What a nice artist village on Sadler Road! Julie is such a creative and supportive artist/owner! She and her husband have created a little gem both inside their gallery and outside in the garden! They have a demonstration studio she shows her technique of "pouring" mediums on flat surfaces like canvas but also tables and such! There is a 3rd building where other artist rent and work their magic! They accept local artwork with a "coastal" flair to see if her customers might find something they just can't live without!

What a pleasant surprise!! This art gallery (and more) is a complete gem tucked away in Fernandina Beach. Not only are there monthly shows and displays with public receptions, but art classes as well!I was privileged to partake in the February 2019 showing themed, "Red." The works on display varied tremendously in styles and techniques with many artists on hand to discuss their entries. Owner and artist, Julie Delf, was a wonderful hostess along with her husband, Mark. They offered a wide variety of complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer and water. Local artisan, Andrea Lee, was also creating onsite. I can't wait to go back in March to see all the mermaid themed creations!

We drove here from Jax today to see the Fairy Village. It was a cute setup and not super large but worth it if you took the time to walk around and take everything in. The building itself was nice with local artists work hanging on the walls inside. They made a scavenger hunt for kids and if they found everything they got a prize (lollipop), which was a nice added touch. The artist who created the fairy garden was on site. You could ask her questions or talk to her about the work. She also had a cool setup for people who wanted to purchase their own fairy stuff to take home. I'd recommend the trip but I'd plan to do something more because it won't take too long to look around. We went to Fort Clinch afterword and walked on a nature path, saw the fort and walked down to the beach for a while. Cool trip!
