Yoshinoya Tustin

I made a mistake with my online order. The staff, Anna, Edgar, and Denise, were very helpful to make sure the order was corrected. The food that I got was was generous in proportion and made right! I appreciate how clean the the place is and its helpful and friendly staff.It has been a long while since I last visited this location. Back then the food portions was very meager, but it has completely been corrected now.

I don't know how this place messes up so many orders. I've been here multiple times and usually I would brush off the small mistakes. But this time took the cake. I go to the drive thru, they give me the wrong order (2 chicken teriyaki bowls) I let them know and told them what I ordered (beef bowl, chicken bowl & Tokyo fried chicken) the bag they gave me look correct from the top as I saw a beef bowl but as we drove away, I checked the entire bag and it was the wrong order AGAIN!! I had to park and go inside to get my order fixed. I love yoshinoya but this place is a mess.Also the soda is always watered down here.

Just picked up2 large combo meals to go...Came home saw 2 pieces of chickens and small amount of beefJust trashed them.Don't go here!

One of my favorite fast food chain to go to! Yes, I know Yoshinoya. The given 4 stars is really just for the food & affordability. The Gyduon Beef with all veggies (sometimes rice) and extra side of beef broth is my fav here. Service and ambiance is lackluster. Accuracy of the order needs mad work. The CONS I have:(1) They use Styrofoam containers. Beware, juices leak out easily. (2) Drive-thru ordering, whenever I order more than 1 item - the staff almost if not always gets my order wrong. They can't seem to understand one order is no rice but all veggies and other order is as is (rice and veggies). (3) Mobile App does not have an option to select all veggies or option to do 1/2 veggies and 1/2 rice. Just to note: whether or not it is just this location but the one time I decided to try the Teriyaki Grilled Ribeye and the Udon -- it was the worst the decision I have ever made. My brother warned me but I did not heed. Well, you can see my photos - never have I had ribeye and udon be cooked so horribly bad and to the point un-edible. The PROS I have:(1) The Beef Gyudon is the best here(2) Surprisingly, the Sweet & Spicy Edamame is y pretty good here(3) Love using the coupons, such a saving on cost. Fun fact for those who did not know: The chain was established in Japan in 1899. Founded by Mr. Eikichi Matsuda, Yoshinoya is named after his hometown, Yoshino-Cho, Osaka. Yoshinoya does stick to their motto: Fast, Tasty and Affordable. Hence, I will always return!

This location has been operating at the corner of Walnut and Newport Avenue in Tustin for over 40 years. It's a guilty pleasure of mine once in a while. I always get the same thing - a large beef and veggie bowl. It's consistently good, but it's not as generously portioned as it was awhile back. Don't get me wrong, though, it's still plenty of food. The counter service was friendly and on the ball. I have no complaints. Ambience wise, it has spacious and pleasant dining room. I did not avail myself of it as I always get my orders here to go. If you haven't tried it, give it a chance.

Did you know Yoshinoya has been cooking up delicious Japanese rice bowls, fast and at an affordable price, since 1899? I sure didn't, and I was also surprised by the poor reviews of the Tustin location found at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Walnut Avenue.My go-to is always the Combo Bowl with original Gyudon beef served over rice and with veggies. Customers can pick 2 proteins so I also took the opportunity to try their new Tokyo Fried Chicken and it did not disappoint. If you appreciate some heat, I recommend sprinkling their Shichimi spice powder on top of your meal. I'd also recommend requesting ginger and combining it with your beef. From my experience, the service has always been acceptable at this location despite what other reviewers may say. I've always found Yoshinoya to be a reliable Asian fusion fast food option and that hasn't changed.

The customer service here is unmatched compared to any other Yoshinoya I've ever been to the food quality was amazing and the cleanliness of the store was even more impressive. I would personally like to you, Jozay the manager for going above and beyond and I now refer everyone I know to this restaurant lol

Drive thru service was very unpleasant yesterday around lunch time. The worker was very rude and confusing when I asked questions. The amount of beef to rice is so sad. A few bites of meat lately. You can always see the rice now unlike the picture where they pile the beef is covering the rice. 1 out of the last 10 times I went I had a good portion of beef the rest I feel cheated. The food is so good here but the place is so ghetto for no reason at all. Japanese name but without the Japanese hospitality or honor I'd expect to see.

Went through the drive through. Ordered two XL combos, clam chowder, and a 10pc gyoza. I was only charged for one XL, so they only gave me one but forgot my veggies. The clam chowder cup wasn't full and the gyoza looked pathetic. The Broadway one in Santa Ana is way better these Tustin employees don't care. First and last time going to this one.

I ordered 1 large chicken teriyaki with vegetables no rice and 3 combos beef & chicken teriyaki with vegetables no rice. As soon as I got home, I opened the boxes to find these. If I lived closer I would have returned. I will return tomorrow to get a refund for the 2 combos.
