I reserved a table for 6 for a Saturday lunch. We were seated immediately at an outside table. Nice day, a little overcast and very comfortable temperature. We were protected from the weather by the roof. Also, great view of the boat yard and wetlands. Our waitress took drink orders and returned quickly. She then proceeded to take our orders. In a short period, some of us received their tomato soup. Before the finished our lunch was brought out. I wish restaurants would wait for people to finish a course before bringing the next Our lunches were great. I had the Asado bowl which was a little spicy but very tasty and flavorful.Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes.I liked my pilsner as well We were never rushed except for the delivery of food. Otherwise a good experience. Total for 2 people and a beer was under $50 before tip. Can't wait to try their dinner sometime.

Well, this was not the experience we anticipated, as we had dined here previously and had a great meal. When we first heard about the restaurant and their outdoor grill experience we wanted to try it, but we were hesitant because it is very pricey,Since it was a milestone birthday for my husband who happens to love grilled meats and veggies, we decided to splurge and invited our family to join us.The pre-tax and tip price is $30 per person more than the typical Brazilian steakhouse that offers all you can eat picanha and many other meats. This Argentine style grilled experience was not offered as all you can eat although it was advertised as eat while it lasts which is somewhat misleading. Service was meh, friendly but not very attentive. To say our entire party was disappointed is an understatement.

I will preface that this review is specifically about the "Asador Club" experience. DIS.A.POINT.ED. BIRTH.DAY. Each syllable represents $100. Yep. $600 prepaid for what we were told was the LAST time they would be doing this, and from what we experienced, we are NOT surprised. They could've went out with a bang, but this was barely a fizzle. They made sure this would be the last one. We've been here for other meals and had great food and great service. Based on those previous visits, we had high expectations for the Asador Club. Unfortunately, it left us flat. We felt like an afterthought throughout the evening. Our server Summer was just okay. She wasn't horrible, but she wasn't great. Since it was already prepaid including tip, her effort reflected that. She had nothing to gain and she certainly had nothing to lose. She never asked if we wanted more drinks. I don't know if she was too busy with other tables or just indifferent overall. While it is a pre-fixed menu, the description also stated guests are welcome to enjoy more of their favorite items while they last. That was not made an option at all. It's misleading because they provide you with one serving of everything and there is no "while they last." At least not tonight. And I suspect being their last time, that is why. We started with a ceviche sample, then a focaccia sample (which was great btw), then a family style salad - also very good. Each person was then provided maybe 3 oz of snapper, 1 small chicken thigh, and maybe 5 oz of picanha. The picanha effort was the worst of what we were served. My jaw is still sore from all the chewing. The plate with the proteins also had some potatoes, carrots, and broccoli. As it was a cooler evening, everything arrived cold. This could easily be remedied by serving on a cast iron (think fajitas). The meal finished with a slice of key lime pie. We all agreed that it was a total rip off. What we also agreed on was that if we did come back, we would rather order off the menu. Those prior experiences were great but if all the Asador Club experiences were like this one, they're smart for stopping them. Great marketing. Poor execution. As you can see, my prior review was 5*

A Taste of Argentina by the Water at AsadoLifeAsado Life offers a unique dining experience, blending Argentine-inspired live-fire grilling with a trendy waterfront setting. Here's a glimpse into my visit:AtmosphereThe ambiance is undoubtedly the highlight, especially if you snag a seat outdoors by the waterfront. The romantic, upscale vibe pairs beautifully with the serene water views. However, if seated indoors, you may feel like you're missing out on the restaurant's main attraction. The FoodThe menu focuses on live-fire grilling, and the dishes are bursting with flavor. I enjoyed the Blackened Shrimp with Seasonal Vegetables--the shrimp were grilled to perfection, and the vegetables were seasoned impeccably with house spices. Despite the bold flavors, portion sizes were on the smaller side, and the prices reflect the upscale setting.Service & PracticalitiesWhile the food impresses, the service was slower than expected, and even simple extras like bread come with an additional charge. Parking is another challenge--you may find yourself hunting for a spot, which can detract from the overall experience.Final ThoughtsAsadoLife is a great spot for special occasions or a romantic evening, especially if you appreciate waterfront dining and upscale vibes. Just be prepared for a slower pace, smaller portions, and a higher price point. For those who value atmosphere and flavorful live-fire dishes, it's worth a visit--just aim for outdoor seating to get the full experience.

