Such an underrated restaurant! :)They offer a decent range of hotpot flavors and a bunch of other dishes as well! It was our second time coming and we were quite impressed. Compared to other hotpot places that we've been to, the flavors were pretty similar and had a decent amount of toppings. Our favorite part is that they offer a stamp card which is so unique!* Beef Hot Pot: 7/10 - good amount of meat and veggies* Thai Style Hot Pot: 8/10 - nice broth* Honey Kumquat Tea: 9/10 - my family enjoyed itWe came when they first opened and there seemed to be only 1 person working during that time. Even though he was scrambling, he managed to serve all the tables efficiently. My sister and I believe he deserves more than he gets paid. The place is a lot more spacious than we remembered so there are plenty of tables to sit at. It's located in a large plaza with a bunch of other restaurants so parking shouldn't be too difficult but can get crowded at peak times. We'll be sure to return regularly!

I really wanted BP and since I've never had ZZ Hotpot but saw good reviews on this place, I came here to try. Pot menu options are very similar but the taste and the ingredients that go into the pot aren't identical. I tried the Korean Kimchi Pot. The ingredients are as listed: "Pork belly, cabbage, soybean sprout, enoki mushroom, chives, carrots, green zucchini, soft tofu, lobster ball, fish fillet, fish tofu, mini sausage, crown daisy, seaweed, kimchi"- There was a lot of cabbage. Most of the pot was cabbage. - Maybe a bite full of kimchi and soybean sprouts together only- A tiny bundle of enoki- A piece and a half of fish fillet- Mini sausage is spam- 1 lobster ball- 3 or 4 squares of soft tofu- Seaweed was a stack of cut roasted seaweed- 3 big semicircles of zucchini- 4 big cuts of carrotThe taste was much kimchi sour forward, not so much meaty and deep. There's a lot of veg in this and sadly did not find noodles underneath. Each pot does come with your choice of a bowl of vermicelli or rice that has a sprinkle of furikake and a honey kumquat small drink (love this). For a medium spicy, it's a slow kick that isn't very spicy yet you'll find yourself dabbing your nose with a napkin.Overall, it's a good place alone if you don't compare it to the other restaurants. I am very curious how their drinks are. I'd give this place another try again with a different order.

I come to this place every once in a while to eat hotpot and it never disappoints! The staff are very nice and the food is very good. I usually order the garlic rice and taiwanese spicy hotpot and the quality has been consistent. It's not that busy or loud, but I hope more people can give this place a try.

The French colonized Vietnam around the 1850s, which gave birth to a new era of Vietnamese cuisine. They introduced rich and fatty ingredients like dairy: milk, butter, foie gras, etc., so without them, Vietnamese culture wouldn't be where they are today.Zz Hotpot is known for its variety of soupy entrees with various ingredients toppings. On a cold day or in the winter season, this meal warms up the soul, mind, and body. Have a little sesame and ponzu sauce on the side to dip with, and oh my gosh, it's a treat made in heaven. But surprisingly, we ordered the Shaken Beef here as an appetizer to and share with. The beef cubes were on a bed of freshly tossed salad with diced tomatoes and slices of white onions, then garnished with mini-fried garlic chips and parsley. The dish's color was vibrant, and its aroma captivated my nostrils. The richness of the butter and sauteed beef created a salivating experience. So I immediately grabbed my fork and picked up some meat and vegetables, and wow...that beef was so tender, most likely a tenderloin, and juicy. The beef oozed savoriness, but the raw white onions and tomatoes complimented this exquisite bite in no time. But don't take my word for it. Give it a try and let me know. :)

Nice new food spot, run by younger people. Food is very similar to Boiling Point with a couple of their own twists. There seems to be more hot pot options as well as more appetizers... Not to compare. Not going to lie, it isn't the cleanest establishement I've been to, but they are busy - and I give them credit for doing their best. If I was in the area I would definitely consider coming by again.I had the House Pot. They didn't skimp on the ingredient but I do feel that I could have ate more and next time may add more side than just quail egg. :D

Great service and delicious food! Went with a big group of friends, almost all of us ordered hotpot. They don't skimp on meats, flavors are good and the sauces enhances the flavors even more. The noodles are also good, as well as their calamari.

My family ordered Taiwanese medium spicy hotpots, which were extremely salty and oil. Disappointed! No owner at kitchen tonight maybe!

This is a great substitute for Boiling Point, especially because the BP nearby is NOT good. ZZ Hotpot House has great options for hotpot flavors. The taiwanese spicy is good. Service is great. They even serve free honey kumquat tea, very refreshing. They have stamp cards to reward loyalty. 10/10 would come back.
