This is what twice cooked pork should look like with lean meat and NOT bacon.

Solid portions and exactly what you expect for Chinese takeout. Will definitely order again!

My family and I visited this restaurant the other night and the service and food were spectacular! I think it's a shame that most people do takeout for the food, because the inside is very peaceful and charming!

I ran into this restaurant while driving through Issaquah. Yelp reviews were ok so I thought I'd give it a try. Server not to friendly and seemed perturbed that I asked for restroom To ash my hands. She removed a screen barrier to let me through. I waited for over 1/2 an hour for my food and I was the only customer in the restaurant many take out orders were picked up as I waited. Note that there is no preference to take care of customers that actually enter their restaurant. I ordered the hot and sour soup. Very mediocre. Nothing spectacular. Also ordered Kung Pao chicken. Meat was so marinated that it had a very soft texture. Plenty of peppers and onions. Generous portion. Again very average. I'll continue my search for a go to Chinese restaurant outside of Seattle.

We ordered take out: 2 cups of hot and sour soup (while chock full of goodies, it wasn't the least bit sour and tasted more like motor oil); mapo tofu (didn't have ground pork, had slices of pork--wtf--and again, tasted nothing like mapo tofu) and lastly the sliced fish in hot gravy (it was in fact spicy and had a good amount of fish, but it also had gelatinous noodles in it not listed in the menu, which were disgusting and absorbed every bit of liquid, and again, the taste was very off. Very sweet, and missing that special something). This food made my stomach turn, and was pretty awful. Not only will i never return to J&J, i make a strong recco for you not to go, either. Yuck.

Ordered Tofu with bean sauce, vegetable fried rice and stir fry beans. Food tastes really good and flavorful. You can ask for hot sauce if you like hot and spicy. Service was excellent Ambience I would rate 3/5. Food 5/5. Price 5/5.Worth having a good dinner. Would definitely visit again.

Great for takeout. Seafood hot pot, crispy tofu, cumin lamb & Singapore rice noodles are my faves. Nice sit-down place when the takeout's not busy.

We enjoyed the food to go at this restaurant but twice in a row after paying with a credit card fraudulent charges appeared on the card. There were no other vendors we used that card for. Have a good meal there and pay with cash.

Probably the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The chicken was so hard it made a clinking sound on the plate, the breading was so thick and oil logged my stomach hurts. I probably had 3 bites before I had to just give up and leave a full plate on the table.
