At first glance at the menu of this place I was a little taken back by cheese cake being served as a savory dish and paired with wine. BUT What an amazing concept! I absolutely loved the concept and ambiance at this establishment. Inside it was an intimate setting and outside was like a magical Christmas wonderland. The service was another 10/10. We were offer complementary hot or cold tea which tasted great and was a nice touch to the beginning of our experience. There were pieces of pineapple which serve as a palette cleansing in between tastings. Our waitress very knowledgeable and did a phenomenal job pairing each wine with both our savory and sweet tastings. We ordered the following: Savory tasting: Fish (Mahi) Cheesecake, Maine "Lobstah" Cheesecake, Short Rib CheesecakeSweet Tasting: Pistachio Cheesecake, Florida Orange Dream Cheesecake, Red Velvet CheesecakeThe wine was chosen by our waitress. All the cheesecakes were good and flavorful. The short rib wasn't my favorite only because it came with bbq sauce and I'm not a big fan of bbq. But for those who are, I can see how this would be a favorite.I will definitely revisit whenever I'm back in St Augustine. Thank you guys for the experience.

This place had awesome cheesecakes but even better customer service! In St. Augustine for a weekend, we sought out Bar Harbor for dessert one night. When we arrived, we were surprised to learn about the need for reservations to enter the establishment. But, to our delight, one of the owners was outside gate keeping and she entertained us, informing us about how the place came to be, reviewing their sweet and savory options, and encouraging us to return for a sit down experience. At the counter outside, they had a sample of their offerings. We went for the pineapple upside down cheesecake and unfortunately they were out of it. So instead, we tried the strawberry banana and pina colada cheesecakes. We really enjoyed them. They weren't too dense and they were packed with flavor! Prices are a bit steep for the 4inch rounds, ranging from $15-$22 but kudos to the excellent customer service, even on the porch outside the restaurant.

One of the most bizarre restaurant experiences ever. Walked up in the middle of the day with my 12-year-old daughter, who wanted some cheesecake. Told by the woman outside you must have a reservation to sit inside, but luckily they have open tables. Okay. Then told that you must pay a $9 "reservation fee" per person, paid in advance, to sit at the table, which then goes towards whatever you order. So odd. Basically you have to spend at least $9 per person to sit down. Then we were given a very strange lecture before going in about the dress code, how you couldn't be drunk or loud and a whole litany of rules. Again just me and my kid staring at each other thinking what is going on here? Once inside, there is only one other table even occupied. The service was okay and so was the cheesecake, but as a local, I would never go again with all the weird, off-putting fees and lectures. Just a really strange way to run a business.

We had Great customer service. We liked that they're open until 11:11pm not many things are open late around here minus a few pubs & maybe a couple places to eat. I want to note we ordered our cheesecake to go. Which is all done outside. We got the birthday cake & blueberry. The flavor was there for us just not the texture. We thought it resembled more like a softened, whipped cream cheese out of the tub. I wouldn't be against sharing a piece & sitting outside on their bench at night with the lights. Their outside is nicely lit up.

This is such a cute little establishment. Very intimate. I celebrated my birthday with my husband and father. The pickle platter was phenomenal. We got a total of 10 cheesecake flavors... happy birthday to me! unique options, savory items, house made tea. The server was so patient and helpful, she was awesome. Nice, clean private bathroom. Have a nice, mature evening at Bar Harbor cheesecake.

I have been to St. Augustine more times than I can count but have never paid this place a visit. I solely thought they were a take away establishment. A few friends and I stopped in for a late night dessert and opted to sit in. We had a glass of wine and each ordered the cheesecake taster (3 selections for $9). I was overwhelmed and pleased with the selections of flavors. It was entirely too hard to select only 3! My favorite of my tasters was definitely the blueberry lemon. They also do to-go and full slices. It was very cool to dine in here since this appears to be an old home staged as a restaurant. It was very cute and well decorated for Christmas. The service was quick and friendly as well. Hope to come back soon!

Cute little renovated house in historic district. Someone raved to us about the cannoli cheesecake, so we got it, but it was pretty boring. Had very little flavor. We also got an amaretto cheesecake that was fabulous! We didn't eat there, just got cheesecakes to go. At $20 per cake, it's very overpriced, but we splurged. Probably wouldn't go back.

I have walked by this place so many times and finally stopped in. To do one of their dine in tastings you need to make a reservations for $9, but that $9 goes toward your reciept. For $9 you can try any three of their dozens of sweet cheesecakes and they also do a savory flight. My friend and I asked if we could do two sweet and a savory which she said yes, but I realized after I dint think that was as good of a deal because it cost $9 plus $5 got the savory sample, I could see it be an extra $5 if you got the threw sweet and a savory but we got 2 sweet and a savory so I think it was a better deal to do the three sweet and a savory flight. But oh well. The cheesecakes were all really good and our hostess was nice and informative but the samples were kind of small, I pictured I bigger amount. A slice of cheesecake at cheesecake factory os about 9 and that takes me a couple days to finish so I was surprised by the portions. Taste and service were still good and I know around the holidays they really deck it out, I just expected a little more for the cost.

This was actually a terrible experience. The waitress seemed very inexperienced- didn't know what a dairy allergy was! I asked for a salad and to replace the blue cheese with goat cheese instead. She went and asked the chef/cook who said no despite the fact they did have goat cheese. My friend asked for salt and pepper to which they said no they don't have it. Another friend asked for her potato a certain way, it was fine wrong and undercooked. Would never return- and the atmosphere was gloomy and weird.

We entered the establishment and were brought into a lovely room. With a beautiful table laid out with our cheesecake and wine pairings. It was wonderful. One of the owners who brought us to our table spent the entire time telling us about their story and how they got where they are. Answered all our questions. What a wonderful story. It was like dining in their home. We had a fabulous time. Our cheesecake was amazing. Would love to try some of their savory cheesecake. Who knew. Look forward to going back next time we're in St Augustine.
