I stayed at the Sheraton, and ate here when my car battery died. I went directly to the bar, which the bartender greeted me. There was a special where you could have a simple well drink for about 8 dollars, so I took a bourbon and diet soda. When it was given, not only the bourbon was watered down, but also the soda. It was acceptable as it had a small buzz and still refreshing. I ordered the bbq chicken flatbread (11 dollars) for my food as I just wanted light food and was waiting for the tow truck driver as well. Thankfully it came quickly, but I made the mistake of eating a slice immediately. It was quite hot and I burned my mouth a bit when eating it. I waited some time and while the flatbread was piping hot, the flavors didn't work that right. I tasted mostly bbq sauce, even though there was some chicken and corn as toppings. It was filling and fair for the price. The next day, I had a mule for 8 dollars as well. It was refreshing, but watered downed too. I couldn't complain much as the prices were reasonable for this hotel. My bartender was good and friendly. The food came quick, which I appreciated. I mostly talked to other patrons at the bar, and the dining area wasn't crowded at all. There was outdoor seating as well in the back patio, and I remember seeing a connect four game to play. For a hotel restaurant, I found the food and drinks to be acceptable for the price. It was nothing extraordinary, but fair. I would really give this 3.5 stars out of 5, but rounding up because I am biased in favor of the Marriott chains. While I would rather fine at other local restaurants, I would visit again for a quick bite at the hotel.

My review for takeout only:I arrived late in th evening after a long day of flying and was too tired to find another food establishment. After checking in and dropping off my bags, I went to the hotel's restaurant to grab some dinner. Since I wanted something light, I ordered a salad with grilled salmon. The bartender who took my order was alright. He seemed to be more focused on those who were eating in-house. My order came out fairly quickly. The restaurant wasn't too big; nothing stood out in terms of the decors. It wasn't fancy and was okay looking. My salad had fresh greens; the salmon portion size was bigger than expected. Overall, a decent 4-star meal.

Food was good and people were friendly. We got food to take back to the room so didn't experience the wait staff. I ordered right at opening and they were a little slow getting started, but the staff did meet my needs during the order process.

This grill is tucked away in the Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel - IMO good place to grab breakfast and lunch. Albeit a bit pricey since situated as a hotel restaurant, the service is really good and most times you have the entire restaurant to yourself (after the morning check out rush)! In particular, I like that the bar has 4 taps for draft Bold City Brewery craft beers! Again, this is a nice option if you want to avoid the maddening crowds at Town Center and enjoy some quiet bar and restaurant time.

I came here twice this week for lunch as I was in the area for training. First off let me say that the remodel of the lobby is so clean and inviting. I love the way it looks, so immediately I was receptive to what they are doing here from an aesthetic standpoint. Service both times was very good. Attentive waitstaff and a nice little menu.I tried the Caesar Salad and really enjoyed it. Nice crisp lettuce, good dressing and tasty croutons. I also had the Calamari and really enjoyed it. There was a slight issue the second time with a soapy taste to both mine and my friend's sodas. The waiter went back and investigated and fixed the problem. Good place for lunch in a nice environment.

Apprehensive to eat here due to all the bad reviews but after reading most of them the one and two stars are for ridiculous reasons. Came here since it was in the hotel and rush hour traffic wasn't worth venturing out. Happy hour was going on and it was a great offering, especially since it's in a hotel. $5 beers and house wines among other options. Had the blackened chicken salad and a loaded baked potato and it was solid. Service was fantastic and with the new remodeled hotel and restaurant it's very clean and updated. If you're in the area and don't want to battle traffic it's worth a stop by for dinner/happy hour.

The Alum group scheduled in advance to use their facility over a month in advance for 6-80 people. We show up to watch the game and they had 2 servers on duty for our group with the manager (assuming he was, Coat and tie) trying to get all of us fed. They took 20mins to take the order and another 25 to get the food to us and one our individuals in the group, the order was wrong. The TV's are too small to hold an organized televised event at. The sound was bad...and they were totally unprepared. Very sad state of affairs. If there is one or 2 people you maybe safe as long as they are not busy but they were advised in advance and still were unprepared. Food was average.

This was the second time my wife and I have tried to have lunch here and we were unable too! The first time they were closed during the week for an unknown reason and this time they were having a private function where no one else could eat there. We wasted 10 minutes going over there, parking, and going in to find out both times on our hour lunch breaks. It won't happen again. They need to learn to be more consistent with their hours of operation. I wish I could give you a review on the food but we've never been able to eat any.
