I absolutely adore Mary. She is THE kindest and most loving woman. I mention this first because a stylist's character is as important to me as her/his ability to do beautiful hair. However, on top of this, Mary is every bit as talented as any high end stylist I've ever been to, and the compliments I receive are endless. I brought both my daughter and mother to see Mary and both will return again and again. Tracy is another beautiful soul, who I feel blessed to see at the front desk. I had a very bad experience this morning. I went in for a perm but Mary Crowley refused to give it to me because I still had some color in my hair; I still had a lot of curl in my hair according to her; etc.etc. It was my choice to have the perm, not hers. She argued with me for at least half an hour causing me a great deal of stress and anxiety. In all my years of going to a salon I have never been treated like this. When I told her I was going to speak to the manager she stated :don't threaten me:! Will never enter this business Again.want a pleasing salon experience? Go elsewhere!

I decided to try out lash extensions to see what all the hype was about. I was referred to Art N Illusion and was not disappointed. This place was clean and staff were welcoming. Krystel gave me a volume set and I have never been more confident or happier. I receive compliments all the time about my lashes and how natural they look. Krystel takes her time and has a fine attention to detail. I highly recommend coming here and seeing Krystel for lash extensions!

By far the best salon in Jax! I am very picky about my hair and have been to many other places in town, but nothing can compare to Art n Illusion. They do exactly what I want every time. I won't trust any one else with my hair. My stylist Anetta keeps up with with the latest trends by taking continuing education in New York. They have the friendliest staff, and the whole atmosphere feels very homey. The stylists are very well educated and know what they are talking about. It is a great place to unwind, relax, and to get pampered. I highly recommend!!

Anetta has been styling my hair for years, she is truly the best!
