Bull Memorial Park

Nice, small park with all the amenities you would probably look for (playground, basketball court, tennis court & bathrooms). Parking wasn't terrible and you are a quick block or so from the beach! Pros: There are locks on the self-closing gates to keep the kiddos in from the busy, residential street. Lots of shade. Cons:Large sand area (I'm not sure if it's to play Bocce ball or a giant sand box) that is full of weeds and ants.

Our son has been playing baseball at this park for 5 years. We love it. They have two different play grounds, basketball courts, and two areas with swings. It's never crowded and has lots of huge trees that provide shade. The only negative is that in the evenings the pavilion sometimes gets some of the homeless population so I wouldn't advise going past dark.

This is a great park for kids. It has 2 play grounds. A kiddy height basketball hoop as well as a regular size one, picnic tables, a tire play area thingy, restrooms and a skate park at the far end. My only wish is that that was a paved trail around the perimeter of the park to jog. If I were looking for a place to take the kids I'd pick here, if I were looking for a place to walk the dog I'd choose a park with a trail instead.
