B & B Restaurant/ Bosnian Oriental Food

I was soooo excited to try this place because of the outstanding reviews.The smells when I walked in were fabulous.... I immediately noticed the shwarma cooker in the corner looks like it's no longer in use.... Time to put it in storage since shwarmas are no longer on the menu....The menu is extremely limited, but it didn't matter as I just wanted the lamb.... "Sorry, we don't have any lamb tonight...."Ok, I'll take the cabbage rolls.... "Sorry, we don't have any cabbage rolls...." Questions as to what the other items were met with a perplexed look by the girl running the counter and answering their phone, despite being unable to speak English well enough to communicate basic questions (she couldn't even say what type of meat was in any of the handful of dishes)....The attempt to order was extremely frustrating, as despite the fact that I was early for dinner they didn't have anything in stock....I needed up ordering the beef stew and a gyro.... The beef in the beef stew was DRY.... And the stew badly needed salt.... Their gyro was like any other premade gyro that's heated up....But as I was leaving, $35 lighter, they brought out a beautiful meal (giant feta salad and LAMB) for a local patron.... Incredulous, I informed the hostess/server that I did not see any of that on the menu..... To which she replied, that was "The Special...."Really...? I asked for lamb when I walked in and because you didn't have the lamb by the pound you forgot to mention that you had a lamb dish with as The Special...?Pro Tips: 1) Hire a hostess that can speak English2) Don't show favoritism to your local guests 3) I had planned to come back with a large crowd to give you another chance, but now I'm just going to give you the review you've earned 4) Expand and improve your menu, as most of it is just ready made food they are re-heating; the $3.50 Aryan drink was the only quality portion of my $35 meal

I have always looked for a taste of home in Jax but was a difficult task until today . Stepping into this restaurant is like a heartwarming journey back to my childhood and birth country. Roast lamb to go. Perfectly seasoned every time, professionally cut and portioned. This is always a favorite for my dinner parties and I do not have to worry if it's under or over seasoned - it's always perfectly cooked and seasoned. Must try for sure. Highly recommended. The couple who own this family restaurant and European market are always welcoming and polite to their guests, making you feel like family.

This is the best Bosnian restaurant that I have found in America! I visited Mostar last year and as soon as I took a sip of the Turkish coffee and a bite of the Cevapi I felt like I was back there! The service was great and the grocery store has some great finds!

Truly a hidden gem! I've passed by so many times and never knew this was there! Lamb is amazing! I got the lamb Philly and it was huge and delicious. Owners are so nice! The will be closed for a few weeks in June 2022 from what the owner told me.

Literally, one of those hole-in-the-wall places that you try to find, a hidden gem, some might say. Looks totally inconspicuous on the outside, but then... then, you smell the aroma, or try a free sample or see the delicious baked goods prepped in the fridge... and, you're hooked. Delicious, heavenly, fantastic, I just don't have the vocabulary for how on-point this establishment is. Go here. Eat here. Leave happy.

Best Gyro with homemade Taziki I've ever had! Super friendly service a d very unique foods in the market next door.

We love B&B!Just grabbed gyros for lunch today and encourage everyone to pop by!The gyros are on their fresh baked bread,the meat is always flavorful and fresh,and the cucumbers and their unique taziki add a crispness I cant get enough of!(Their taziki seems to have a garlic spin-maybe its just me-but regardless,its not your usual basic taziki.The service is always friendly and prompt!The cost of their gyro sandwich is less than a burger meal in fast food,and its much more delicious,they have never made a mistake,and honestly they are faster than a drive thru!They also house a small groccery with spices(Im def going back for a huge bag of bay leaves for only 1.99!)teas,pastas,their fresh baked breads,even exotic coffees and soft drinks-we got two exclusive fantas today-Tropical and ExoticI encourage everyone to pop by and try them,(closed mon&tues)and leave a review,to support local small businesses-Thank you again B&B,lunch was amazing as always!

B.B. European Restaurant...Down here on work and Heard a lot of buzz about this place, gave it a try and man, the food was authentic as you can get, I had the lamb plate with a salad and feta cheese. Food was super fresh and delicious, staff was amazing and very friendly. Will be back before I leave.
