Beaches Aquatic Center

white woman stated it was only members only but yet has accepts visa / cc at the front door .she wouldn't even let me purchase a member or visitors pass - stated it was a "private pool" clearly she was being bias.i guess i was the wrong "color". for such a place y'all could really used the funds to give this lady a better attitude.

This swim club is great! The coaches know what they are doing and they really care about the athletes. They offer year round and summer swimming. They swim at fletcher high school.

Nice pool. Great location. Extremely passionate and dedicated staff. They have been helping us teach our youngest son to swim. Our son has special needs and they have been incredible working with him! Progress is coming fast. We signed up for courses last year for our youngest and he was not able to complete them. The staff graciously left our credit on file for more than a year and has been working with us this summer to train him to swim. They also offer lap swimming and other programs. If you are interested in doing anything regarding swimming and are at or around the beach definitely check this place out!

This pool is completely unsuitable for a grandmother with small children. There is no safe entry for a family. I requested a refund within 24 hours was refused initially and then the office manager demanded a doctors note, that I pay their bank fees, then wait 3 weeks for their "board" to review the request - though this was not disclosed up front. I found out later that the "board" is the office manager as president, his wife (the swim instructor) as treasurer and one other woman. After sending a certified letter requesting the refund and complaining at the BBB, I did receive a refund via check - but it took weeks and a ton of follow up. Don't go here with families.
