This place is amazing! 1) everything is made fresh- and you can taste it! 2) we had the breakfast sandwich, mixed berry pastry, & caramel latte. All were amazing- but the iced latte is better than the hot. 3) they have a little market of goods to die for- pastas, flavored liqueurs, cocktail mixes along with fresh bread and kitchen accessories. 4) the people who work here are amazing! Very helpful 5) the look and feel of the Bakehouse makes you feel at home. Everything you want from a local bakery shop. Something to note: there is no internet on the weekends and during peak hours at this spot. This is to keep the flow going as this is a small shop and not a Panera LOLWe have visited this place 2x now and plan to make it our regularly spot.

1748 Bakehouse is an absolute gem! The breakfast sandwich was served on the biggest, fluffiest English muffin I've ever seen, and the smoked mayo and gruyere fondue took it to the next level--so good. I also tried the cauliflower curry soup, which was perfect for a "cold" Florida day, warm and packed with flavor.We couldn't resist the jalapeño pull-apart (so good we forgot to let the camera eat first!). Overall, this bakery is super cute and staff was super friendly. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, fresh ingredients. The salads are incredible - I highly recommend the tarragon chicken salad. Absolutely delicious fresh baked pastries are all amazing. Sometimes I just get a side of bacon and tomato with a pastry - a perfect breakfast. And the kombucha selection is on point! With such great food in this very hip bakery/cafe, you will not go wrong for lunch or breakfast. While the ingredients are great, I've found almost all their sandwiches (except the BLT) to be a little heavy handed. They pack too much. Huge slice of bread with a thick layer of greens and too many ingredients. Would like more simple sandwiches. The atmosphere is great, but there is not a lot of seating. This is made worse by people hogging tables unreasonably, such as while waiting for a to go order or over half an hour after finishing their meal, and the bakehouse seems to encourage that. It wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't such minimal seating. And the outdoor area is not very pleasant. But the staff is extremely nice. They are all very friendly people who clearly love working here. However you came upon this place - whether driving by, seeing them at the arts market, or just on Yelp - this is a stop worth checking out. I will certainly keep coming back.

It is no secret how amazing this place is when you walk in and see the crowd! Despite there being a large crowd on Saturdays, the service was quick! The people were kind! And the food and drinks were great! I had the lemonade special, a loaf with some sort of lemon and strawberry mix and the bacon, goat cheese and bell pepper quiche! All of which were amazing! They also have a cute little spot when you walk in with many items you'll want to buy for yourself and all your friends! It's soo cute inside, very picturesque! So if you need some instagram shots while you have a bite to eat this might be your place! I can't wait to go back to try more on the menu!

absolutely phenomenal. I was in the area and walked into this place without knowing what I was getting into and wow... I'm so glad I discovered this gem. I only got the seasonal toast 10/10. Such a great combo of flavors. The best part was the bread, idk how they make it but I could literally eat the plain bread that comes with the toast its sooooooo good. Service was great, everyone was super kind and helped me decide what to order. A very personal and warm atmosphere! Will be back for sure

I recently attended a farm tour event and was delighted to discover a new eatery on our tour. The establishment was bustling with activity and situated in the heart of Springfield. The menu showcased farm-fresh ingredients, and I opted for the mojo chicken salad. Although I had anticipated a sandwich, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a visually appealing salad. The pesto sauce was exquisite, and the tomatoes were a vibrant red, indicating their freshness. Overall, it was a delightful culinary experience with top service. I highly recommend.

The food is so good I will go to Riverside Arts Market just to get a loaf of bread.The staff is always dressed in eclectic styles to match the cool vibes that this bakery/coffee shop/third place meeting spot :) I have always been 10/10 satisfied after eating here. It's also the perfect place to buy someone a unique gift with 904 flare.

Delicious!!! Baked goods, fresh salads, yummy sandwiches, ... all reasonably priced for the quality and quantitiy. This cute, little place is snuggled into the Springfield community. Street parking is usually easy to find. The staff are kind, attentive, and timely. It's not a large place, so you might have to wait a bit for a seat but seated customers are mindful when new customers are waiting. ** They also have cute items for sale. I'll go back to buy items closer to Christmas time.

Small, cute coffee shop and so much more. I've been hooked on this place since the first time I tried it. Now I can't be near it without stopping in. My fave has to be the "Everything" pastry. It's so soft and fluffy and the cream cheese justs gives it an extra kick! The staff is so nice and friendly always smiling. If you are looking for a good pastry item, good coffee, or a gift for someone that isn't an everyday type of gift, this is your spot!
