Every now and then, even after almost 13 years in Atlanta, I come across a spot that is a hidden gem and babeeeeeeeee... Not only is Jack's New York Deli a hidden gem, however, it is the definition of GOOD FOOD!I came across Jack's New York Deli as my little sister wanted to try it as she was on her journey for a Good Pastrami sandwich. Though we don't live anywhere near, we chose a day and went for lunch. Jack's New York Deli sits off a Main Street, however, it's tucked off in the corner. Pay attention to your GPS because if you blink too hard, you may pass it. LoL. Walking in, the establishment is super clean. The all glass front provides an ample source of natural light, and they even have patio seating if you choose to enjoy the weather in full. With a traditional sub shop setup, I took a moment to review the menu, then headed to the counter to place my order. With an abundance of choices, it was soooooooooooooo hard not to order every sandwich that I loved. Yet, with keeping my summer body (ha) in mind, I decided on the Chicken Club and a Salad with extra Feta. Baaaaaabyyyyyyyyyy. Wow. All I can say is, Jack's New York Deli understood the assignment. Quality meat. Fresh fixings. Great portions. Crisp salad. And an amazing dressing. I'm talking a true HIT. Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING was a miss. The chicken club presented a moist and perfectly golden boneless breast. Juicy tomato. Crisp lettuce. And, perfectly buttered white bread... This sandwich was bite after bite of robust flavor and texture perfection. Paired with the slice of pickle, the chicken club is a true 10/10. The salad was simple yet still above standard. The ingredients were all fresh and nothing was soggy. The salad wasn't just thrown on the plate, however, appeared to be blended as a salad should and paired with the right amount of dressing for the size of the salad. Another 10/10. Last but not least, the service at Jack's New York Deli was spot on. I was greeted upon entry and the staff was engaging and friendly as I placed my order. At this point we're three for three: Food, Cleanliness, and Service. A total WIN!!!!!!Though I live on the other side of town, don't be surprised if you see me at Jack's New York Deli. I'm on a mission to taste the entire menu. Until next time, Jack's New York Deli thank you for my food happiness experience.

Quick service, no frills and organized team! What more can you ask of a deli ? I enjoyed my NY Rueben sandwich. The fresh cut fries were good just slightly soggy. My husband got the pancakes, egg and bacon. He said they were delicious. His food looked great. The 5oz of chicken salad I got on the side was $5.95 and completely dried out. I don't recommend. The sandwiches here pack a good punch. Def know what to order and you won't be disappointed.

Breakfast only review: Came to New Yorker Deli for the first time and unfortunately was disappointed in the authenticity of the food. The "New York" style of bagel and breakfast sandwiches is iconic and I recognize that it'd be unfair to expect something identical to what you get in authentic New York Delis. The disappointment I had was that I ordered two standard items, bagel with cream cheese and bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The bagel is $2.99 with an extra .75 for cream cheese. The disappointment isn't the price but that what you get is just a normal toasted bagel, with a very small individually packaged cream cheese. It wasn't this fresh oversized bagel that you'd expect from a restaurant calling itself a New Yorker Deli. And then to add on that, they up charge and only provide a small prepackaged side of cream cheese. If you've ever had a NY bagel, you know they pile it on. This was such a small amount, it could barely just cover the two halves with the thinnest layer. My kids even asked if there was more and made a comment that there wasn't nearly enough to just cover the bagel. The bacon, egg, and cheese was just okay. They said it comes on a Kaiser roll but mine was just served on a hamburger bun. Maybe they would say it was a "Kaiser hamburger bun" but it was certainly not what you'd buy as a Kaiser roll even from a Publix or Kroger deli. Was hoping to find a good morning spot for on the way to work but from a breakfast standpoint, if you're familiar with NY deli breakfasts, my experience was that this just isn't it. Maybe lunch/dinner is where they shine more and are more authentic but sad to say it wasn't my experience for breakfast.

