Yo sushi is one of this small treasures that's a hole in the wall ! And let me tell you it definitely doesn't disappoint ! It's located in a small shopping center so parking may be tricky so be aware of that The service is on point especially considering it was my first time ! I was greeted with a big smile ! The taste was definitely fresh ! The price point is low to mid depending on what you get but expect that what ever you get is going to be tastey overall if your in the area check them out !

Sweet Boyfriend surprised me with an Uber eats delivery since I work from home.Only order from here if you are desperate for food and they are the only ones open... quality is terrible. Our beef terriyaki tasted super salty, texture of cardboard - why is it so hard to chew and thin at the same time? just overall gross. Reminded me of chiclet gum. You know when you've chewed the gum for hours and it turns insanely hard? Their California roll is also too salty? How do they even mess up a CALI ROLL? Their mayo to imitation crab ratio is way off. Sashimi = fish is NOT FRESH. I can tell by the stench and temperature of the fish... so disappointed. It was prepared poorly as the box seemed shaken up? There was black stuff on the tuna.

Best sushi in Santa Ana ! I drive 45 min to eat there even though there's other sushi spots around , literally the cutest mom and pop shop ! My go to is shrimp chow mein , Definitely recommend 10/10 ! Golden tiger roll & baked crawfish roll are . Sweetest business owners you'll ever meet ! Great spot for a date !

Well , a lil late but here we go. First impression "cool cozy sushi place ". Well . Seems they cut their menu and combos, and they do not honor any coupons or anything from yelp. Once we ordered And sat down we notice , Very very dirty place , i was having second thoughts , dont even wanna see what the kitchen looks like?!?!Over all food was subpar edible but below standard, will nit be back , Note, they didn't even wipe down the table i had to do it and when i did the table changed from off white to napkin white , GROSS!!!!

Horrible, cheap quality food! I came here with co-workers for lunch and was so disappointed. I had been here pre-COVID and it was not that bad. Not great but not bad so I didn't want to complain when my friends suggested it. First of all it is expensive!! I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box for $13.00. Any meat upgrade, like salmon or other is an additional $5.00!!! The roll prices are outrageous. Anyhow we dined in and we got our food in styrofoam to go containers. I opened my box and could immediately tell the quality of the chicken was poor. I ate 2 of the 4 pieces of sushi out of fear of getting sick and I didn't touch the 4 pieces of California rolls crammed in a corner of a box filled with stale white rice. I threw most of the food away and left hungry. The owner of the restaurant is very nice but seemed shocked and upset when my friend asked for more tempura sauce. Do not waste your money here. Oh and many of the good review here are fake. Take a good look at the profiles of the good reviews. Or save yourself time and money and trust my review.

Ordered takeout from here on a whim. Got the golden tiger roll, baked salmon roll, and pork cutlet with curry. Can't speak for the ambiance since I didn't dine-in but the food was prepared quickly and on time. Pork cutlet and curry (3/5) - Satisfied my cravings but the pork cutlet was very small.Golden tiger roll (1/5) - Was excited to eat this because I love tempura and crunchy rolls, but this was just awful. Both the inside and outside are fried, so the entire roll was oily. The rice ended up soaking up the oil too so I couldn't even salvage the roll by picking off the fried part.Baked salmon roll (3/5) - Definitely the better roll out of the two I ordered. The salmon tasted good and the flavors of the roll were well balanced. However, there was a slight taste of gas from the torching.

I had business in the neighborhood and boy I was surprised. I originally pulled into this center for a subway sandwich. Since I have been forced to stay away from carbs I decided to try the out of the way sushi restaurant. A subway sandwich was not calling me. I ordered and when I picked up my food I had the opportunity to meet Johhny, the owner. The food was of the same quality that I have had at many much more expensive restaurants. Very good. The opportunity to meet the chef / owner was a real plus. There was much pride in the food being served. The taste showed it.I highly recomend this restaurant!!!!

I came here to leave a review because their terrible service forced me to, but I'm glad I'm not the only one.We gave this place a chance on postmates for their bogo deals, but it was no deal. A free miso soup that should've been free bumped our $28 order to $40.We were being overcharged, so I called to assess the issue immediately, and Heidi, who was extremely rude to my girlfriend, would only repeat our balance was due to the miso soup as a matter of fact yet went quiet when we asked for help. (We double-checked our balance and confirmed it does not change whether or not we add the miso soup). This was a Yo! Sushi problem, not a Postmates problem for once.We agreed we were fine without the soup since we ordered plenty of food. Heidi, though, refused to cancel the miso soup and go over our order but was proud to keep yelling back her name at us when we asked. Heidi shouldn't be picking up calls and handling customer concerns.I should've known after seeing so many fake reviews here on Yelp that we truly are never going back. Reminds me of Kabuki during my teenage years: not real sushi.tl;dr - Our online order balance went from $28 to $40 over 1 miso soup that should've been free with the order; we were overcharged by extremely rude employees for mid level sushi.And by the way, we NEVER got the soup that ruined our order.
