Island Pizza

Island Pizza is one of those gem finds born out of necessity. In the middle of a pizza emergency, we learned that Alfy's had closed their doors for good. In a panic, I did a pizza search on my phone in the maps app and gave it a try...AMAZING! We had the Tomato Basil with roasted garlic, and I can't stop going back! This family-run business is a keeper for sure, and they are super sweet too. Please support this small, local business and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

It can be hard to catch Island Pizza due to a limited staff but they are the best pizza in town and our household eats a lot of pizza... Best textured crust, fresh ingredients, and perfect ratios of cheese, to sauce, to ingredients. That sauce might be a family recipe because it's hard to match. (we've tried..)We've found it's best to call their direct number, the online apps never have their correct hours. Bonus, they sell Golden Glen Cheese in a fridge onsite! (We love to use Judy Parm on anything calling Parm.)

Read the reviews and decided this was the best of the lot, and it was!Ordered a large vegetarian and it was loaded with fresh and delicious veggies. The crust was not paper thin nor overly large. It was just right with some crunch and softness at the same time. Perfect. Very friendly people and excellent service.

Went in today around 12:45pm for lunch. There was one woman ahead of us and the rest of the place was empty. It wasn't the most comfortable of restaurants. Not going to lie, I kinda got the heebie jeebies eating there. They work hard to keep it clean, but it's one of those places that just won't be able to be impeccable because of its age. In fact, while we were there a couple men came in to assess some leak issues(from what I heard). The ice dispenser had some brown stuff in it. There is a little kids area/arcade, but again it didn't look that clean. Island Pizza seems like a family owned business and you can tell that all of them work extremely hard! Even though there were only a couple of us there, they made sure to keep busy. I did notice that one of the workers wore the same gloves while she cooked and while she handled the mop bucket. More heebie jeebies... Besides that, they were all very friendly and gave GREAT customer service the whole time we were there! My son had a cheese pizza and I had an Italian sub. I misjudged the sub when I first got it as it didn't look as appetizing as I hoped. Sure enough, I definitely enjoyed it after biting in. The bread was perfect and the ingredients tasted fresh. The pizza reminded me of a thinner and crispier version of Costco pizza. Which is a good thing! I wouldn't say it's my favorite pizza on the island, but it was still tasty. I like that they have like 5 different pizza sizes to choose from. I was able to use my 10% off from checking in on the Yelp app. They also offer a 10% military discount, but you can't combine the two... like most places.Fabulous service, decent food, but I will probably go to Alfy's instead the next time we need a pizza fix.

Good pizza. Been here a few times and it's always fresh. A little pricey but perfect for a splurge.

They must not want any customers or business. We called a handful of times, and no one answered. That was my first impression which is pretty disappointing considering we were really excited to try their food. Improve the customer service, or maybe hire people who aren't too lazy to answer the phone.

Good food and friendly. One of the better pizzas in town. Will definitely go back or order for delivery.

Tried it after reading the reviews. Got the Prowler pizza,, the right size she for three people, and side salads. We enjoyed the flavors and plan on ordering from there again when we are in town.

Great pizza with good quality toppings and cheese. The owners are so friendly and the pizzas are consistently great. I was ordering from here a lot, and sad to see they recently had to close. I hope they will reopen again in the future.

We ordered the pepperoni and the Prowler. Both were very good. When we went to pick up on the way home, staff was super friendly.