It seemed like I have been going on a scavenger hunt for a pastrami sandwich that reminds me of home. Every place I tried, I threw the sandwich in the trash. However this past weekend, my brother and I decided to try Jack's. I had it on my list to try and the reviews helped me get there sooner rather than later.Upon walking in we were greeted by a young man who took our orders. I decided to get the Peachtree Pastrami... on a sub roll with provolone cheese and mustard. It came with a free side, so I decided on French fries but also added a side of pasta salad. The order was ready so much quicker than I expected, which I was grateful for. Because it was a really nice day, my brother and I decided to sit in the covered patio area. It was nice and quiet out there, even with others enjoying their lunches. Now let's get to the foooood. Oh my Lord!!! Everything was simply amazing. The pastrami was juicy and a great cut of meat. When I bit into the sandwich I had no words. My brother asked me how it was and I couldn't talk because it reminded me of back home. It was PERFECT! The French fries were freshly cut with the perfect amount of salt and crunchiness. And we're not going to talk about that pasta salad..... it was soooo good. The dressing that was placed ontop of it was the icing on the cake.If I could give Jack's 10 stars I would. I am really looking forward to going back anytime I do have my pastrami craving because I know I'll be in good hands!!!!

I took my daughter and her fiancé to Jack's New Yorker Deli a few weeks ago for breakfast. Our breakfasts were great. My better half was not with us for the breakfast so we returned this weekend for lunch. We shared a New Yorker Reuben and a Jack's Outlaw Cheesesteak. Both of us opted for house cut fries with our sandwiches. The restaurant was crowded with diners when we arrived with many opting to sit outside in the covered patio (even though it was a hot Sunday afternoon). We found a table inside and I placed our order at the counter. Your meals are delivered table side by the servers and were freshly prepared and hot. Condiments including spicy deli mustard, ketchup, and Jack's "The Dust" (a seasoned salt blend) are available at each table. The servers and cooks are super friendly and always great you with a smile. If you want true New York deli sandwiches, you owe it to yourself to give Jack's New Yorker Deli in Smyrna a try soon.

No frill NYC style deli. I appreciated the cute booths and tables that reminded me of old style deli decor. I also appreciated that you just order right at the counter too and they bring your order out to you.I really liked my everything bagel. It was fresh and the best bagel I've tasted outside of New York. However I wasn't a big fan of the salmon. It was a bit too Smokey and fishy tasting for me. I prefer more of a cured lox on my bagel.I also tried a bite of my s/o's Reuben that was awesome and ordered a black and white cookie that was good. This review is based more on just the lox sandwich, which was a 3 while my overall experience was a 4. I'd definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.

Hunter was friendly and greeted me when I walked in the place. I asked a few questions as it was my first time. I went with the Linden sandwich and a side of potato salad. The food was fresh and made quickly. The prices were decent. I would come back to this place. I would recommend this place to others if wanting lunch and or a sandwich. Thanks again hunter for your recommendation and great service.

Great place to grab a solid sandwich or breakfast! Moving from Brooklyn, NY, behind the counter looks and operates just like a upper end bodega. Authentic! You can't go wrong with any sandwich here. Everyone is friendly, and it is very casual to relax if you want to eat there.

Food is good always. Last time I went I ordered online, had a confirmation number, they took myMoney and everything. When I get there they didn't have it in there system. So the worker wrote it down for it to be made. 10-15 mins later my husband goes back inside to get the food and it was never made. Service was not good on this day and if you order online make sure you know your order is being made. They said toast was the issue. Never offered to make it better.

Well, these people are "okay" at best; clearly NOT from New York. I ordered a BEC and every New Yorker knows what a Kaiser roll is, they advertise a Kaiser roll and I received a potato bun. Please don't advertise something you know nothing about.Update once the Business Owner replies: I'm sorry Paul, your response just shows a lot of excuses. As a Business Owner you should STOP, LOOK and LISTEN to your customers, I'm not the only person who reviewed your food. Maybe since you've been here for 22 years you should take a trip back to New York and check out some Deli's so you could understand what we your customers in your "community" are talking about. Georgia is a big state too, but you'll find that anywhere you go grits will always be the same.
