Bono’s Pit Bar-B-Q

Bono's is one of my favorite places to go for lunch in Fleming Island. I'm normally a chicken fingers with ranch girl, but today they had a Thanksgiving Feast special that I couldn't pass up! It was delicious! The service is always great and I love the comfortable atmosphere.

This was my first time ordering pulled pork in Fleming Island. I picked Bono's as they were very close and I was hoping to turn this into my go-to bbq place. I was surprisingly disappointed. As far as the delivery through Door Dash- very fast! But, I believe I know why it was so fast. I opened the bag and immediately saw that the sauce I ordered was not in the bag. I was hoping for some spicy sauce to give it extra zing, but I assume Bono's figured I didn't really want it or couldn't be bothered to include it. I opened the container. Keep in mind less than 15 minutes passed between the order and delivery. It was cold. Not warm, cold. On top of that, it was nothing but crumbly pulled pork that looked like it had been scraped out of the bottom of a pan which had been sitting for some time. The finale to this glorious disaster was the pork was not only cold, but dry and flavorless. I'm wondering if I just caught them on a bad night, or they simply don't care because I find it hard to believe anyone would crave bbq from there. Perhaps it's different if you dine in, but as far as for me ordering delivery ever again, I will have to go with someone else. This was just not good in any way and I think it was a complete lack of effort to provide good food. As a disabled veteran that frequently orders delivery due to my inability to always get out to dine, I do not trust Bono's to deliver a quality product.

Our server was super sweet! She was very attentive. The food came out super fast and was very tasty ! Great 4th of July lunch!

If I could give a 1 star, I would. The waitress brought me out burnt ribs. I asked her if all the ribs were like that, so the waitress brought me 2 uncooked ribes and took the 3 burnt ribs back to the kitchen. The chicken was uncooked as well. I ordered sweet potato fries but I received regular fries. The waitress brought out a order of sweet potato fries with no flavor that appeared to have been sitting for a while and warmed up in the microwave. The waitress knew I wasn't happy with my meal and never went to go get a manager or ask me how could she make up for my bad experience. I use to go here all of the time when the food was very delicious. They will never get a dime from me ever again.

Just had lunch at Bobo's Bar-B-Q @ 2pm and it certainly was busy. Our first time there and I must say Everything was EXCELLENT! We were seated immediately and both the Hostess and Waitress were Outstanding. I ordered Brisket & Pulled Pork my husband had Brisket & Ribs. Excellent Bar-B-Que and sides and Absolutely a lot of food. I Must say we Really enjoyed it All. We definitely will go back as it is now one of our Favorite places!!

The flavors are incredible!First timer very delicious. I got the small brisket plate with baked beans and potato salad. Yummy! Definitely recommend. Husband and I really enjoyed it! Also they offer drive thru service. Amazing

I haven't been to a bbq place in a really long long time. I am always smelling that good smoked bbq while working in this area and so I had to go ahead and finally get a plate. I ordered a large rib plate with 2 sides. You get 6 ribs in the large. The ribs tasted just as good as it smelled! I love that smokey flavor and they were very tender. My two sides were collard greens and coleslaw. The collard greens had a different flavor than what I'm used to but, they were sooo good! I loved the flavor! The coleslaw, not so much. It was really sour. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if it had gone bad but, I like sweet coleslaw and that wasn't it. I got my food pretty fast, within 10 minutes. The place is clean, the employees were nice. Would have gave 5 star if it wasn't for the slaw. I will definitely come back though! Looking forward to trying the smoked wings next!

we tried to call but no response , therefore we we ordered from Mojos. We willNot order from Bono's anymore -I can understand their rating of 3 or less.Rick

If you eat in the food is good. If you order takeout don't be surprised at dried out chicken,cold toast and soup for coldslaw.

My boyfriend and I came to Bono's for lunch, and we were very impressed with the customer service. Carlos helped us pick our food and was very friendly and helpful, we were very surprised and will definitely be coming back in the near future! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!
