I can't say anything nice about this meal. This was not American barbecue or anything close to it. This is just a dumbing down of America's taste buds to the creepiest possible version of what barbecue used to be and should be. Don't eat here.

Ordered take out last night, service was quick, staff was friendly, food not so great. 1949 burger was thin and severely undercooked, cold in the middle. Fries were decent, small portion. Large pulled pork plate had a nice amount of pork, very dry not much flavor other than smokey. Wings were average, smokey flavor, skin not crispy. They definitely missed the mark on this one. $53 for the three meals.

There's a reason why Bono's has been around since 1949. As soon as you enter one of its many locations you're hit with a smoky aroma of meats prepped by the pit master. I ordered a small pulled pork platter for $9.99 and the portion was so generous! It came with two sides (I got green beans and sweet potatoes) and garlic toast. The pork wasn't dry at all and if you squeeze some of that 1949 original sauce on the pile of meat, it becomes finger-licking delicious! I made a makeshift dessert with my sweet potatoes by lathering it with the cinnamon spread that came with the dish. So good!I'm giving an extra shout out to the staff because they were so accommodating and hospitable!Extra Tip: Offers military discount of 10% off!

Had the beef brisket lunch today and it was fantastic! (Not a great pic on my part, I forgot and started eating before I took the photo) It was juicy, tender and had a great smoky BBQ flavor. The portion size was very generous, too! I took home leftovers for my pup. The service and food at this location are always over the top. The staff is friendly, welcoming, fast and efficient. The owner usually pops his head out to say hello and thank you, as he did today. Definitely give Bono's a visit if you're nearby.

The food is cold the slices of meat are from a good part of the brisket not very fatty. but the wait time in the drive through is so long for them to give you cold meat. sauces are okay but for the price they are stingy with the rations. the ambiance is alright.

Tonight was our second bad experience with this location. First time was a sit down visit where the server was anxious to tell us that the kitchen was screwing up everything...and she was right. This time we made a togo order and when we got home the items we ordered were changed. Called to speak to the manager and the young girl on the phone asked me to hold and then came back several minutes later and tried to disguise her voice...when she knew I was on to her she hung up on me....called back and she said she was scared and shaking by the way I was talking to her. I told her I would not be talking to her if she would let me speak to the manager as I asked. Finally James came on the line and said she was a young cashier and it was all they could hire cause no one wanted to work...he said I could come back and pick up my items or he could credit me...I will take my BBQ needs to someplace else.
