This place is ADORABLE! My dad came in to town the other weekend to celebrate my birthday and he loves to tinker with wood. So when I came across this place I thought it would be perfect for him! It was my husband, my 76 year old father, and me. We each picked VERY different projects. We were place at a table with another group of two. The person that was assigned to our table to help us was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us while we were all overwhelmed with the endless options.I love how customizable everything is, wow. And it's nice because if you start picking weird things/colors then your table assistant will let you know. We all had a blast and even my dad learned some new techniques to bring home to his wood working. We all love our projects and I'm definitely ready to go back! 10/10 would recommend!

Highly recommend! This place is too cool! I have been to other paint it yourself places but I actually liked Board and Brush better! First it starts online you have to go pick your project you want to make, and they had a ton to pick from, you need to pick ahead of time so they can make the stencil you will be using personalized for you. When we showed up we were greeted warmly and they had our area ready to go, you can byob and had snacks and drinks available if you wanted them.We started by texturing our wood, then picked what color to stain it, then finally what color to paint the stencil, all really fun especially while drinking! ;) Totally love how mine turned out and that's it's functional, I'll put a plant in it!

Board & B rush is an incredibly fun time out. Perfect for girls' nights, date nights, parties, or corporate events. My group opted to go on a Thursday night, for Paint Your Own Project (PYOP). We had six women in the group, and we each pre-paid and selected our projects. When we arrived, our signs, stencils, and aprons were waiting for us on a dedicated table. Owner Beth welcomed us, and Melissa was the team member assigned to helping us out. She confirmed that all our stencils were correct, and then left us to our Bring Our Own wine and snacks. At the start of the assigned time, Beth reviewed directions, and then left us to work. She paused us every so often to give instructions along the way, and then we filled the time with distressing, staining, and painting. All of us were so thrilled with our completed projects, and I can't wait to go back!

I've always wanted to do a DIY wood sign workshop but it's always too pricey. While browsing through social media I stumbled across a $10 off discount from this company and thought this would be a perfect time to try it out. I decided to make it a Girls Night Out and invited some friends who were interested in joining. Four of us signed up online and chose what design and project we wanted to make. This particular location allows you to bring your own wine, beer and light snacks! What's even awesome is they provided the paper products (cups, plates, napkins), complimentary water & soda! How nice is that! When entering the building, I was amazed with the all the examples strewn across the walls. It was a little intimidating seeing all the beautiful designs. Each group had their own table along with an assistant that helped with whatever you needed. I must say that this place was extremely clean and very well organized. Our table was already prepared with the planks of unfinished wood pieces and tools we needed to build our project. The instructor/owner Beth was very thorough and patient while teaching us step by step on what we needed to do. We actually used hammers & power drills to put our project together. We also stained and/or painted our masterpiece any color we chose. So many options but a whole lotta fun! In the end I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of my project. You don't have to be Ty Pennington to take a class like this. You should try it! I guarantee you'll surprise yourself!
