Blue Orchid Thai Cuisine

Phenomenal Thai cuisine with so many options to choose from!My husband and I enjoy eating at Blue Orchid whenever he wants to take me out for lunch of the weekday. It's in Riverside area and the service is so fast I'm able to grab lunch and ve back in the office within an hour (which is the time frame of my lunch break).The server is attentive to detail. We had speedy service on Valentine's Day which is no easy feat. My husband and I always order the same meal each time we go and often times change it up.We typically share a chicken pad Thai. We order 2 appetizers the crab Rangoon and Thai summer rolls with shrimp and extra peanut sauce. My husband always gets a smocked old fashion while I get a tall glass of their famous Thai tea. Hope you all enjoy!

My man made reservations for us to eat dinner here on Valentine's Day night. The place of course was pretty busy which is to be expected. We were seated after 30mins of reservation time which was at 9:15 We didn't receive entrees until about 11:45. The waitress came out apologizing to everyone in the room about the wait and that they are pushing their kitchen staff to get the food out as quick as possible. I ended up getting food poisoning a couple hrs after I left eating here. I didn't eat anything prior to coming here or afterwards. I was vomiting/diarrhea the entire night/day as well. I could not stomach anything. I had sweats and chills through out the whole day and it ruined my entire weekend. I contacted the restaurant to let the manager know about my experience and she said she apologizes but also made a rebuttal stating the kitchen checks temperatures twice a day and food be is prepped fresh daily every morning to prevent that. But she did nothing to reprimand my personal issue. Tbh i didn't even want to try to eat here again after getting so sick because I never had food poisoning before until this place. I am literally scared to try new places now. But if the manager had at least attempted to try and make it right or offer a partial refunded due to this experience I probably would have left a better review because at least she would have made it right!My date spent 150 + it was a waste of money after it was all said and done and had to throw out the rest of the food.

Got to sit outside today (74°). The food was delicious and our server Sheena was so attentive without always interrupting. She was always on the move. We got the roti with panang curry to start. I got the hot musaman curry with tofu and white rice. To me, it was all worth the price. I'd probably go spicier next time. The hubs got pepper steak stir fry with fried rice and would get it again. With the weather being so nice, sit outside. The ambiance is serene. Although it's also beautiful inside.

This restaurant was beautifully designed and decorated, I really enjoyed the ambiance inside and on the well-lit back patio. It's nice that Blue Orchid has outdoor seating as well.I ordered drunken noodles, and I was disappointed by how it was a little dry and bland. I'm used to eating very flavorful Thai food that's covered in sauce, but this was not the case. However, the Tom Yum soup was delicious! It was savory, a little sweet and a little sour. I'd recommend it! The drinks were pretty strong, you can definitely taste the rum in each cocktail. Not bad overall! Our waitress was also very friendly. This is a nice atmosphere to spend with friends.

Great location, nice ambiance, professional and friendly staff. The food I chose taste phenomenal! I had to let my waitress know how good her recommendation of the chicken and rice soup was. I've never had such light tasting and seasoned chicken and Jasmine rice. I was also glad she recommended the lunch menu because I still had to ask for a take home box(yes it was paper).My entree was the glass noodles with mixed seafood. It was soooo good, the noodles by themselves were seasoned, like just the noodles, but when mixed with the veggies and seafood it made my eyes flutter. I also ordered the Thai tea, it was sweet condensed milk with black tea mixed. It was a bit sweet and too milky tasting for me. I got it because I'd never had it before and wanted to try something new. I like trying new foods and drinks.I've already told my sister, when she comes for New Year we have to go together! She likes different cultural foods too.Do I recommend Blue Orchid? Yes, I highly recommend you go and taste it for yourself. Know that it's $$, but you definitely get what you pay for. Your taste buds will thank me.

