I would highly recommend this breakfast spot, posing as a 90s cool diner. Bloody Mary's are good, the biscuits are perfection and the omelets are delish. The service was eh.....not the friendliest. I understand working in tourist towns can be difficult, but there were no smiles exchanged and I felt like a bother asking for anything from the bartenders. I'd overlook that for the food, music & vibes.

When it's 55 degrees with a 15 mph wind in St.Augustine what do you do? Well; I look for good food. As I was driving through Anastasia Island this place was packed. So naturally I stopped. I liked most everything about this place, a few things prevented this from bringing a 5 star review. I will acknowledge that in my world a 5 star review means that everything was perfect. First stop; the hostess stand, 25 minute wait at around lunchtime. We were sat in about 10, great start! Under promise over deliver. I love it. Waitstaff was friendly and able to answer questions about the menu, she recommended anything with chicken. More on this soon. This is a Diner, naturally the ambiance was a little generic, but that's just fine. It appeared clean and I loved the Christmas tree with all the foodie ornaments. So we will call it a win. I ordered the chicken and waffles. I did order it without the honey. It's a whole lot of food. The chicken was excellent, came out screaming hot, it was perfectly cooked. I loved the cornmeal it provided a hint of sweetness and it was well seasoned. An A+ on the feather front. The waffle may have been better if it was hotter. I envision the timing being the trick to getting this just right and they were screaming busy. The one critique I would give; the dish just needs one more component, The raw honey would have been too sharp a flavor contrast in my opinion. I get the honey; just not straight up. Maybe paired with another savory or smoky component (Pimenton) to take off the edge and complement the spice on the chicken. I did try one of their biscuits and it was very good. Let's talk about a few of the things that were not perfect. They sent out cold food to my dad, it happens when you're busy. It was handled perfectly by the waitstaff, we had a new one very quickly. Only 1 person can use the bathroom at a time. There was a line. Overall they did a great job, this place is an excellent value for the money and our waitress was tipped well. I would go back. Nice job

What a busy spot! Granted, we went on a holiday weekend, but I guarantee this place is like this all the time. It's a super cute spot right across from St. Augustine Beach. Parking is onsite, but kind of limited, so it's best to get there early if you're wanting to catch breakfast before going about a full day in town. We were told it would be about a 25 minute wait for a table for two. We only actually waited for about 10 minutes. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but since it was chilly, we chose to sit indoors. Our server was friendly and took our drink and food order within 5 minutes. My cappuccino was bitter, which was a disappointment, so I asked for a glass of water instead. My son ordered the Mickey Pancake with chocolate chips and I ordered a Classic Breakfast, which consisted of two eggs (your choice of style), your choice of bread, your choice of potatoes (home fries or hash browns), grits or salad. I went with over easy eggs, with white toast, hash browns and a side of bacon. The food took awhile to get to us: approximately 25 minutes. I was about to ask if we had been forgotten, when the food arrived. It was all cooked to perfection and tasted great. I would return, but probably on a lesser busier day of the week.

Busy classic diner on St Augustine Beach. We arrived around 10:45 and the diner was starting to get busier (we waited 15 minutes). They have juices, coffee, tea, bloody marys, prosecco and even spiked coffee. I ordered the spiked latte with kailua. For brunch I went with the avocado toast, which was really a piece of toast with sliced avocados and tomatoes with a side of pickled onions. Also ordered a side of cheesy hash brows, excellent!!!With good food and fast service this is a great brunch spot, just don't forget your spiked coffee ;)

Once again a great breakfast in a great restaurant walking distance from our place. The crab and shrimp crepes were amazing. The old timers had a half order of biscuits and gravy with bacon, eggs and fruit. It was delicious. The restaurant is a great place with really friendly staff.

As a local I remember this place from waaaay back to Barnacle Bills. I am familiar with the local owners other dining options and they certainly have the experience. The current Diner atmosphere with red stools & a collection of license plates is excellent. Staff are friendly & efficient. I had several small sides that I find are a good assessment and I was not disappointed. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the fresh fruit very fresh and a nice assortment; and the beignets -- small dippers for an orange marmalade sauce were excellent. I highly recommend an order for your table as a perfect breakfast appetizer. I look forward to sampling more of the menu. The coffee refills were also very timely!

Lovely outside seating for a breakfast spot. Dog friendly. We were here in a Sunday and had no wait to get in, however around 9:30 am it was packed. The food was wonderful. The crab and shrimp Benedict was my favorite and I would order again and again.

This place is fabulous! I've been here three times now and had wonderful experiences each time!! The servers were all dressed up, very bubbly friendly & happy, and excellent at taking care of our needs! The food was phenomenal. I ordered the Crab and Shrimp Benedict with home fries. I love it so much, it's my usual now!! You get generous, hearty portions of crab meat. Good seasonings. Eggs were cooked perfect. Hollandaise sauce was creamy and succulent. The homefries are made with baby potatoes and so crisp and flavorful! The place has a beachy diner feel vibe. Cute decor, they even have a cool jukebox! And they decorate the place really darling for the holidays They have tables inside and outside. It really is altogether lovely. Go check it out!

Cute little diner experience with awesome service and delicious food!! We had the smokehouse, the cracked egg chicken biscuit, and the chicken tenders. The smokehouse was just a traditional breakfast, the bacon was good and the eggs were well cooked, the house fries are baby potatoes fried and salted and very tasty, but the biscuit is a must have! All of the chicken is breaded in house and cooked to perfection, so if you are a chicken fan, order a dish with chicken. The sausage gravy is not too salty or overly creamy, it was delicious! The hashbrowns are bit buttery which wasn't our favorite, but still good. This is a must visit if you are in the St, Augustine area!!

The food was great, normal breakfast diner food options. Our waitress was really nice and attentive even though it was very busy!
