Adams Sandwich Shoppe

I have been here a few times and it's a no frills spot with yummy food. Parking can be a bit of a pain if it's busy, but it's worth it. Their burgers are some of my favorite in the city. I call in my order sometimes and I'd say the wait is around 15-30 minutes for fresh food so I'm never mad about it. They're always nice, but not overly friendly (I mean that in the best way) - not the "overly fake customer service I'm going to get fired if I don't show all my teeth nice". I think I usually spend around $23-30 for 2 people when I go so burgers, fries, drinks, and a little tip for the jar. This is a place I suggest if you're on the East side of the river and want a solid meal.

This place is AMAZING! First of all, the options are wonderful. There are breakfast options, burger / fries options, and sandwich options. Furthermore, there is a snack bar too! Adam's had an ice cream counter, milkshakes, chips, and popcorn. Not only are there an immense amount of options, but the service was wonderful as well. The cook was very kind and accommodating. Adam's was also very clean as well. If you are looking for a local hole in the wall, this is the place to go!

Small place. Trying to support local. They were out of beef due to supply demand. So instead of Philly cheesesteak I got the Ruben. It was greasy and very little kraut. Will go back another day for the cheesesteak.

Good old local shop, they do the basics well! Some of my favorites are eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese in a pita or hash & eggs. When I want to splurge I add a waffle.

Swing by this great little sandwich shop today for another great lunch. Took a friend of mine for his first visit to a real Yankee sandwich shop. If your from PA or New Jersey, you know....all da way, wit whiz! I ordered a cheese steak with onions and provolone and added mustard. Four guys who came in after I ordered thought my sub looked awesome and asked for my order so they could get one as well. If you're in the Lakewood area, you gotta stop in for a great meal. Get a bag of UTZ Chips and enjoy.

This is a small, local business that is located at the end of a strip mall that has definitely seen better days. They offer a simple menu, with an emphasis on sandwiches. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, I am quite the fan of sandwiches.The service here is friendly and the food, while simple, is very good. I live in Orlando, Florida and have never understood while sandwich shops are not more popular in Orlando. I see that in Jacksonville, as well as in Tampa, sandwiches and sandwich shops are very popular.This is the kind of place that you will pass by a thousand times and it is quite easy that you might never even notice it. If that is the case, that is your loss.

Very tasty. Will def be back. Eggs were fresh. Grits were tasty. No complaints. Very easy atmosphere.

Food is not bad however I went to their website and looked over the menu, called it in, and when the owner checked me out it was double the amount it was on their web site menu. Prices are not what they say on the site. Owner tried to tell me that it wasn't their website but it was . Then he said they don't own the site so they cant change the prices on THEIR website. Just a heads up when placing a take out order.

Old timer fell but great good fresh to order as well. Definitely will be a repeat customer one of the very few sandwich stops worth coming too repetitively
