top, leaving 50% or more; dry. Now I know this is personal preference. I'm just including the details so for those of you like myself out there reading this, you know. I picked the donuts that looked like had icing on at least half of the donut verses the ones that had less than 50% icing on the donut. All of the donuts were very fresh except for the cute ugly donut. This one was a bit hard or over fried. It did have good flavor. I also tried one of the dirty sodas. Dr Pepper with coconut cream mixed in - very nice! I did like that this is a spin on what is normally offered at donut shops in the area. The drinks do come with a lot of ice, so if you are someone who is not a fan of lots of ice, I would state that when ordering. It looks like there is an automatic coffee machine behind the counter, and also grab and go coffee, energy drinks, and juice in a free standing cooler to snag if soda is not your thing. I did recognize a bunch of brands in here dollar tree carries for only $1 more. So the options in the cooler are also very price friendly as well. Jacksonville has a decent amount of donut shops. This one is worth the try! Come support the small local spots like this one.

I moved to the Mandarin/San Jose area in Jacksonville in 2021. There were no local donut shops near me. Fast forward to mid-2024, and I am in a delicious donut district- Cheer Donuts, Doughfee, and now Bunny's Donut Shop, all within a 10 minute drive. As a donut lover, I'm now completely spoiled. Let me explain.I visited Bunny's Donut Shop during their grand opening with my toddler son and was immediately greeted with two free lumpia rolls that I ended up eating before I dug into the donuts. Good grief. These lumpia rolls, along with some great sweet chili sauce, were a revelation. Crispy dough, savory pork and vegetables on the inside, just fried perfection. When the owner stopped by to chat while we were eating, I pleaded with him that he needs to sell lumpia, at least on occasion, since they are were so flavorful. Now, the donuts. They have a wide selection of cake and raised donuts, as well as some specialties. I came in late that day, but I still had a variety to choose from. Their raised donuts are soft and fluffy with a subtle sweetness that is just tremendous. The plain glazed, sprinkled, cookie frosted, and chocolate frosted were all outstanding. The old fashioned is something that I've been missing in Jacksonville. A sweet, cake donut that's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside is just a dream. The only problem is that my 2.5 year-old son ended up eating most of it after I had two bites. A sneaky kid, he is. The only downer of the bunch was the cinnamon roll. While the dough was good, it didn't have much punch. I'm not sure whether it needs more sugar or more cinnamon, but it needs something to stand out with so many other good cinnamon rolls in town. All told though, their donuts are incredible. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the family who owned the shop was out in force on opening day supporting the shop, which was nice to see. We are extremely lucky to have so many great, family-owned donut shops in the general Mandarin/San Jose area. Out of the gate, Bunny's Donut Shop is in the top-tier of Jacksonville donut shops. I can't wait to go back!

I LOVE this place. Just opened in April. The softest, freshest donuts I've ever had and I consider myself a donut connoisseur. It's conveniently located at Bowden and Salisbury Road. It's comparable to The Donut Shoppe, but closer to my home. Cool flavors also - strawberry and pineapple crunch (yum), biscof butter, smores, fruity pebbles, blueberry, apple fritters, maple bar and the usual. They have a new one Samoa donut, you can see in the picture. It has toppings of caramel, coconut and chocolate stripes. They have a Mahoney which I want to try - a cinnamon roll sandwich with sausage egg and cheese. The Kolaches are really good too, they're like a big pig in a blanket. They have one with jalapeno in it. The bread is like a fresh Hawaiian sweet roll. I was impressed how fresh my donuts were 10 minutes before close on a Sunday. The owner even gave me a dozen free donut holes. They are so light and felt like air, so delish. The pic does have a couple bites out of the donuts - I just couldn't wait. Some my maple frosting got on the box lid, but they are still beautiful. Give them a try, you'll be very happy!! The prices are great too! I'll be back soon.

Got the chance to try this new donut shop after waiting for what felt like months before it opened. Always passing the Plaza on bowden with the sign for donuts in place but no actual donut shop until now. I think I have finally found my favorite donuts in Jacksonville!!! They aren't overall sweet, and they were fried almost perfectly. The only letdown was the chocolate cake, which was over fried. The blueberry cake was fried perfectly, so I'm not sure what happened to the chocolate one. Maybe it was last to be removed from the fryer? The rest of the yeast donuts were super soft and tasty. I normally am not a fan of strawberry flavored anything, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed the strawberry donuts. Will be back soon. Definitely give this new donut shop a chance!

Just wow! These donuts were fresh and SO delicious. We also got one of their Koloshs(I think I'm spelling it right?) but it's savory and cheesy and amazing! We'll definitely be coming back and using them for bringing in breakfast to work and other events. They were so nice and sweet to our kids.
