Island Lodge by Al Lago

Philly was super good, order with extra peppers, onions and cheese if you want a little added flavor. Staff was friendly and very accommodating! Looking forward to visiting this restaurant on a hot summer day!

Love this place! The people here are always so friendly, it's clean, and you get to enjoy Mt. Rainier's view on a clear day. There is a good variety in the food. You can't go wrong with their entrees or even their salads. Our go to appetizer has and always will be the Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze. It's a nice hidden gem for those that don't know there's a restaurant on the island.

The fries are like the ones you get in really bad fast food places. The food is priced like it's high quality but they are terrible. The view is pretty awesome. The set up is weird tho, there is like a dining room separate from the entrance. The bar is a nice area to sit. The place sometimes smells really bad like fish but it's not a primarily fish place so it's off putting.

I took my entire family to this restaurant around Jan 2023 and the food and service was pretty good. However, when I brought a visiting friend over for the second time today, they let us know that we would have to wait for two and half hours for our food, even we made a reservation in The restaurant's reasoning was that the kitchen was busy and the restaurant was almost full. But isn't this normal and expected if you are running a restaurant ? If something really unexpected happened, couldn't the restaurant call in advance and let the patrons know so that they didn't have to drive for like 30 minutes? It is not a great management of your restaurant when you happily accepted a reservation and then told your patrons that they had to wait for two and half hours for their food when they got there. And we literally couldn't wait that long because we had a toddler with us.I was going to recommend this place to whoever visiting me but I probably will not anymore.

The burgers were ok. Service was ok. View was ok cause they sat us at the worst table available. Could have seated at much better table but I guess they reserve those for the island residents. The next time I tried to pick up my food to go with a boat and was told by the fat security guard to leave. Now my rating is two stars.

Absolutely love the fried Brussels sprouts, so light and crispy and tasty. Also loved the coconut shrimp.

I absolutely love this bar/restaurant in Lake Tapps. The inside is cozy and the outside has breathtaking views of Lake Tapps and Mt. Rainier. The perfect combo. Not to mention, their food and drinks here are fantastic. Prices are reasonable and they have a decent size menu so everyone in your group can find something they like. They have seasonal cocktails too and if you check this place out during the fall then you must try the Pumpkin spice cold brew martini. It was so good that I ordered it three times in one sitting! One side note to Yelp readers, this bar/restaurant is located on a golf course so mention at the security gate that you are going to the restaurant so you can get a parking pass. Also, come early for dinner because this place can fill up fast!

Good food and great service the several times we have been there. I really like the steak salad and brunch days!

Super awesome Rainer view. Friendly staff. Just stopped in for beer and fries. It's not cheap but you can't beet the view.
