I really wish I enjoyed my food more but unfortunately I was let down. I went with the Best Shroom N Swiss with Fries. First off everything was so expensive. The Burger was $12 and then Fries were $4 more. With tax and tip my meal became just over $19. I was also let down that the fries were just regular fries and not Curly Fries since that was what I had seen on yelp. I burger was just kind of plain tasting too. Not a lot of seasoning. I was also I the dry side I know they cook their burgers only medium well but this burger was well done. The good was that my food was ready pretty quickly and the people working their were very nice. Though I will probably not come back here for my burger fix.

Wow. I just had the Cajun Gold BBQ burger and it was delicious. I NEVER eat the whole burger. Usually I cut it in half, eat one side with the bun and then just the other half patty. This one? I ate whole, every drop. So let me describe this burger...perfectly seasoned patty, super soft buttered bun, just the right amount of BBQ sauce to add tang, thick cut tasty bacon, a nice slab of smoked cheddar cheese and crispy onions. Oh my. This burger is just the right mouthful. I am disappointed in myself that I didn't get the fries or something else, my guess is that it would be awesome too!!The only thing keeping it from a 5 Star review is the service. I was the only one in line (wasn't quite lunch time) and the gentleman just wasn't friendly at all. One of my favorite things about food trucks is the personality of the owners or the folks working there. They clearly believe in their product and are passionate about it. Not this guy but it could have been an off day...and quite frankly, I forgive him based on the deliciousness of the burger!

I've been wanting to try this truck for a while and today finally provided that opportunity. The good:Cooked-to-orderWell seasoned beefFresh veggiesThe not so good:$9 for a burger? and another $4 for fries? OuchBun was not toastedContainer was too smallThe meat had great flavor but I didn't really taste their "best burger sauce." Maybe I should have asked for extra but my wallet may not have been able to afford it. Having looked at other previous pictures and reviews, it looks like the bun has changed from 6 months ago and it also looks like they used to toast their buns. That is a pet peeve of mine because if you are charging me $9 (apparently used to be $10 from previous pics) for a regular burger, toast the bun - or at least ask if I want it toasted. The curly fries were good and my taste buds tell me they are using "Slap Yo' Mama" seasoning - it's like an old bay with more salt and spice - they were good. They are using half sized containers so I guess that gives the impression that the burger is bigger than it is and the fries are bursting out of the container. I would take half the fries for half the price and give me a container that doesn't feel like everything is hanging out of it.The menu lists a "bottle" of soda for $2 but they are selling 12 oz cans so that should give you an idea of their pricing structure. One person who was waiting actually asked about that and the woman taking orders didn't really provide much of an explanation. The milkshake machine was broken 8 months ago per previous reviews and today it's still broken. Looks like there really isn't a plan to get that fixed. Then again, it would probably be a $9 milkshake.Probably more of a 3 star for food but the prices takes 1 away. I guess I'm stuck on the fact that I paid $15 - with tip - for a burger and fries today - and no drink. They may need to re-evaluate the competition from other Jacksonville trucks as there are too many other options with better food at a MUCH better price.

This is my first visit to Best Burgers food truck and once I got over the sticker shock I put in my order. For a $10 burger which doesn't include a side I expect a pretty perfect burger. The $7 queso and bacon fries were good but the cheese wasn't really queso. They added jalapeño so that was a nice touch. My daughter had the American and said it was the best burger ever. I had the mushroom Swiss. It was really good, cooked perfectly. My only suggestion would be to slice up the onions more for a better bite. The bun was very good and one of the things I judge for a perfect burger. Total cost for two burgers, fries and a water $35Was it the best burger I've ever had? No but it was the best I've had in this area! I will try it again.

These guys put together a really tasty burger: nicely cooked but still a little pink in the center and hot all the way through.I got to try them when they visited our office location: the burgers are fantastic but the overall execution needs a little work.I arrived long before the lunch rush, but food turnover was slow and they were already out of a lot of items. They took my burger order (Mushroom Swiss with sweet potato fries) but didn't take payment or ask my name. Thankfully my Mum raised me right and I alerted them to this as soon as I had the chance. They called out burger types and not names when ready, leading to confusion when multiple people were waiting for the same burger.Long after placing my order and making payment, I was then told that they were out of sweet potato fries (which were still up on the board), but they replaced with curly fries and made it right by offering to reimburse me.These gentlemen produce some really, really tasty burgers and curly fries good enough to eat without sauce. However, they need to tweak their internal process a little to make sure they don't miss payments or muddle orders.

I really wanted to have a food truck at my wedding and was having a ton of trouble getting in contact with any trucks. Best Burgers got back to me really quickly and was super attentive to all my needs. They helped my plan out a great menu at a really affordable price. They provided drinks and utensils too and took the whole mess away with them when they left. Easiest wedding food option ever. I could not have been happier. Everyone loved the burgers and fries!I would definitely recommend working with Best Burgers to have delicious food served at your private event.

Attempted to eat here twice. First time we waited 20 minutes with barely anyone in line. After 20 minutes they let the first customers know their system is down and they couldn't take credit cards. Sorry. They were in our neighborhood a second time so my husband gave it another shot. After another long wait with little movement in the line, he ordered and waited 30 minutes from when he ordered. I understand that they are made to order but to what extent? The stars are for the food being decent but the frustration of customer service was noticeable by all.

Well, he claims to be the best burger in jax. Hard to be the best burger in jax when you run out of your title.....burgers. We had an event in our neighborhood from 5-8. We waited for the crowds to disperse...about 720. We walked up and guess what he was out of.....yep....burgers. Pretty disappointing. One of the reasons we waited was because the wait times were so long. Oh well, guess we will have to wait for another time to have the "best burger in jax".

The service was terrible... that might have been due to there only being one person in the food truck at all. I was ignored for 5 mins before he would even acknowledge me standing there to take my order. Apparently you can only order your burger one temp medium well which is more like burnt and dead. I couldn't eat it (wasting half my meal) and I also ordered sweet potato fries. Which is the only reason I'm giving this place any stars. They were very delicious. But this meal cost $17.50 and I threw half of it in the trash which is horrible. No one should pay even close to this for lunch and have it be nasty and throw it away. My co-workers also had my the horrible idea of getting thier lunch there today needless to say pretty sure if they are back at urban food court ever we will pass. Do not waste your money unless you like to eat very burnt, over cooked and dry burgers.

two stars, and they only get that because the burger was AMAZING. However, they showed up at my boyfriends work (as food trucks do, every day) He figured he would grab some, meet me for lunch, and still have plenty of time. (i'm less than ten minutes from his work) How wrong he was. Two burgers, and two drinks.( no fries because they ran out) 38$ and a 42 minute wait. With nobody else in line. He had to come drop it off to me, and go back and eat at his desk. Burger was good, but spending quality lunch breaks with my boyfriend is better. He says he'll give it another shot. I would too, but only if service improves.
