Adam's Rib

We came in at 12:30p and our order was incorrect, the waiter acted as if I did it on purpose - but the order was fixed. After now learning that was the owner - I am disappointed.

After driving by and hearing their ads on the local radio station, I decided to give Adam's Rib Company a try. Parking is out front, along the side, and back behind the restaurant, which is on NW 13th Street. I got the rib dinner half slab with potato salad and BBQ baked beans as my two sides. The meal also came with a piece of Texas toast. For the price ($22) there was a lot of food but the ribs ended up being more greasy than flavorful. Additional seasoning would have really kicked them up a notch. The BBQ baked beans and potato salad were about what you would expect and the Texas toast was literally just a piece of bread with little if any butter or spices on it. I'm hoping this was just a one-off circumstance for Adam's Rib Company and that the next time I try it I am more impressed.

Mixed emotions on this review. We ordered delivery, and everybody loved loved loved the food.The problem was that one of our salads was supposed to be Dairy Free, yet both had cheese and no dressing for either salad. Most of the dinners included fries. Yet there was no salt and ketchup.One of our guests ordered the fish sandwich but came with no tartar sauce.The only meal that was not enjoyed was the hamburger. While the garlic bread was good, the baked beans and corn were simply OK but disappointing.If we try this bbq restaurant again hopefully they do a better job with the whole order cause I truly enjoyed the ribs.

Great pregame dining spot in Gainesville, with consistently good food and service. Their barbecue is always flavorful and they have a bunch of different sauces to choose from.The servers were attentive and friendly and the food came out quickly.It is a homey no-frills bbq joint without being divey.Bathrooms are always clean which is a big plus! We have been many times on game day and they do a great job and getting people in and out in a speedy fashion.

Even my wife said best ribs she's had in florida by far, and we've been here over 20 years. Friendly staff and nice dining area.

We couldn't decide what we wanted so we got the Adam's sampler. Pulled pork, brisket, 1/2 a chicken, 6 ribs (BIG ribs), collards, fries, Mac and cheese, plus garlic bread. For $47.00 it was a huge amount of food. The chicken was my favorite part. It is really easy when smoking chicken to end up with dry meat. This bird was juicy and delicious. The collards needed a little bit of the vinegar pepper sauce to punch them up a bit, but overall everything was excellent.

Their ribs are amazing. Finger licking good! The parking spot might be complicated for newcomers.

this is the best bbq i town large pork sandwich large creamy and sweet coleslaw, beans were sweet and temperature hot my bill with unsweetened tea was $15 and i was full can't wait to try their ribs but i know the pork sandwich was great highly recommend this place check their online site for good coupons

We recently moved and are so happy that Adam's is walking distance from where we live. Some of our favorite easy dinners have been just walking down to Adam's. We feel like we've had everything on the menu by now - I always love the macaroni and cheese and the chopped chicken sandwich. I'm also a sucker for corn nuggets! The sweet tea is really the cherry on top. Service is always quick! The ambiance isn't trendy - but there is something warm and homey to me about the booths and Gator decor. We love Adam's!