Amazing location near the river make this a great place to visit just for the patio area. A well stocked bar and some tasty food are definitely reasons to stay. This restaurant has some creative mixed drinks and the food is no joke either. Wait staff was very attentive, 4 star only because im not a fan of greenbeans yet they were all over the drunken noodles so they weren't t my favorite but will definitely come back!!

Nice interior and decor. But their outside patio is where it's at. Just make sure you pick the right day and time to eat outside or the Florida heat will toast you. The wife and I got lucky coming here on a busy day and fortunate enough to be seated right away outside. The nice outside breeze felt nice while we ate really set the tone for an enjoyable chow time. Food Impressions:- Definitely try their NEW Starter items. The Roti with Panang Curry (5/5) as well as The Son-In-Law Eggs (5/5) were delicious.- Phad Thai w/ chicken (3/5): As much as I have had Phad Thais, this did not hit the thumbs up for me. It lacked flavor in comparison to most Phad Thai I've had - Ginger Stir Fry w/ sliced chicken (5/5): Tasted nice and fresh. I would order this again and again- Panang Curry (5/5): I opted for Heat 3 and it was made to perfection. It was delicious and I ate every bit of what was served. - Thai Fried Rice (4/5): It was good, but not great enough to wow my palate.Menu/Pricing (3/5): It's abit on the pricier side in terms of regular menu items. Additionally expect to pay more when you start opting to add "Premium Protein items" such as Beef, Shrimp or Scallops. For example, Blue Orchid's Phad Thai starts at $20 with standard protein of choice. But if you opted to add Scallops per say (a Premium Protein), it'll cost an additional $14. Your $20 Phad Thai is now $34. Ask for Devon. 5 STAR service. We have had the pleasure being served by Devon each time we came here to eat. He was great and very attentive.Bonus note...Blue Orchid Thai Cuisine sits just steps away from Memorial Park, which makes it a great post-eats place to burn off some calories.

Blue Orchid definitely is one of the best Thai restaurants in town for sure. We ordered Tom Kha coconut curry, Shrimp volcano and Thai Basil Fried Rice. The flavors are really amazing with fresh ingredients in each dish. The manager stopped by to make sure our experience was wonderful too and recommended the crispy noodles curry to try as one of their specials. A very special shout-out to Zachary our server, who had exceptional service and followed up with us after each dish was served. He attended to all of our needs and was very knowledgeable with all the menu items and helping us select our dishes. The ambience was beautiful inside, excellent service and the food tasted really awesome. Lots of parking space available at Atlantic Boulevard location. Overall an AMAZING experience and will definitely revisit again! Ask for Zachary for your waiter, he was just great we would give him 5 + stars

We had a wonderful dining experience from the minute we walked in the door to a warm greeting and being immediately seated, to when we walked out the door which the host opened for us and thanked us for dining with them. Our server was Jacob and he was a true professional. He even left a card with his name which was a very nice touch. We ordered Phad Thai with a 3 spice level and vegetables with chicken with a 2 spice level. The food was out very quickly. The spice level was a bit more than expected, but excellent. I failed to ask, but heard another server tell the next table their levels are 1-4 and we were expecting 1-5. However, we didn't ask or check the menu. The Thai tea was delicious and very creamy. For dessert we ordered the Thai tea infused crème brûlée and it was absolutely fabulous. A very generous portion with was more than enough for two. The decor was absolutely charming. Very warm with a delightful array of artwork and very unique pieces. We will definitely return as it was a pleasure dining here.

The service was great. The ambiance was nice. The music was at a pleasant level. Background music that didn't interfere with conversation.Crab Rangoon was delicious. My husband had wonton soup and I got a taste. It too was wonderful.He got the fried rice and I got the blue orchid pad Thai. The dish's presentation was beautiful and other than the lobster tail the rest of my food was wonderful.The lobster tail was extremely tough and absolutely no flavor plus difficult to cut or chew so I left the majority of that lobster tail behind. I highly recommend their pad Thai but not the dish with the lobster.