Met a friend for lunch. Our first time eating here. There is high indoor and outside seating. We sat outside. In case of bad weathered there are clear curtains, which was great since we sat outside and there was a short rain. Full service bar. We both had a French 75- yummy, shared a grilled pineapple appetizer also tasty. My lunch was an asado bowl with roast pork shoulder - perfect. Friend had the French dip that came with fries and she said her's was good too. I would go back. Apple Maps took me down the wrong street- turn on Arapaho!!!

Read really good things about this place so we decided to venture away from downtown to try it. We had dinner reservations but decided to come over for lunch instead. Luckily it was easy to cancel the dinner. Got a seat quick. Outside is so nice with the views of old town and the river. So many good sounding things on the menu it was hard to choose. We chose to get the Asado trio for one. It was plenty to get a taste of what they are about. Amazing! They do meat really good here. For me the chicken was the best. So tender and seasoned so well. The salad and potato salad were just as good. So good and unique. Had a couple of cocktails and wine. Everything is so good. Service was really good. Stryker was great. Good Suggestions and conversation. Solid spot. Good is amazing, reasonably priced and relaxing vibe.

5 stars doesn't do this place justice!! We had the most incredible time here! One of the nicest places I've eaten at in St Aug. The restaurant is immaculate! The decor is sleek and clean, and the energy is amazing! Our server was so sweet and took great care of us. We had wine, Sweet Potato Agnolotti with their fresh focaccia bread, Bronzino and a s'mores cake! Everything was 10/10, the best meal I've had in St Aug by far!! Warning: You do need to call ahead for the meat by 10am so they have time to cook! The Sweet Potato Agnolotti with the buttery focaccia was sooo delicious and warm, like a comfort food! The Bronzino was a pre-ordered sea bass with grilled veggies - phenomenal!! And oh my goodness the s'mores cake was sooo good, sweet but not to sweet and just perfection. I could not say enough good things about this place! MUST TRY!

A very interesting place. Outdoor seating overlooks an inlet where dolphins can sometimes be seen. You can order entrees in advance that are slow cooked on an outdoor grill. Wife had Bronzino cooked that way and loved it. My Cioppino was Ok, with several large and tasty shrimp. The bananas foster was good, but large enough to share. Service good.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! Our family came to the restaurant to celebrate a family members wedding, and the staff did not want to accommodate the personnel in our party even after being informed more than 24 hours prior to our reservation. The restaurant failed to plan for the additional guests and when they showed up, no one made an effort to offer to bring a table to make sure everyone had a seat. After waiting, we moved an empty table to seat everyone.Once that occurred, a staff member had the audacity and got in my cousin's face and began yelling at her. Her father had to intervene with the staff member and tell them not to speak to his daughter that way. When the manager was informed, she did NOTHING to resolve the situation and did not apologize. While we should have gotten up and left immediately, we told the restaurant that we wanted to stay, and they took an additional 20 minutes to take our order. The unprofessional management and staff put a damper on our family celebration. I would not recommend for anyone to eat here as they DO NOT CARE about their clientele and have made zero effort to correct this situation!

Avoid This Place - Unprofessional and Hostile ServiceBelieve the 1-star reviews--this restaurant is not great- especially for large groups. I made a reservation weeks in advance for my family the night before my wedding, informed the manager about our increased party size and ADA needs, and was assured everything would be handled. Instead, we were met with chaos, understaffing, and outright hostility.Despite arriving 40 minutes early to help the staff prepare, the service was shockingly unprofessional. A staff member--large, with a ponytail--screamed at me in front of my family. No apology was given, just an atmosphere of aggression and disregard.I was incredibly embarrassed to have my relatives treated this way and I did not enjoy the meal. If you expect professionalism, kindness, or even basic hospitality, look elsewhere. Absolutely do not bring a large party here--you'll regret it.If you don't believe my take on the manager's lack of hospitality and his outright aggression, please see his response on Google Reviews where he lied about the entire situation and still refrained from apologizing to me or my family. Do not spend your money here!
