surprisingly so good here. wasnt expecting much but the volcano roll melted in my mouth like no other baked roll. its so delicious! its buy 2 get 1 roll free and 8% off if you bring cash to pay. applies to take out too until 7pm. philadelphia roll 9/10volcano roll 10/10service 10/10 easily the best sushi place in los alamitos.

Tried many Japanese restaurants in the area and this one is my favorite. Recommended there bento box with bulgogi beef is delicious and tempura is delicious. Service was excellent and ambience is cozy.

I have passed this place many times and decided to finally try it. I did order to go and ordered the classic combo which came with 3x spicy tuna rolls, 3x California rolls and 3x shrimp tempura rolls. I was also given a miso soup and it came with a salad. Everything tasted great. I can't wait to go back and try more things off their menu. They do have a lunch special as well and the staff was friendly and inviting. My husband and I love this place. We usually end up here on Friday nights. The happy hour is amazingly priced and the rolls are ALL amazing! We have not had anything we didn't love. The music is also always amazing and the staff are so friendly and hospitable. This is by far our favorite sushi spot and can't wait till next time!

Service was great but then again we were there when no one else was. Plenty parking in strip mall. Would come back again! We enjoyed most of the sushi we ordered as they all seemed fresh and enjoyed some unique combos. Only thing it was a little pricey, but we would rather have quality sushi once in a while. Would have appreciated less TVs as there were 3 and I like going to places where my little one would focus more on his meal.Yellowtail sashimi -was melt in your mouth succulent. Albacore carpachio- had jalapeno and another spicy seasoning on it. Pretty tasty if you're ok w spicy. Classic combo- good, nothing special. Ordered it for a kid. Mango salmon- loved the ratio of salmon to mango and appreciated that the mango was ripe. Stock your fridge with Coke Zero. My guest that was there with me hated your selection of diet coke. Food was good yet I've had better for less. Maybe because I'm from Lancaster I'm not understanding the price jump yet it's understandable. The ginger dressing calamari and rools were good yet its not JIRO quality.

I just received my order via Postmates and for $70 for 2 rolls, tempura, and a combo dinner plate, I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!! I am astonished how small rolls are, especially the specialty roll that was $17. My daughter and I were still hungry after our rolls, which typically an entire roll is very filling for us. Our typical go to place was already closed tonight so we tried this place for a second time, unfortunately, we will not be ordering from here again.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.
