This place has great specials. Steak night on Friday's is as cheap as it gets. This place fills up fast anytime there's a football game on tv. Great spot to grab drinks. Service is a bit slow at times.

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.. i dont usually leave reviews but this place needed it. It was Sunday 2pm. I watched 1 quarter of the Washington Commanders/Eagles game. Had 1 beer. Half the bar was screaming about the Eagles vs Commanders game, so the couple next to me and I agree to change the TV in front of us to the eagles vs. commanders game rather than the meaningless bears vs Lion. A old man comes in, orders water and asked to change it back to the bears game. They did. Being a commanders fan, I got annoyed. Old man said he been there for an hour but he only been there for 5 mins. Not making no scene, I quietly grab my beer and went to another side where they were showing the commanders game. In a minute, i get a tap on my shoulder by the manager saying i got to go. I asked why?? Because they said i looked mad. I said because i didnt want to sit next to the annoying old man, l went to this side where they are showing the Commanders game. Yall kicking me out?? What a JOKe. That manager looked like he been drinking heavy the previous night. Didnt want to come into work. No really good explanation why i am being kicked out. I been a Sunday customer for 3 years. Never have i been bullied here or any place for just grabbing my beer and moving to the another side.. 12/22/24 2:30pm whoever was the bar manager on this day needs to get demoted or fired!!!

Hated it here. Walked in Monday night to watch MNF, have some drinks and food. The place was empty, and we still couldn't get service, and we were sitting right at the bar. Once the server did come over she was so unapproachable! No greeting, no here's our specials nothing. She was too busy kekeing end of bar which I can only assume was a regular. I tried to over look it and we ordered a drink. She couldn't even drop our drinks off with a smile, the ambiance was also cold and uninviting for us. Needless to say we chugged the drink and left!!!

The Brix provided an excellent brunch experience; they serve unlimited Mimosas depending on the time that are really delicious, and the employees were extremely helpful in ensuring that our meal arrived on time and that our beverages were continuously swapped. The food there isn't the best, but for the price, I can say it was worthwhile. It is located in a beautiful area with plenty of things to do and events to attend, just a short walk from the beach. I would definitely return here for a fun Sunday afternoon.

Visiting my son in Jacksonville and went to watch the Notre Dame Ohio State championship game. It was very crowded, but that's what you would expect for this kind of a game standing at the bar. We wanted to order Guinness only to find out they no longer had any how can you be sold out during one of the most prominent games in the college football league Huge disappointment. During the game the new president elect gave him 92nd spot and during this time is when the DJ decided to turn the music up so we couldn't even hear the new president a lot speak totally disrespectful will not be back.

I love Brix! I have been here probably 4 times and the food is always good. They have different food deals everyday as well as a daily happy hour. The service is just ok but I enjoy the vibes and location. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating but it does get busy so be mindful of that.

Wish we could have experienced this awesome restaurant but our first impression sadly put an end to our visit before it started. We were met in the parking lot and told that parking would be $20 and that we would receive a credit to our bill. This was shocking during off season when parking is easy to come by. We left and went to Salt Life were they don't charge you to park for lunch in their restaurant

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Same as my last visit we were blown away by the food. Menu was huge with all kinds of options. Opted for the fish sandwhich (no bread) and a huge filet came out on the plate! Nacho cheese was reported to be a little different than expected but still good. Service was stellar! Will def come back to try some other menu items!

We were in the area and looking for a place to stop in and have a light meal and some drinks. I knew of Brix but had not been here. We sat at the outside bar and had a great experience. The bartender was great and very personable. My wife had a strawberry mule and I had a draft I-10. The mule was delicious and my beer was cold. We had the southwest egg rolls and shared the Brix Burger. The egg rolls come with 6 and they were delicious. The dipping sauce added to the flavor. We shared the burger and it was more than enough. We added provolone cheese, bacon, grilled onions and jalapeños. They are each $1 extra. They made the burger and they give you more than you need so the dollar is worth it. We upgraded our fries to garlic Parmesan. They were delicious as well and there was more than enough to share. The bacon was cooked perfectly and honestly this was one of the best burgers I have had in Jacksonville. There is both inside and outside seating and lots of televisions. Lots of people were arriving to watch the Jaguars game. It looks like a great place to watch the game! There is some on street parking which we were lucky to find. There is an adjacent lot that charges $20. However, if you eat at Brix and show your ticket they will take $20 off of your bill so it is covered. We love places to watch sports, eat good food and have cold drinks so we will definitely be back. I recommend Brix Taphouse as a great place to chill, eat, drink, and watch sports.

Great food! Loved the outdoor seating! We will definitely eat there again if we find ourselves in JAX beach!
