Baitong Thai & Sushi was an incredible dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was welcoming and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Our server, Napa, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making the meal even more enjoyable.The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors in every dish. For appetizers, we tried the Jumping Jalapeño, Crab Rangoon, and Chicken Satay -- all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For our main entrees, we ordered the Green Curry Fried Rice with Shrimp and the Masaman Curry with Chili Hot Sauce. The green curry fried rice had the perfect balance of spice and richness, while the masaman curry was creamy, flavorful, and comforting.On a chilly day, the warm green tea was just what we needed to complete the meal. We both had a noodle dish. Both were medium spice that was just right. The beef dish was very good. The pork was good but not quite as good as the beef. Both meals were enough to make another at home and were good the next day.

This is the first place I ever tried Tom yum soup. The owner, very sweet said, "Why don't you try something new?" So I did. Wow! I asked for spice, like a 20 and he delivered. Best Tom yum to date. I try it everywhere I go and his is still the best.

We have been going to Baitong Thai and sushi for over three years. The owner and his family create traditional Thai dishes as well as yummy sushi. The service is always friendly and attentive. We come here for the Thai and a little sushi. We started with Spicy Tuna Nachos which is plenty for two to have a few fried wonton skins served with spicy tuna and diced avocado. My husband's go to is the Chrissy duck Pad Thai. I've never seen it on any other Thai food menu so we had to try it. The Pad Thai is classic with that sweet, not too sweet spice, and a touch of lime. It's topped with a perfectly crispy half duck sliced for easy serving. I ordered the Crispy Grouper. It's fresh grouper lightly fried to a crisp, served over sautéed fresh vegetables and served with a chili sauce.

I'm counting the days till I come back to St Augustine. It may not be the beach that calls me back it may just be Baitong Thai & Sushi Restaurant!!! Don't let the strip mall location concern you. You are getting a 5 Star restaurant experience!!! The food is amazing!!! From the Shrimp shumei to the Naruto roll to the curry dishes... and the crispy salmon, it was all delicious!!! Service was spectacular!!! The venue is clean. It's in a strip mall in a beach community. Spend the day at the beach and then after you've taken a nice nap... head over for some authentic Thai and sushi!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

St Augustine is our vacation destination every year. Some good restaurants down there. This Baitong is one of our favorites. The food is so delicious and tasty. I had been to Bangkok, and their food just like the food I ate in Bangkok. The service is good. I suggest you order some appetizers first if you are so hungry. The place is nice. Easy to find. Comfortable and cozy warmth ambiance.

Virgin Noodle entree was good at spice level 3. The Drunken Noodle with Beef was better-very flavorful.

The pad Thai was absolutely delicious (spice level: 4). Homemade Thai iced tea was a perfect taste! Ambience was nice with music and tone of guests. It was very packed and had a buffet setup as an option.

A friend and I got takeout from here on a Tuesday night. There were about 6-7 tables seated inside and I think only one server working! We were quoted 45 minutes for the food, and it took about 65. By the time we left there was a long line at the host stand. Not sure if it is a regular occurrence for them but seems like they were short staffed. The calamari was cold upon checking the bag, so we asked for a new one and once it was fresh it was amazing. We also ordered pad Thai, kids fried rice, Nam Sod, shrimp tempura with salmon roll, and spring rolls.Everything was excellent! The pad Thai was a favorite. For both the Pad Thai and the Nam Sod we ordered a "2" on the 1-5 scale of spicy. Be aware! The two was definitely pretty spicy. I would go with a 1 next time and we both are people that enjoy some kick to our food. Overall it was a good choice for takeout and the prices and portions are very reasonable.
