Whether you are looking for a new fun way to work out, or maybe you want to plan a party activity, you should check out Alt Fit Jax! I've only done a fitness pole class once before in another state, so I was thrilled to be invited to a private event organized by my friend at Alt Fit Jax. A group of 15 girls got dresses up last night and had a blast learning some pole fitness moves! It's quite a workout, but also a ton of fun, and a very empowering & bonding experience. People of all fitness levels will feel comfortable here. The instructors were great at explaining and demonstrating all the moves and were happy to assist and spot us. For new members the 1st month unlimited is $39 which seems like a great deal! (We paid $22.50 per person for a private 2 hour event which was money well spent!)

Do you want to get super fit while you actually have fun? Then your life is about to be changed. I'm wow-ed by the results in a few short months. And its so much fun that it doesn't feel like working out AT ALL. I look forward to these classes almost every day. These women changed my life, transformed my body and made me obsessed with alternative exercise. I lost 10 pounds, gained muscle, upped my self esteem and found my tribe of supportive, beautiful, super-fun people. Try it. Seriously. Thank me later.

Alt-fit Jax is the beaches new and exclusive alternative fitness studio. The instructors are very professional and always put safety first. Classes offered include pole fitness, Lyra (also known as aerial hoop), aerial silks, and vertical barre. Do not be intimidated, as all fitness levels are welcome. If you can hold a pencil, than you can hold a pole! Currently they are offering a monthly trial of unlimited classes for $39 to all new members. This is the cheapest price that you will see in Jacksonville. If you struggle with motivating yourself to attend a traditional gym, I highly recommend alt-fit.

This fitness studio is beautiful. There are pole, strength, lyra, silks, and choreography classes. The instructors are all absolutely amazing and welcoming. Great atmosphere for all levels.

Great group of women at Alt Fit Jax. Workouts are really fun and challenging at the same time. Great way to get a workout while not feeling like your stuck at the gym.

Went here for a pole dancing class with a bridal party. Had a blast. The instructor was amazing, engaging, fun, and very talented. Will definitely be signing up for more classes. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

This venue has many outgoing and engaging instructors. There are numerous classes. I really like the chair dance and exotic dance classes because you dont have to have much pole knowledge or strength to perform well. The only thing I dislike about the studio is the lack of cleanliness. The bathroom is often unclean, the sink drain was really slow, and the floors in the studio often had debris on the floor. Parking can get crowded at certain times as the business is located in a small strip mall. Often there's parking available in the neighboring strip mall but I'm sure it isnt officially available to AltFit clients. Overall, I recommend AltFit classes as it is an inclusive atmosphere and the classes are fun.

I had my 47th birthday party here. From start of booking, to constant calls (me calling asking questions) communication between the instructor and I, facility, everything.... the service was top notch. It was truly a 10 out of 10. We are planning to go back and do silks, chair, and rings.

Well, it's two days later and I still can't use my arms to full capacity! LOL! I must admit that I was skeptical of the group doing this at first due to the diversity of the brides friends and family! This was the perfect beginning to the wedding festivities....it was great bonding for our families from so many generations and backgrounds. We laughed so much and learned so much! The champagne and food display was a beautiful touch! Thank you ladies SO much for such a fantastic, amazing, memorable time and for making EVERYONE feel welcome, comfortable and included!
