Market Tents
Pandan waffle, $7. Gummy & inedible. It went into the garbage. It's sold by the vendor that sells garlic fried chicken & shrimp balls.

Curry chicken puffs from Emberleeshop Thai Food.
Chicken and Steak skewers. Spring rolls.
Banh xeo, $12. Crispy exterior. Lots of veggie filling. It was ok.

Dessert from the banh xeo place. Interesting combination. It has ginger pieces, which I probably would not have purchased if I had known.
Lava buns were custard filled rolls. Of the pandan and taro flavors, we liked the pandan. The rolls were small for the price.
The tornado potato was yummy.
Food took a really long time. The crispy quail wonton & fried fish ball skewers were decent.
Beef lumpias from here weren't bad. 5 for $5.
Mango sticky rice from Emberleeshop Thai Food. $8. They sold papaya salad too. Thai & Lao style. Hubby got the Lao, and he said it was good.

Garlic chicken wings, $7. It was pretty good, but I didn't realize there would be two different types of chicken.
The crispy quail wonton & fried fish ball skewers were decent. The octopus were not crispy & underseasoned.

Garlic fried chicken combo, $13. Tastey. Don't get their pandan wafflr.

I saw a recommendation on Facebook about this Asian street market so I drug some friends hoping this was going to be good. My best friend says we are coming back every month. Pros:* You'll find probably every type of Asian food you can think of - Thai, Filipino, Cambodian and so many more. * We tried several good booths and everything we got was really good* DJ playing music Cons:* Limited amount of seating. There's plenty of seats but people camp out. I look forward to coming back and trying some more of the booths over the next few months.

Many vendors with delicious selections. The lines were moving fast and you got your food hot off the grill. It ambiance was kept lively with music from the DJs. I definitely recommend this event!

Checked out the Asian Night Market at RD International today. I went early (4:10pm) because I heard it gets busy and it was already busy! Now I can see why. Amazing selection of options you can't find in restaurants here. Fair prices. Everyone I interacted with was helpful, friendly and not pushy. I will definitely be returning to try new things! I got a sugarcane juice, banh xeo, spicy curried sausage (sai oua), and mitarashi dango.
