They have some of the best pizza I've ever had. We sat at the bar and even though they were short staffed (we arrived right as they opened) our bartender was awesome. She was very attentive, sweet, funny, we had a good time hanging out with her. 10/10 recommend

Generally crowded, loud, and tight seating. The pizza, when on point, is very good. Great, unique pies from the menu or standard create your own. The calzones are well priced and big portions... plus they are very good. There's a reason this place is always crowded. Well, there's a couple... first being limited quality places in the area. Second being that it's good and people keep coming back.If you eat in the restaurant, there's some new fees they've added to the bill for covering employee health and other costs. In addition, you're still expected to tip and their systems calculate the tip percentage after those fees as well (which is kind of petty). Honestly, they should just slightly increase that fee and get rid of tipping. But ending the meal feeling nickel and dimed is a downer. If you get take-out, the extra fees are not included and the pricing is competitive with far lesser quality choices. Very good value.

Herbed tuscan fries were hot, but could use something extra to make them more flavorful, maybe truffle oil. The pizza is okay, nothing different or impressive , but good enough for a quick meal. Their outdoor patio is a huge win, and their staff is so friendly and attentive!

I have been coming here for years and of course Friday night cravings kicked in for a pizza and a night in. My mom ordered a BBQ chicken pizza for takeout that was hand tossed to go and said it took about 30 mins. When it reached out kitchen, it was fresh and pipping hot. This pizza is consist of sweet BBQ and pizza sauce, sliced chicken breast, red onion, mozzarella, and my favorite cheese smoked Gouda. It's garnished with cilantro and drizzled with that sweet BBQ sauce. When I say this is one of my favorite pizzas, I truly mean it. The crust is crunchy and soft and has that cornmeal dust on the bottom on the pizza. It's so good and light where I almost forget how many slices I shove in my mouth. The sliced chicken on top of the pizza are pretty decent size and not overcooked - it remains pretty chewy and juicy. The pizza has a great cheese pull due to the combo of the mozzarella and gouda. The pizza serves up to 2-3 people but I think for the price it is overpriced for Gainesville. However, if you want a good quality pizza with robust flavors - definitely check out Blue Highway!

I have to say the ingredients and everything tasted fresh. The pie looks great, until you try to lift it out of the box. I'm not sure if this is just their Sicilian pie or I came a bit late in the evening right around when they were closing. However, the pizza was simply just undercooked. It was a mess. This is my first time here, so maybe another experience will be different for a New York style. Or maybe you have to request for the pizza to be "well done" which I forgot to do. Overall, I heard great things about this place, but it was a disappointment. Hopefully it'll taste better when I reheat it tomorrow ?

We have been coming here for years and love it. Staff is always great, even when they are extremely busy they always take care of us. They offer fresh salads with different homemade dressings. Variety of specialty pizza hand-toss, Sicilian style and cauliflower crust. Of course we sometimes go with our own creations with our favorite toppings. Each time it's made perfectly to order. The pasta and soup dishes are some of my favorites. Especially, the monthly special's. They some up with some great flavors. You won't be disappointed at Blue Highway. They have something for everyone.

I'm a woman who believes in a balanced diet - a beer in one manicured hand, and a slice (or more) of pizza in the other. Classy, I know! And here in Gainesville, one of my fave pizza spots has got to be Blue Highway! With two locations in the city and right on the outskirts, there's space for all to enjoy a slice! With an extensive menu that gives you major variety without being overwhelming, I feel like each bite I've experienced at Blue Highway has been a W. With delicious pizza varieties like buttery Cedar Key Clams, roasted vegetables, or even flavorful shrimp, I'm all for a bougie pizza!! The crust is always crispy and piping-hot pulled fresh from their oven - truly love at first bite! Not a pizza lover? (We obvs can't be friends *sideeye* lol) Check out their absolutely amazing wings, salads and more options made with some local love. Blue Highway, thank you for making every visit my own little pizza party!

Last night on July 19, I went to Blue Highway, after not going for a year. After a 30+ minute wait, after being told it'd be 20, turns out they forgot to notify us that our table was ready. Then the server was by far the worst interaction with a server I've experienced. Matthew was rude from the beginning, took a long time to come take our orders, bring us anything. I know my pizza sat at the window because the cheese was already hardening.Upon receiving my receipt, I saw a "service charge for 3%" I asked about it and made a comment to my table that things like that should be illegal because it's a surprise after you've already had the food. The server got very defensive, keep in mind I wasn't saying it to him and he became condescending. After I pay, he stands beside me and pulls up my tip, says "Oh Woooow" I ignored that. Then as I was leaving, he says "That's not cool" I turned around and said "because you received a $5 tip?" He responds very snarky about it. I'm sorry but you are not required to tip 20+% especially when the service isn't great and comes with a side of attitude. I regret giving him anything at all after seeing how he acted. Then I ask for a manger, he storms on slamming doors AND DOESN'T GET THE MANAGER. I go up to two woman standing at the check-in stand and ask for one of them to get the manager. Turns out one of them is the manager, she was standing 7 feet away. So, I know she heard at least some of this while I was mentioning to my friends I was going to wait for him to get the manager. She apologized and gave me a $25 gift card. However, after this interaction, I'm not sure I can even come back to this location. I have never, NEVER, experienced anything like this from a place of business. Keep in mind, I was in a group and my friends tipped generously, even though, it wasn't deserved for his service.Matthew needs some better training on how to just walk away from a table and keep his attitude behind closed doors.
