Buena Onda Cafe

It's a nice little place. We wanted to go to the restaurant across the street but didn't want to wait the insane amount of time they told us. We saw the cafe sign across the street and walked in with no line at all. The place is very nice inside. Good vibes. It's vegan/vegetarian which isn't necessarily what any of us were looking for but the cinnamon roll was good and the latte was also delicious.

Absolutely excellent vegan breakfast options, which we stumbled on when waiting and giving up on the Blue Hen across the street. We were so happy with the outcome!I love that the vegan options had a good protein focus to it! So many times we have had vegan food that while flavorful, isn't filling or nutritious. The ban mi was deliciously fresh and flavorful, the pickle in it was a nice touch. It came with a tomato soup which was tart and warming. The avocado toast was excellent too - great bread, flavorful tofu, and a bite from the potatoes. Both portions were very filling, the drinks were ordered were generously sized as well. It's a quick service cafe, food came in 15 minutes. We ate in at one of the tables, which we got pretty quickly even though they were pretty full when we first walked in. There's also a bar stool area if you'd like instead. Can't wait to go again!

Small bustling cafe. Seats were limited initially but opened up as we needed them. The menu accommodated each of us with meat and vegan options and everything was delicious and so fresh. 100% would recommend and will visit again!

Oh my goodness - truly good food and good vibes as promised! That vegan pozole was absolute perfection and so heart-warming and tummy-nourishing on a chilly December day. I loved the service - everyone had a smile on their face and though it was busy, there was no stress or impatience on their faces or in their tones. Clean, comfortable, enjoyable experience.

Do yourself a favor and check out West King! You don't need to go downtown for great food. It's right here on West King sandwiched between a local brewery and a cool shop. I've been visiting Buena Onda 6 or so years ago when our son was a student at Flagler. This cosy cafe continues to be one of our favorite breakfast and lunch spots. Today I ordered the Present Moment Bowl topped with grilled Tempeh. The bowl was filled with fresh kale, properly massaged to give it a bit softer texture, Lentils, quinoa, roasted butternut squash with a creamy avocado dressing. My husband had the Breakfast Burrito. Two beautiful fried eggs, refried beans, avocado, mash, fresh, roasted, sweet potatoes, cheddar cheese, wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla. It served with a side of spicy romesco and cilantro dip. Both dishes were delicious, healthy, and filling. Glad we walked here because now I can walk off what I just ate!

The service was efficient, and in no time, my to-go order was ready.Starting with the Golden Milk Latte, my wife thoroughly enjoyed its delicious flavor, and its health benefits added an extra layer of satisfaction.Next up was the Avocado Toast, featuring perfectly toasted bread and fresh, creamy avocado--a delightful combination that pleased our taste buds.The Mushroom Melt with Salad came next, proving to be a fulfilling and flavorful choice. The mushrooms nestled within the toast added a rich and savory dimension to the overall breakfast experience.In summary, our breakfast at Buena Onda was a delectable affair. This is an amazing place with super, duper friendly staff just as the name, Buena Onda, mentions. The breakfast is full of flavor. The tortortilla con huevos were amazing but i was a little jealous of my wife breakfast tacos.

Pleasant surprise while visiting St Augustine!The breakfast sandwich was so tasty!! The bagel itself was so fresh. It reminded me of New York bagels! The toppings/ filling was equally delicious. The cafe con leche was made to order. It was a great way to jumpstart a day of sightseeing! The ambience was that of a quaint coffee shop with some unique artwork and goods available to shop. The service was fast efficient and friendly! Highly recommend!

Amazing vegan options. I got the tofu egg scramble burrito. It was epic and the coffee was delicious. Don't let the outside building fool you.
