Bite a Bagel

This place is my go to for bagels. It gets REAL busy on the weekends, but worth the sit. Staff is also super friendly. They do have some tables, but I always get to go. Best bagels I've had in the area by far.

I've been going to Bite a Bagel since it opened. I'm originally from New York and this place is legit the best place in North Florida (possibly the whole south) to get bagels. Service is great but understand they get very busy on the weekend and holidays. So expect to wait. Order ahead because they sell out all the time. My only critique is that for some reason the owners opt to make their ham egg and cheese sandwiches in the New Jersey pork roll style. Go thinner on the ham!

After reading negative reviews, we opted to try this nearby bagel place anyway. We read about long waits and bad service, so when a friendly cashier quickly got our order together, we were delighted. There was barely any wait on this late Saturday morning. There were also warnings on the wall that wait times may be long - so they do acknowledge it may be a part of your experience. The bagels and cream cheese were moderately priced and pretty delicious. I had an Asiago with jalapeño cream cheese, my husband had Asiago with bacon cheddar (yummy and smoky), and my daughter had chocolate chip. We all enjoyed are heavily cream cheesed creations. I got the flavored coffee which was like Jamaican coconut or something. It was really good. Not super strong but typical taste of flavored coffees. (Think Panera's hazelnut). Also the staff seemed chipper and busy. It was a casual vibe with a little outside seating. We will certainly be back!

7/5 10:30am and no bagels! Seriously- this is a bagel store. This is why I travel 20-30 minutes elsewhere to actually get a bagel.

Great bagels and friendly staff. I am just passing through on business; I am happy I chose this little bagel shop along my route.

These bagels are extremely fluffy, doughy, starchy, and filling- just how I like them! My favorite is the sesame seed but the everything is a close runner up. They have an outstanding selection of cream cheese, I enjoy the scallion cream cheese or the veggie cream cheese as an upgrade to my usual lox bagel. Whenever I'm craving a New York style bagel, this is the first place that comes to mind. The bread is fresh and fluffy!

I went to Bite a Bagel today and ordered a dozen bagels, six cheese and six pumpernickel. I was told that you get a baker's dozen and asked for additional pumpernickel. Upon arriving home I went to package the bagels to freeze and use as needed. I had only received nine bagels. I called the store and after speaking with the person who answered the telephone was told that the manager would be right with me. The managers name was Nellie. I repeated the story to Nellie and was told the bagels would be replaced when I come back the next time. FINE! Then I was told the the person who took care of me said he gave me what I had asked for. Do you think I would make a stink over four bagels? Very poor customer service on the part of the manager!

For some odd reason, I have never once visited this shop since I moved around this area in 2005 til this day. My manager was amazed and told me to try it this weekend. And so, I did. Lol.Came here with my sister and the shop was quite busy, but not hectic. Opened the door and smelled the great fresh coffee and bagels. Nice and cute decor and the staff were friendly. We ordered:- Everything bagel w/Lox Spread- 1/2 dozen bagels (blueberry, 2 asiagos, 2 wheats and a garlic) The lox spread was amazing and I love savory tastes. Based on their website, lox is raw sugar cured smoked salmon. This cream cheese spread was also mixed with capers, scallops and a hint of lemon. The family enjoyed the bagels as well. I recommend this place and would love to revisit again and try their hot bagel menu and coffee.

Witnessed a real jackass customer today at local Bite a Bagel and manager handled it like a total pro. Great fresh bagels, always busy which means great quality and top notch small business owner/manager! Hopefully that classless jerk is turned away next time.

Love this place, not only are they nice people that make great food at a fair price, they threw some extra bacon in my to go bag for my dog. How sweet.They also make a great pastrami breakfast sandwich.
