Great customer service. Great ambience. Food was delicious. pricing was good.When my wife and I first entered, we felt like we were in a high end sushi place cause we were under dressed. But turns out it's a great low key spot!We for sure are going back Soon.

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! I once ate sushi so delicious I was angry at the it. I thought, oh great now I'm ruined and nothing will ever live up to this amazing fish! It tastes like "sugary fish ;)"This place was like the opposite of that. Now I have ordered albacore carpaccio many times from many sushi restaurants. But nothing was as laughable as this dish. At meager $22 the Albacore Carpaccio looks great at first...but I probably got the same amount of fish as one piece of sushi nigiri cut up into 5 pieces. It was like that old cartoon made in light of the depression, where they chop up bread and meat to make the thinnest sandwich ever eaten. I cannot understand justifying ever eating here. Talk about shrink-flation! Also the service was so bad we had to constantly waive down our server, and put empty plates on nearby tables.

生活雖然普普通通，但是也要學會樂在其中～這家日本料理，其實在我的探店名單中很久了，可是真的來到這裡之後才發現，裝潢看起來漂亮，照相看起來漂漂亮亮，但是時其實沒有物超所值，東西也非常的普通，我甚至覺得價格有一點太高了一點，也許是他處的地方很接近newport beach， 服務態度也很一般，應該不會再來了

Really enjoyed our lunch here. All the servers were nice but things seemed a bit off at lunch service. Things took a long time to come out and they kept apologizing. My husband ordered the "trust" and they served him in 2 separate courses while they didn't bring me any of my order during that time. We ate separately with a lot of time in between and that was not great. I'm wondering if something was just off that day and coursing and timing is usually better. We got mostly all nigiri and loved most all of them. I got a few of their special nigiri and thought they were delicious. The black cod I ordered wasn't my favorite though. Also we didn't care for the hand rolls esp the "Ryan" as it's overpowered by way too much truffle oil (fell apart and we would skip these next time). Crispy tuna rice was phenomenal, one of the best we have had. Looking forward to trying this place again in the future. Apps and nigiri are lovely here and we will stick to those next time.

Yuzu Japanese Sushi Bar is a hidden gem in Costa Mesa They serve high grade sushi and sake cocktails in a very modern and beautiful setting. They have a wide variety of premium rolls, carpaccios, sashimi, and nigiri to choose from I recommend the 10 piece nigiri combo which comes with an assortment of fish like king salmon, bluefin tuna, toro, snapper, and plenty others! The fish is very fresh and the portions are huge! Definitely worth checking out whenever you're in Orange County.Shoutout to June for helping us out and being such a nice lady! She gave us solid recommendations and checked on us multiples times. Amazing service!

Yuzu is yet another stop on our journey to explore restaurants across Orange County since moving to Anaheim, and we're glad we had the chance to experience it.We started with Tokyo Nachos, featuring crisp wonton chips topped with a flavorful spicy tuna mix. The chips were fresh, adding the perfect crunch, while the tuna was well-seasoned and balanced--an excellent start to the meal. The cucumber salad (sunomono) was light and refreshing. Its savory-sour balance complemented the fresh cucumbers, offering a clean, crisp bite that worked well between richer dishes.The yellowtail carpaccio stood out for its delicate presentation and well-paired flavors. The thin slices of yellowtail were tender and rich, with a hint of citrus and subtle heat that enhanced the fish without overwhelming it.For the "main" dishes, we tried two special rolls: the Midnight Roll and the Orange Blossom Roll. While both were enjoyable, the Orange Blossom Roll was the clear standout. The yuzu truffle sauce elevated the roll with its bright, citrusy notes and just the right touch of truffle. It was my first time at Yuzu and i think it may be one of my favorite sushi spots in OC! The service was very professional and quick, and the waiter gave great recommendations as well.We got the snowflake roll, sunset on the 17th, spicy tuna crispy rice, the monster roll, yuzu drop and matcha espresso martini.I would get this exact order again because everything was fantastic.There's booths, circular tables and a bar area so there's adequate seating and the perfect place for romantic dinner nights!

Came here with my mom on a Sunday afternoon and were seated very quickly (you can make a reservation but walk ins are accepted). Such a lovely space with a nice modern/traditional fusion aesthetic! We ordered two nigiri (seared salmon belly and eel) alongside the Miss Lyn and Monster rolls, which was perfect for two people. We also had some nice green tea. The Miss Lyn roll was surprisingly more spicy than I expected, most likely from the chili oil, but had a clean flavor that I really enjoyed. I actually enjoyed the Monster roll a ton - I thought the jalapeño slice would make things too spicy but it was barely a twinge! And the fried onion pieces on top were such a great addition - I want to get this roll again just for that honestly! As for the nigiri, the seared salmon belly just melted in my mouth, and the eel had a great, heavier flavor to finish off the meal. The chefs and servers did a fantastic job in making sure our food came out in a timely manner and making sure our tea and waters were topped up. Overall, a very nice place to have sushi in the Costa Mesa beach area, and I hope to come back soon!

By far the best sushi you'll ever try. The highest quality of fish and the tastiest sushi rolls. Service is absolutely amazing please ask for Steven he took great care of us. Everything came out perfectly. We ordered the following:Yellow tail carpaccio, snowflake roll, ryan handroll, ponzu roll, edamame, millionaire roll (add cream cheese 10/10) we also tried the sweetheart drink and the yuzu lemondrop drink, both were outstanding! We went on a friday night and the vibes were great, it was very busy and a very fun night out for dinner. Parking is easy. Highly recommend! Overall rating is a 12/10!

The highlight for me was the melt-in-your-mouth toro and the creative uni dishes. A bit on the pricier side, but worth every penny for the quality and experience.
