This Thai restaurant is and always has been consistent and delicious whether you're dining in their lovely dining room or ordering takeout. They take extra care with the food they're serving and I really appreciate that.

My trip to Jacksonville was brought to you by Buddha Belly... I guess it's actually called Buddha Thai Bistro, but it will always be known as Buddha Belly to me.We ordered takeout from here on July 3rd to gear up for the 4th festivities, as you got to go into the 4th with a full belly. The one regret was that we only ordered 1 of the drunken noodles and 1 Shu Mai Thai dumpling appetizer. I guess that's 2 regrets, but whatever. The next day while sitting at Lemon Bar, 3 too many High Noons deep and a couple of Zyns tucked high and tight, I was fighting for my life. My big bro had his spidey senses tingle and said "should order Buddha Belly again and ride the bikes back to the house so it gets there at the same time...?"This idea was up there with fighting a war for our Independence over a 3% stamp tax 248 years ago. What better to celebrate our independence from Tyranny? Land of the Free, Home of the Brave. He proceeds to order $220 worth of Buddha Belly, and it gets there 2 minutes after we finished the bike ride home. God is the perfect planner. In total, we got 5 orders of Chicken Curry Puffs, 4 orders of Shu Mai Dumplings, 2 Pad Thais, 2 Drunken Noodles, and a Curry. All of that for 5 people lol. We learned from our mistakes. Fool me once...The Drunken noodles were head and shoulders the MVP. It seems Pad Thai gets more love than Drunken Noodles in general, and I don't know why. It's oddly similar to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. We WAY over-ordered, but ended up having the leftovers for lunch the next day. So in total, I had 3 Buddha belly meals in a 2 day span and I wasn't even mad...Ig @jnov_Tiktok @jnov_reviews

This is a hidden gem. The team is friendly and will help you navigate their menu. They have an overwhelming amount of food options, but this is a good thing because you want to try something new each time. This was my first time visiting but, will not be my last time. We also ordered the crab ragoons and spring rolls (not pictured). The lighting is dim and best for family dinner or date night. Check out this local gem.

I absolutely adore this place! They are always amazing with their takeout food. Normally I get it to go but I finally had a dime in experience, and it was even better! I might have to do that every time! The waitress was super nice and welcoming. Very attentive. My food was absolutely mouth-wateringly tasty and flavorful and delicious. My friend got spicy soup, chicken puffs, and I got chicken satay appetizer, and a stuffed salmon curry entree.I have never tried it before and I am hooked! I am obsessed with their sauces. We also had some tasty drinks from their bar. They have a full parking lot outside and clean bathrooms. I highly recommend.

The vegan options they have here during the Jax Vegan Chef Challenge are totally delicious! I've been here at least five times during June savoring the dishes before the challenge is over. Please keep more vegan options on the permanent menu!

Let me say I Tom Kha Gai ( Thai coconut chicken soup). I could have a big bowl of it every day but only if I have it from Buddha Thai Bistro. I have ordered this soup all over Jax and there is only 1 other place that comes close but it's in Riverside That being said, a friend & I went shopping down to HomeGoods in the pouring rain today & decided we had to stop in for a quick bite. The first time I came here it was a bit confusing because there's a big sign that says Buddha Belly but they had to change their name because there was another restaurant with the same. Just make sure you look for the giant Buddha out front you can't miss it. The staff is always friendly and the service is always good. It's a very comfortable place with many booths , which I really appreciate having a bad back. I'm all about comfy places to sit in a restaurant. I didn't even need a menu this time because I knew I was having, a big bowl of the delicious soup.Tom Kha Gai is served in a big bowl with lots of chicken accompanied by slices of onion and red and green pepper. The coconut flavor mix with the lemon grass and lime make it perfect. I always ask for some chili sauce on the side and turn up the spice. My friend ordered her favorite which is Pad Thai. We were both very surprised when it came out as the chef makes it into a sort of omelette. When you cut it open, there are all the noodles inside. She requested for a spice level 2 and said it was plenty spicy enough. She said it had a really good flavor and enjoyed it. This is my fourth or fifth visit to Buddha Thai bistro, and it won't be my last.

Absolutely love Buddha Thai Bistro at Jacksonville Beach! Happy hour drinks and tapas daily from 3-6, always fresh and delicious food! Tons of vegan and vegetarian options available all the time. Make sure to ask for their selection of plant-based meats that can be added to any dish!

We went with friends for dinner and have to say the food was very good! Service was a little slow but they, like everyone else, are short on staff. The shumai were the only disappointment- the filling was very dry. The Thai egg rolls were good though. My crispy honey duck was a half of duck - great crispy skin and beautifully cooked and moist. My husbands drunk man noodles also delicious. Thai 3 has some heat but not burning. Plenty of parking. Interior is nothing fancy but pleasant.

Well our family was not able to make it to town for Thanksgiving so we were trying to debate what we should for for the 2 of us, 1 being vegan and 1 meat eater.... Low and behold a posting popped up for Buddha for their 10th annual Vegan Thanksgiving Buffet! It's not often the vegan gets a whole buffet to pick from and we don't have to cook and make a big mess in kitchen for just 2 ppl so we made a reservation. We arrived right on time and promptly led to our table. I was worried when made reservation they were gonna be packed but it was only half full whole time we were there. Food was very good, lots of choices! They also had bottomless mimosas but we decided to eat more and drink less haha We will def come back and try items from regular menu. The buffet wasn't what normally have for thanksgiving but it was a fun change of pace and no work or dirty dishes!!

My husband and I love Buddha Thai! Thai is always at the top of our list :) The chicken curry puffs and panko shrimp are our fav apps to start. The Pad Thai and any of the rice bowls (Ginger Man or Basil Fried Rice) or drunken noodles are a must too. Top it all off with a Thai iced tea and you're on the right track. Always friendly service and welcoming space!
