Great experience for lunch.Casual spot, great service, food was good.I don't think you will ever use their menu, as being from a cordon blue chef. But there are times when you just want a good steak and a sack, a good burger, or a great sandwich. All of those you will find here along with friendly service , and a clean dining room.

Quick little lunch stop. Great wings! Fast genuine kind service. Very polite and nice prices. Great ambience. Tiny spot but well worth returning. We live in orange park but will be back. I can see why they still have 5 stars. For the price. Best banana pudding in jax

Benchwarmers Diner is one of those Hidden Gems we like to Mention to our foodie friends and anyone who asks about good food in Jacksonville Florida. The Prices are Affordable, and the Portions are Filling too! If you hate being treated like instant family when you walk in the door or being asked if you're enjoying your food by the staff & owner, well you probably won't like it here. I encourage anyone who is looking for a new Spot for Breakfast or Lunch to come to Benchwarmers Cafe and Let them Know Big Rich Sent Ya

For what it is, solid service and food. I had the corned beef breakfast bowl which was very good and served promptly. I would not hesitate to come back for breakfast or to try a burger for lunch. It's a classic greasy spoon which is always a better option in my opinion than mass produced fast food.

Good morning Bookers and lookers.. guess what I found this morning? I found the absolutely awesome breakfast spot in all of Jacksonville, Beachwarmers Cafe! Oo whew! They only open Monday through Friday and close after lunch. The cheesy grits are to die for. My fav is the corn beef hash. No one does it like Beachwarmers. The breakfast simply melts in your mouth. They are located at 3560 Phillips Highway off Emerson. This is no trick but an delectable treat. Indulge yourself!!

On the way home from our cruise, we were passing through Jacksonville and wanted to find something for lunch. I saw the reviews for Benchwarmers Café and hurried to get over before we missed the exit. As we walked in, we were instantly welcomed by the sweet lady behind the counter. We asked her that if she only had the chance to eat there once, what would she get. She recommended the burgers and cheesesteaks. Two of us got burgers, which were so delicious and topped with fresh fixings from local produce, one got wings that were crispy and cooked to perfection, and the other had chicken fingers. Everything tasted so good and just hit the spot! The restaurant had a great, friendly atmosphere and was very tidy and clean. The diner is decorated with a baseball motif that was very fun! All of the employees we encountered were super friendly and checked on us often. The men who made our meals came to see how everything was and see if we needed anything. Then, to top it all off, we had their banana pudding that they make in house. So delicious! Do not pass up Benchwarmers Café!
