Zach's Chicken

Wow I think about this chicken everyday. Chicken sandwiches are my favorite fast food, since Chick-fil-A raised their prices and lowered the quality of their chicken I haven't been able to find a place that I crave the same way I did pre covid chick fil a. Zach's blows them out of the water in every regard. These strips are comically large think half a chicken breast freshly butterflied made to order. Nobody has as fresh ingredients or as generous portions as Zach's. As for the technique you know these people see food as an art. They aren't just making fried chicken with all the teenage against or midlife resentment that you'd get from any other fast food joint. These are made with love. They let the oil drip off instead of soaking in so be patient they can't make these as fast as mc nuggets. But here's the kicker for me the reason that I'd give them 100+ stars for if I could. Their service is unmatched. I was out with a group of 20 people they all decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings cause they're ignorant or maybe they hate themselves or their mothers didn't love them. That's beside the point. I could not bring myself to get anything from B-dubs when Zach's is right across the street calling my name. So I call Zach's and let them know I'm in a rush so I'd like to place the order over the phone. Jordan, God bless your soul, let's me know they don't take phone orders, but starts my order anyways in good faith without taking any payment info. I get there in 5 minutes and my order is ready within 1 minute of getting there I pull up to BWW and the boys haven't even had their order taken before I introduce them to the hangry Zach Risky (mild spice I think it's dipped in chili oil).I converted the sinners that day and needless to say given the option no one in that group will choose 2.5 star Buffalo Wild Wings over Zach's again. I'll update my review with pictures next time I go.

This location in Zach's Chicken shares a dinning room with a Pita place. The Zach's Chicken kiosk has a couple of tablets to place orders. It's a pretty efficient system. But if you need help the kitchen staff can help you out. Even with a lunch rush, they get food out to you in about 15 minutes or so. The chicken is very tender. I do regret adding the spice because all they do is dip the chicken in unflavored chili oil. Is recommend just get the chicken plain. It's probably better.The chicken is very tender. It lacks flavor a bit.

This place is kind of a regular(ish) stop for me when we want non Asian fried chicken. The chicken tender is perfectly crispy while still being juicy.my husband wishes they'd have legs and thighs like Hotties in Orange but I'm fine with the tenders. The fries are always crispy and the kale salad is a bit overdressed but still really tasty!The Brioche bread is good but a little on the hard side. Maybe it's because we get it to go?We've only ever ordered to go so I can't comment on the service. All I can say is my order has been correct every time!

Clean inside with good customer service so no worries there.. shared space with Pita Pita so if someone in your group doesn't want chicken maybe Mediterranean is more to their liking?Parking is plentiful and there is outdoor seating. The chicken is good and the French fries are great.I didn't get my drink with my to go order which I blanked on until I was a mile away... arrrggghhhh! So frustrating...

Get the tenders! Do not get the burger!The tenders were light and crispy and tasted fresh! Definitely good and crispy!The chicken sandwich we got however in the same order was super stale. The bread was rly tough, the chicken tender was also very tough and the breading was tough. The sandwich hurt my jaw eating it. Shouldn't it have been the same tenders used? Not sure why this was so tough.You can order online or at the kiosk to get your order. The staff will not talk to you when you but will just leave your order for you to pick up.

Crispy and delicious tenders that are also inexpensive. Pictured here is Little Zach, only $8. Kinda nice not paying over $10 for fast food. My go-to place for fried chicken when I'm in the area.

My fav burgers, they are really tasty and overall the place is usually fast, hygienic and I've never had any issues here. Their other location is ok but I prefer this one.

Yes, yes yes I recommend this place! I did a full review and I don't believe I could do it justice because I was so excited about this amazingly light crispy chicken preparation. I'm afraid to ask what kind of oil they used, but I did leave feeling energetic rather than tired after I ate.

Been getting food from here for a bit so I guess its time to rate it.I usually order the Hungry Zack which is 4 pieces of chicken and 2 sauces to choose from. You get to choose from mild, Risky, Fiery or Crazy on the spice level for the chicken. Additionally you get about 7 or so dill pickle slices. I also get an order of fries and/or mashed potatoes and gravy with some extra sauces.The chicken are HUGE pieces, I dont see how they are tenders with how big they are, they have to be breast meat. They have extra crispy batter, not greasy like KFC. They are juicy inside as well. These are very good.The fries are crinkle cut, usually very crispy and seasoned. They tend to only season one spot on all the fries and its on top so any lower dont get seasoned. But they are still really good fries!I really like the mashed potatoes and gravy but they hardly put any gravy on the potatoes, so they end up being dry once the gravy is gone. I have requested extra gravy to try and compensate for this but they ignore my requests. There is where they lost a star.Ive only tasted 5 of the dipping sauces:Zack's Sauce: A chipotle aioli, very smoky, addicting, no heatHomemade Buttermilk Ranch: Basic ranch, you can taste the buttermilkBuff Sauce: Their version of a buffalo sauce. Its ok.Nashville Kicker Hot Sauce: Has a small kick to it that lingers, very vinegary, I like it.Smoky Sauce: A homemade smokey golden BBQ sauce. This is my favorite. Its like a ranch with more spices but no buttermilk.

Simply put this is by far the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I only get to have it at times when I visit my daughter because I live in Fullerton. Seriously a damn good chicken sandwich. I got it with extra pickles.
