This is a nice Italian spot in the South Bay area, was greeted and seated almost immediately that was nice. I ordered the Lemon Caper Tagliata and it was seasoned perfectly. The steak was cooked correctly and complimented the flavorful pasta. I split a delicious tiramisu with my wife and had a nice espresso.I will say the service was lacking and there were long periods of time with an empty glass. To add we had a larger group of 11 so gratuity was automatic 20% you'd expect the staff to be more attentive.

Went here several times when they first opened. It's been a while, but came back this past weekend for a friend's birthday event. It's a small/cozy restaurant with intimate yet casual vibes. Clean with nice decor. Two separate dining rooms, our most recent party of about 30 took up most of the second area. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but the servers and staff handled our large party well. They were kind and attentive. Don't come here if you want something in a rush. We were given Bread with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar, a charcuterie board, bruschetta, and their soft mozzarella to start. All these appetizers were tasty intros to our meal. Lots of cheese and bread, it's easy to get full from these appetizers. Husband ordered their ribeye special. Multiple people in the group ordered ribeye, and I noticed some ribeye were boneless while others were bone-in. It may have been because of our large group, but my husband ordered medium and he was given steak that was well done. Even then, the steak was juicy, well seasoned and relatively tender in that well done state lol. I ordered the salmon pasta w citrus cream. Noodles were al dente, lots of sauce and quite satisfying. Didn't get too much lemon flavor.. would've liked a little more. The kids got chicken Alfredo and a pepperoni pizza. They were happy! Very pleased with all our experiences dining here. It's definitely one of Chula Vista's hidden spots. Prices have gone up, but are comparable to similar restaurants. Street parking only, can be a little inconvenient to find a spot.

Absolutely in love. Happy that this restaurant is minutes from my house. Such an intimate and cozy restaurant. The service was really good and the décor was simple yet elegant. Food was wonderful. I ordered the homemade bread to start and it was absolutely delicious. I tried the Italian soda for the first time and was so delicious! I ordered the pork lion with pasta and veggies and it was very good. Pork loin was just the slightest bit dry but still tasty. My husbands chicken parm was absolutely perfect! Lastly, we had carrot cake for dessert recommended by our waiter and boy oh boy... I'm speechless! Dare I say the best carrot cake I've ever had!?!? I think, yes. This restaurant should consider selling the cakes whole. I know I'd buy it for sure! I left wanting to try more and more of their menu. Go check them out. You can thank me laters.

I've been coming here for years and I always have a good experience - good food, good service, and they have a very intimate atmosphere. I recommend ordering the Tagliata with fettuccine and cream sauce.

Lovely little place. Love ordering out, but sometimes dine in. I like their pizzas. Really big on their crab Mac n cheese and Alfredo with salmon. Their Beet Carpaccio and Caesar salad is also yummy. Prices are not bad for the portions, very filling.

Was in the neighborhood craving italian food and this place did not disappoint. Lovely ambiance, good service and decent pricing here. Ordered the caeser salad, salmon and the penne with lemon sauce. The salad was well dressed and excellent. It was plenty big enough to share. The pasta sauce was delicious and the serving was large. I only with i could have added a protein. Hubby loved the salmon.I would not go out if may want to eat her me but if you are in the area it is worth a visit.

Everything is perfect in this place i love to take mi wife here, its very good quality food at a very good price!

Service and food simply amazing! Our table had a personal lamp which set the tone for a relaxing dinner setting. Overall a great experience. My family and I will definitely be back.

Such a romantic little spot. Food was amazing. My husband had the clam chowder and a slice of pizza. I had the chicken parm and lemon caper pasta. For dessert: tiramisu, of course! Our 1yr old sat down and ate quietly and calmly. That at a restaurant is quite rare. Hubby and I both agreed their clam chowder is the best we've ever tasted. Good prices, great service, delicious food!! Would definitely recommend.
