Alms + Fare

First time trying Alms + Fare and it...naturally...didn't disappoint. We had excellent service, enjoyed the ambiance, and will definitely be coming back for their coffees and in house made treats.

Exactly as expected. This little bakery was extremely cheerful and cozy inside. The pastry options were so vast that I had to buy a to-go box of the ones I couldn't choose between to take home. The coffee was also delicious. It was a bit small and so had about 2-3 tables inside and 1 table outside to sit at and also had a small couch/seating area available for groups as well. I wish I lived closer because I could definitely see myself coming often!

I am totally a gluten-free girly and was so looking forward to visiting here. Upon arriving I was asking questions about some of the baked goods trying to decide what I wanted and I found the customer service and the interaction of questions answered to be totally lacking... which to me is almost as more important then the products. I couldnt decided what I wanted, but I opted for a soma chocolate doughnut which was just good and a little mushy and small for the price. The flavor was not what I expected. I also had a peppermint ice cream bar which I had to leave sitting in the car for 10 minutes just to take a bite out of. The 2 lattes were normal. I understand gluten-free is hard to do, but I really had such high hopes for this with my allergies. I'm hoping I just caught them on an off day and want to try again!

I love the entire premise for this place!! Real ingredients and delicious bakery items! The shop is one the smaller side, with some seating inside and a small counter for ordering. Everything is very bright and airy in here, i love the vibe of the place. I've tried 5 of their bakery items now and each one was absolutely delicious, and bonus, that it made me feel good with the GF and DF!! The cookie bun, cinnamon roll, and snickerdoodle blondie were some of my favorites, but the pecan brownie and poptart were also great! You really can't go wrong with anything here! The only thing that I've noticed, is everytime i come, the baristas are not friendly and just seem like they don't want to be there. Not a big deal to me but ruins the energy sometimes. Other than that, this is the perfect place for anyone wanting a yummy sweet treat and coffee! The vegan, GF, DF options are delicious and not terrible for you too! I love it!!

Cute little coffee spot! We didn't want to get any pastries but they had a wide variety of them. I decided to get the seasonal pumpkin spiced latte. It was delicious very strong in spices! If you want to support local businesses and get your caffeine on I def recommend it! Cute little corner with great service!

I've already been twice in two days! Love love love their desserts and drinks! I didn't get to try their quiches or frittatas because they run out so early in the mornings. That rose latte was absolutely delicious and one I'll remember for a long time to come. I tried so many of their desserts - donuts, bars, cookies - and each item was phenomenal, especially for being prepared gluten-free, vegan, and naturally sweetened. If I lived here, I'd eat dessert here every single day of my life!

stopped here on our first trip to st augustine and we were insanely impressed! so cute on the inside & the service was wonderful. the food is to die for, so so yummy and you can tell it was all made in house. only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is because a cockroach fell on my head and crawled away not the cafes fault though it is florida!

A hidden gem - especially if you are gluten sensitive. Quaint place with a nice selection of gluten free baked goods, coffees and other menu items. I must have passed it many times without taking notice until a friend recommended it. I went on a weekday morning and was lucky to secure a spot inside. I will be back again.

Lovely woman-owned cafe with delicious vegan and dairy-free breakfast options! The cinnamon buns are the best! I appreciate that the desserts aren't too sweet.
