Still one of my favorite boba shops in Irvine. The remodel looks great. Easy parking. Come and create your own experience

BOGO (til 2/13/25) in store only from 1PM-5PM any day: Buy ANY drinks , pay full price - Then get ONE of the following three drinks for free: Brown Sugar Boba Milk OR Mango Tea OR Kiwi Green Tea.First time being here was a bit odd. Two staff working on a Saturday afternoon but no greeting or offer to help order when I entered the door. I saw a customer order from the Kiosk so I followed and got in line since I noticed two staff were busy making drinks behind the counter. I was confused with the BOGO deal but finally figured it out because only selected drinks (3 total) are free with any purchase. However, when I had a question, staff came over and assisted. Mango Cha Cha was refreshing. I could order specific amount/level of sweet so that was good. I recommend 50% instead of 100% because 100% was really sweet for me. Feeling Peachy was good but not was good as Mango. I personally loved Mango so I'm biased here. Mango Tea and Kiwi Green Tea were refreshing as well. Considering the deal, it was a good try. : ) There were seatings inside and people were hanging out and talking. There were plenty of parking in the front. Just be careful driving at the Culver/Trabucco crossroad. Wild drivers out there.

I have never written a review so quickly after my experience WOW!!!!!I am sooo excited that I found this placeI have passed it by so many times not knowing the glory that exists behind those doorsAn absolute hidden gem It's conveniently located right off the 5 freeway and I think this is an Irvine staple...I'm pretty picky when it comes to drinks and they blew me away so much that I don't know if I'll ever be done tasting everything on the menu (with most places I just cycle between one or two go to drinks) There's such a wonderful variety and not just something for everyone.. a lot of options for everyone (non dairy milk, non caffeinated, etc)Amazing quality add insThey use real fruit Everything is perfect and luxuriously rich I do wish that they had a menu with descriptions of each beverage There's a lot of options, but it's hard to figure out what the options are, as they aren't all on the wall I am someone that loves flavors, variety, and can be indecisive so it would help to have descriptions The cups, drinks, and add ins are such premium quality and there's space to sit and get work done or catch up with friends as wellIf you're standing in an incredibly long line at orobae or omomo... just get over hereFinally, there is very little traffic here as compared to other shops closeby (Ie. Omomo) so it's easy to find parking and get around Perfect for a quick grab and go

Great drink choices, welcoming space good for studying. We came here because of the drink special running they 2/13, would come back again afterwards because their choices offer a good blend of tea, fruit, and milk tea options

Omomo line was cuuuhhhraaazy at around 8PM so we stopped at the next closest shop on our route and it was overall okay.Plaza is nearly empty at this time as the other businesses are closed. I liked that they have books placed throughout the shop and it's spacious.Drinks, however, were mid. Icy and lacked flavor for the price.Mango Avocado $6.35: for a drink that claims to use a full avocado, it's not as creamy as it's competitor at omomo. Friend got an oreo drink and he also said his was watered down and icy. Maybe the other series of drinks are better...

My wife and I were looking for boba that we can choose the sugar level on and this was the place Yelp took us to. The servers were polite and helpful answering all our questions. I ordered the Brûlée Taro. It looked amazing, like instagram level good and the taste was on the even better. This place is worth a visit.

Yoyo Tea Shoppe is a small boba shop in an unassuming plaza right off the 5 freeway in Irvine. You can use the kiosk to order or at the counter. We ordered the mango cha-cha ($6.99) with 100% sweetness and the brûlée yoyo ($6.99). The mango cha-cha had some mango flavor but I felt the coconut was more prominent and took away from the mango. The coconut was also pretty thick so the two didn't mix together completely. I liked the flavor of the brûlée yoyo but I was not a fan of the boba and could tell it was old.I liked the interior and the menu drawings were nice but the drinks were just okay.

Whatever you do, don't come here. The tea is below subpar, the customer service is even worse. The owners and the staff are both guilty of this behavior and service. The atmosphere is equally lack luster with white walls with no decorations. This is our second time coming to this tea shop and the second time everyone else's drinks were prepared and served before us. The first time this happened it was easy to say they were busy but today was very different. We were the first ones into the tea shop and we were the last ones served. The staff made it a point to talk in a different language the entire time and kept looking towards up when speaking. It's one thing to be discriminated against, it's a whole different thing when those tactics are condoned and reinforced by the ownership. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. I repeat don't come here. I don't recommend it.

This place is trash. I don't usually leave bad reviews and if you don't believe me then check my stats. I ordered a "perfect" matcha with boba. It was far from perfect. It was nasty icy drink and the boba in it was also gross. The icy part has lots of ice chunks. My husband got their feeling peachy that was whatever. Drinks also took awhile. Also, I wanted a milk perfect matcha but they didn't put that the milk one is different from their icy perfect matcha anywhere. She told me I had to specific which it doesn't state. But they didn't want to fix it for me. But either way I won't be back. For two drinks that was mostly ice it was $14. There's just way better options in the area. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

I've come here a couple times trying new drinks and they're all subpar compared to the selection in the surrounding area. I've tried the "Perfect Matcha" and their taro before under previous management and they were just okay. Now it's under new management so I tried was their "Authentic Thai Tea", which didn't taste anywhere near authentic-I'm not sure if it was just full of evaporated milk or what, but there was definitely no condensed milk or any sweetness. I didn't make any modifications to sugar or ice levels either. The Mango iced tea tasted more like water than anything else as well. Btw, the door slams every time you open and close it. Anyone heard of soft closing doors? I was also going to ask about their free red envelopes (currently under promotion) since I didn't see them giving it out to anyone, but I didn't want to bother staying any longer.
