I've been here twice in the past two weeks and the food and the service have been on point. The ambiance is nice and sure beats some of the ramen shops in Tempe with their 6-8 tables and minimal decoration. Highly recommend the Pork Katsu Ramen. I'll be back for more soon!

Super packed when we got there. But was able to get served at bartop immediately. Nice little neon lights around the restaurant. Got the gyoza, Karaage & Tonkotsu. Gyoza was alright nothing special. Karaage was loaded but at price point of $13, it better be. Aside the point, was definitely very juicy, wished was a bit crispier, spicy mayo was also solid. The ramen was very solid Broth: nice flavor profile, wish it was creamierNoodles: Biased on the skinnier noodles, so those were fire Egg: Had a nice sweet taste to it, and was made properly with a more firm profile than runny (90/10)Meat: authentic slab of fat Chashu, made well, wished it had more seasoning but very solid Definitely best ramen spot in the south/ west side of the valley. Ramen dominates in Tempe/Mesa Would come back again if in the area

Well this was a delightful surprise. We came here for two bowls of ramen and some takoyaki. Everything was actually really fantastic- the chashu in the ramen was *PERFECT*, it melted right in my mouth and was wonderfully fatty and porky. The mouthfeel of the noodles was spot-on, slightly chewy and springy. I asked if they had any shichimi togarishii, and they didn't, but the nice gentleman brought me a chili paste which more than made up for it. I don't know what it was, but it had just a perfect little burn and a really unique flavor that I've never encountered before. I asked him what it was and he said that it was just a ground chili that they make in the back. It was great, but I wish I knew what it was called so that I could ask for it next time. The decor is hip and funky, with a distinct pop vibe to it. They don't have a ton of seating, so it might get a little crowded at night, but it's definitely a cool little place to come hang out for some great ramen or curry and a drink.Come here. Tell your friends about it. We're finally starting to get some nice things here in the West Valley and we want to keep 'em, by golly!!!

I was excited to see this place open in the neighborhood! This was my second time ever having ramen and it was so good! I also tried the shrimp tempura , delicious! Definitely worth a try! The staff was friendly and helpful in making a choice. My only complaint was that it was a little hot in the venue. Not sure if their AC was out or what because I believe I saw swamp coolers.

We came during a super busy time on Sunday. They quickly seated us on bar seating. Food was incredible and service was really great. They ran a little long on delivering us our food, but were on top of things and apologetic as we waited. Made up with dumplings for our group which was a very nice treat and attention to detail. Blown away to have this level of quality in the area. 5 stars!

I was so worried to go there because I don't eat pork but I'm so glad they accepted substituting the pork for chicken. Good service Clean environment Good food Will definitely be coming back, idc if it's weird to eat hot ramen in 115 degrees weather.

Dang. This place is so good. Came here with my parents last week. We had driven passed several times but decided to stop in. Immediately impressed by the decor and ambiance of the space. Feels like a cool ramen restaurant in downtown phoenix, not in a strip mall in laveen. The service was prompt and helpful. I had no issues and were really impressed with the speed of the service. Food was warm and delicious. I cannot express how delicious my udon was. My parents kept sneaking bites. We all went home full and happy. What a great addition to this area. I will be back!

As Laveen continues to develop, the greatest and coolest thing is seeing new restaurants come into town. The atmosphere here is totally like a an Asian vibe, from Anime on the screens, to decor. Wouldn't even think this would feel like it does. Cool little spot for a date night. Service we good, took care of things right away and served quick. It really was more detailed oriented and super awesome! The food was great, definitely a spot that we will visit again! Flavors were also great, the spice in the chili oil and the food was amazing.Have to try this out

Food: 4/5So glad there's a Japanese restaurant with decent ramen near the west valley! Chicken karaage is a must. I've never had it with matcha powder so it was interesting and I couldn't stop eating it. Chicken pieces are large, perfect amount of breading and crunch, and wasn't overly dry (could be a bit more tender/juicier)Takoyaki is a must for me and this place did it well! Chicken katsu curry was my favorite here, I haven't had good Japanese curry since Orange County (haven't seen it offered in AZ either but maybe I didn't look hard enough). I'd love to try their other curries.Boyfriend got the tonkatsu curry and I got the tantanmen. Both had great flavors in the broth, although a bit too salty for my liking and I felt that was compensating for the broth's richness.Service: 5/5Great recommendations from the staff; the chicken karaage is a local add-on! which I thought was a nice touch (Not on the menu of other stores in the chain).Everything came out really fresh and hot too. We did go towards the later afternoon on a weekday so can't speak to busier times.Ambiance: 4/5Small and cozy; tables are pretty close to other tables so it's a little tough getting in and out along the wall.
