Istanbul Doner Burrito

Highly recommend it! I got a beef doner wrap and it was amazing! They were very friendly and generous with the ingredients. Also, thank you so much for the baklava!! Baklava was amazing. Will definitely visit again!

TLDR: interesting kebab/chipotle/cava mashup Bowls that are a mashup of the above. The meat is primarily composed of options like doner while the bowl sides/sauces channel chipotle and cava. Overall a very interesting place that I was happy to find in the food court.

Great little spot for a quick lunch in the Longwood Galleria food court. Tasty kebab as a roll up or in a bowl. It competes more with Chipotle or Boloco rather than it being a more traditional doner takeaway you'd see in Europe. Meats are preshaved rather from a spit directly, but no matter - the flavors are there and they have great options for toppings and sauces. Saffron rice & hummus was really tasty. Glad it's near my work, I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Also, friendly staff behind the counter - was a pleasant experience.

I first tried this place in early November when they first opened and was quite disappointed-- the beef doner was greasy, the rice was dry, and the tortilla, although warmed up on their heated press, was too doughy and chewy. I decided to give them another shot and was really glad to discover that they've improved significantly since the first time I visited!My first recommendation is to get a bowl, not a burrito or wrap-- they give you massive portions that are enough for the bowl to be split into two meals. I got a bowl with beef doner (an added $3) so the bowl ended up being close to $18 before tip. If you think of this as $18 for two meals, it's not too bad. Another perk of getting a bowl is that their saffron rice is savory and tasty!The employee who served me was happy to tell me all about their various bowl add-ons and I could tell she was proud of their food. Since it wasn't particularly busy at the time, I asked her if she would make me a bowl with everything that is her favorite. She built me a bowl with their two types of rice, a very large portion of beef doner, roasted vegetables, tzatziki, hummus, a heaping portion of guacamole (Chipotle needs to take notes), black beans, tomatoes, mixed peppers, parsley, hot sauce, and garlic sauce.I was glad to discover that their beef doner improved a lot since the last time I visited! This time it was tender, nicely seasoned, and not greasy at all. I really enjoyed their hummus which had an earthy, toasty flavor and a subtle hint of garlic. Their roasted vegetables were also thoroughly cooked and came with whole cloves of roasted garlic! Everything else was very fresh. I'm so impressed by how much their food has improved in just a few short months.

Located inside the longwood food court, this new fast casual establishment is Chipotle style build your own burrito or bowl. I didn't see the burrito but the bowl is same size as the chipotle bowls and come stacked with food. Meats come as an additional $2-3 but at $16-18 a bowl I think it's worth it. Guacamole isn't extra! Onto the food. Yellow basmati was flavorful and moist. Chicken was a little overcooked but good still. You get to choose up to 10 toppings which is great. The Turkish hot sauce was delicious. 1/24/23 P.S. the $10 for $15 is not working yet. I think they're still working out some kinks. The manager says they haven't started any promotions yet.

Just got the doner plate after seeing my doctor at BBI. It was great. The staff was super nice and they let my customize my plate. The saffron rice, meat, salad stuff was very satisfying. I was happy yo have another alternative place in the foodcourt.

High quality food and good selection. Homemade hummus. Friendly staff. Would dine here again.

Ordered burrito and waited 15 mins and no food. On a time crunch so had to cancel. They didn't know how to cancel order.

Istanbul Doner Burrito is a wonderful addition to the Longwood Galleria Food Court for several reasons. The food is tasty and healthy, and the portions are always generous. Most of what I enjoy there is enough for two meals. The service is always friendly and efficient, and they take care and pride in its preparation, particularly the proprietor Enis. When I can, I prefer to give my business to a hardworking and deserving family type of business like this one, instead of a large fast food chain whose food may not be as healthy nor service as dedicated. Among their many good menu items, I recommend their Quesadillas-Gozleme!
