This spot is hands-down one of my favorite places for Vietnamese food. They offer a huge variety--banh mi, pho, boba, spring rolls, appetizers, and even a little bakery case with cakes. Whether you're craving something savory or sweet, there's plenty to choose from. This time, we ordered boba, banh mi, and spring rolls. For the sandwiches, you can customize your bread (croissant or traditional French bread) and size (6", 8", or 12"). We got the Jax Original (a store-specific favorite I always come back for) and the Lemongrass Beef (only available as a 12"). The lemongrass beef had great flavor, though the texture of the beef can be a bit mushy, but it's still tasty. The spring rolls are always a hit--super fresh and satisfying. We got the pork ones this time, and they didn't disappoint. For boba, we tried the Thai Tea and the new Coconado (a mix of coconut milk and avocado), both half sugar. The Thai Tea is perfect if you need a caffeine boost, while the Coconado stole the show for me--it's creamy, unique, and so refreshing. Just note, they charge extra for boba, so we skipped it, but the drinks themselves are fantastic. The atmosphere is casual and functional. It's not the cleanest place, but it gets the job done. Food takes a little longer because they're constantly juggling a steady stream of drive-thru orders, but the freshness makes it worth the wait. People are friendly but not the quickest. Weekdays are quieter, but weekends get busier. If you grab anything from the bakery case, keep in mind the pastries are cold--it's best to take them home and warm them up in an air fryer. And don't miss the cute singing clock on the side of the store; it chimes every hour like a little cuckoo clock. Such a fun touch!Overall, whether you're dining in or taking out, this place never misses. The food is fresh, flavorful, and keeps me coming back. 5 stars!

Bánh Mì n' Phở Express is a casual Vietnamese eatery that hits all the right notes. From their fresh and flavorful banh mi to the comforting bowls of pho, this spot brings authentic Vietnamese flavors to the table. Their freshly baked bread elevates every sandwich, and the selection of boba teas, including the standout Oreo Milk Tea, is a delightful treat. The banh mi egg sandwich on a warm, freshly baked baguette was a personal favorite--simple yet packed with flavor. Their shredded chicken and grilled pork options are equally delicious, complemented by fresh, crisp vegetables.Friendly and helpful staff make the experience even better, while the drive-thru and ample parking add convenience. Whether you're craving sweet pastries, savory patties, or a refreshing drink, this spot has it all. A must-visit for quick, tasty Vietnamese cuisine!

Banh Mi Pho Express - A New Favorite! Today, we had the pleasure of trying the pho baguette sandwich at Banh Mi Pho Express, and it was an absolute delight! Each bite brought a satisfying crunch from the fresh vegetables combined with soft, perfectly baked bread. The sandwich was packed with flavor, making it a unique twist on traditional pho in sandwich form--a real treat for the taste buds! The Vietnamese Thai tea and sweet mango drink were just as impressive, balancing sweet and savory flavors that paired beautifully with the meal. The Thai tea was rich and creamy, while the mango drink was refreshing, adding a fruity contrast to the sandwich.Banh Mi Pho Express has such a cozy, inviting ambiance that it quickly felt like a place we'd love to revisit. With their friendly staff and great service, it's clear they're dedicated to creating an unforgettable dining experience. The convenience of a drive-thru, paired with their daily hours from 9 AM to 9 PM, makes it easy to stop by anytime. We highly recommend giving this spot a try--you won't be disappointed! Bánh Mì n' Phở Express3515 St Johns Bluff Rd S,Jacksonville, FL 32224

I've come here several times and have always had a good experience. Food was fresh and flavorful. However, tonight I ordered my food over an hour in advance and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my sandwich and drink to be prepared. And to make matters worse, there were three hairs wrapped up into my sandwich and you can see in the picture how embedded these hairs were. To my horror, as I opened the sandwich for further inspection, I noticed several other black and white hairs wrapped in. There is no way that these were not noticed when preparing. I'd recommend some improvements in quality control. Sadly this experience really grossed me out, I had no dinner and I'm concerned about returning!

We took a day trip down to Jacksonville when we paid my sister-in-law and her family a visit in Savannah, GA and we were told this place had really good banh mi. Hubs is a stickler when it comes to these sandwiches but we were excited to try. We did a drive thru order for a 12" special combo and 12" lemongrass beef - we were pretty impressed (and my husband is pretty hard to please sometimes, lol). The woman taking care of us was so kind and we're so big on service. The beef in my sandwich was flavorful, moist and had the perfect meat-to-veggie ratio. Hubs really liked the amount of meat in his and we regret not grabbing one for the road that night when we drove back to Savannah, GA. We don't live too far away, and plan to visit Jacksonville again. We can't wait to stop by and eat in.

My friend and I ordered the banh mi sandwiches to-go and deconstructed. They have a special when you buy five, you get one free. We got four lemongrass beef and one grilled pork. They packed the pickled radish, carrots, jalapeño and cilantro in separate bags so the sandwiches don't get soggy. When I got home, I put them together and it was very tasty. Also, they do not skimp on the meat!

Super great food, super nice ladies and super nice/quick service. I just moved here all the way from California and this is probs some of the best pho I've had. Definitely get the spring rolls I could eat 10 of those alone. Nice clean sitting area as well.

We are are banh mi family and super thrilled to have found an AWESOME banh mi sandwich shop within reasonable driving distance. We ordered the #1, Jax Signature. You can order various sizes, which was super cool, since I usually have to order 2 for myself. So I just ordered their 12" for myself, and a couple 6" sandwiches for the rest of the family. The bread was warm, which is something we are not used to, and the ingredients had some other surprises that I could not identify, but happily consumed. Until next time Banh Mi & Pho Express. =)

My mom brought over a grilled pork banh mi along with an order of pho during lunch. I enjoyed the banh mi. The pho was okay.

food was amazing. I had the pho that comes with vermicelli noodles, pork, lots of dipping sauce, and the staff were very friendly and kind. They also bake their own pastries, which I'll try next time. I'm going to try to come here once every two healthy and so delicious. The as I mentioned was spectacular , clean, and the were enjoying their work.
