Back 40 Urban Fresh

I don't come by as often as I used to but last time we stopped in for a quick visit, our waiter bought my daughter Reese's which she was tickled by! He even engaged with her in conversation about her favorite book series - dogman. We usually sit outside, but it's cooler out now so we were inside. I wish there was live music more. Been a while since there was a performer there when we were. The drinks and food are always great. Service is top tier.

I can't remember the name of the taco place that was here, but I loved it. I hope this place lives up! Decor is pretty similar. So it didn't. Service was mediocre at best. I ordered the BLT avocado wrap...it was mostly lettuce and wrap. Really disappointing.

This place is the best hang out for me and my husband. We enjoy the bar seating, the bartender is great, the drinks and food are delicious. Happy hour prices are the best too.

We came back again and the second time was just as good as the first! We sat at a table this time and our server was constantly checking on us and making sure we were enjoying our meal. She was great!I ordered the buffalo chicken sliders (they were part of the game day special which is a burger, chicken, and pulled pork slider, but I was able to get all chicken). The sliders were the perfect amount of spicy, and the sweet potato fries were massive. I also ordered the house salad and couldn't believe how big it was! I just ordered a side portion but it was large enough to be a main. The house ranch was a great dressing to have with it. I'm not a huge fan of ranch in my salad (I usually go for vinaigrette), but our server recommended it as it's not as thick as other ranch dressings, and she was right!I love how casual this place is, yet the food is top notch. It's great for a lazy weekend dinner.

Ordered take out and the order was ready when promised, order was accurate, food was tasty, warm and fresh.

After trying the OG Saint Augustine location years ago, I was excited to stop by this location after hearing they had a newly refreshed menu. It was a quiet Monday night and I was seated immediately. The ambiance was chill and friendly. I ordered the dynamite shrimp tacos which were served with chips and salsa. The salsa had a subtly-sweet taste which I loved and had some heat to it. These are some of the best shrimp tacos I've had to date simply because the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The shrimp was served on top of a bed of dynamite slaw. The shrimp was seasoned to perfection and hot and crispy. Overall, My total time spent in the restaurant clocked in at just under 20 minutes, and with super speedy service, great waitstaff and delicious tacos, I will definitely be returning.

They had some issues sorting out their hours through COVID, but now they seem to have worked through it and I feel comfortable giving them a hearty endorsement.These guys have gone a full step beyond the old Saucy Taco menu in creativity. Well executed tex mex variety. Good choice of salads, wraps, and bowls. Fresh and healthier than typical bar food.Speaking of bar, their wine down Wednesday is a hit with us because it's actually a good selection, and they basically eat the markup for their promo priced bottles.And their craft beer selection is primo too. Not many places make _both_ of us happy with good wine -and- beer selection.

Everything here is great! The food, the people and the atmosphere. They get my order right every time. The buffalo chicken wrap with waffle fries is my favorite. I love the Cajun ranch to dip my fries in. My first meal out from surgery actually. It's a favorite for sure! They hooked me up and left a nice note. I can appreciate a restaurant that makes the experience more personable by being thoughtful and relatable. Togo or dine in you definitely won't be disappointed!

It's a super cute cafe, very eclectic. Staff is friendly and the food is very fresh! Our son ordered the kids Mac and cheese with mandarin oranges and he wouldn't stop raving about it I ordered the avocado and peppers tacos and they were very flavorful and fresh (very saucy, if you don't like sauce or are trying to stay low calorie, ask for the sauce on the side). I also got the sweet potato side, would not recommend unfortunately. It was fresh but there was a chimichurri sauce that I wasn't expecting. I don't like chimichurri. My husband ordered the steak salad. He said, "It should have been called the Big Mac salad." The steak came out like ground beef and it was smothered in dressing. Not what he was expecting.

Food and service was awesome! Band was pretty good, prices were really good.. Could use more ceiling fans.. Too hot on the inside.. Way too hot..
