Parking is limited to about 4-5 spots. And if you're not paying attention you will miss it. There are two entrances. One takes you directly into the market and the other goes straight into the restaurant. The dining area is minimal if you choose to eat in but you can place a quick order to go as well. They have things like egusi, okra soup, meat stew, and jollof rice. Portions are reasonable and the taste always meets my expectations.

They have some of the best Egusi soup. I enjoyed my lunch here and the selection of spices.

This has been the best local find. The owner is awesome. She is willing to make whatever taste of home my husband is looking for. She works hard to work with customers.

The market itself has a great selection of mainly West African food supplies. Almost anything you would want from back home is here, even oha leaves, which is kind of a rare thing to find in America. The restaurant however, did not have everything we expected. They have a daily menu of what is being served that day, about 3 or so items, so I'd definitely call ahead if you are craving something in particular. They might not have it. The lady that owns the store was very friendly and helpful and the pepper soup I had was so good and reminded me of my moms. I just wish there were more options. We ended up going elsewhere to finish off the rest of our meal since they didn't have everything we wanted.

Amazing service! My first time trying west African food and it was incredible! The owners explained every dish to me and told me what to expect. The dishes were absolutely delicious and flavorful! Everything was served to us fresh and Hot. My husband and I are really picky fish eaters but we loved the fish. The fish didn't taste fishy the goat was very soft. LOVED IT!!!! Will come back.

This market may be small but you will get the items you need. They offered hot food as well. I ate the stew and fufu. Sorry no pics. I ate it all :)

So the food is great.... but as of recent, since the owner hasn't been working much, the portion size seems to fluctuate. Also, since the owner hasn't been working the register, the price you are rung up for, seems to fluctuate. Tuesday I can come in and buy soup w/Fufu only and pay 15.99 and the next day I pay 16.99. One day I can come in and get chicken as my meat of choice and I'm charged 18.99 though2 days prior I paid 17.99. I never comment, I normally just take my food and go. Other than that the food is wonderful, definitely much better than another location here that is no competition.

You've got better luck going anywhere else but here. These people close whenever they want to. Half the time they never have what you want. The food portions are smaller than other African spots. For the price and wasted gas going there to see if they have food and they don't is just not worth it to me, On 4 separate occasions I have tried to get food and they were either out of it or not open on a random weekday. Never coming back here again. "Tip: call first"-- they don't even answer the phone. Go somewhere else.

We had lunch there and it was great. We'd never been to an African restaurant here in town before. They had a cafe connected to the restaurant. After a delicious meal we went to the grocery area and bought some ingredients. They we so nice to us and we chatted about our experience and cooking. It was a great experience. We will be back!
