There are plenty of parking spaces. Once seated, you scan the QR code to view the menu. I ordered the Original Crossing the-bridge Rice Noodle. This is a unique way of eating the food and they do provide instructions, but it's not as complicated as it looks. You'll receive a tray of mini dishes that consist of meat, egg, veggies, etc. They also provide a separate bowl of just broth and a separate bowl of rice noodles. You put the egg in first then meat, veggies, and rice noodle. The broth, meat, noodles, and veggies were all really good. The broth was super tasty and perfect for the cold weather. Recommendation(s):- Original Crossing the-bridge Rice NoodleService: 5/5Tip(s):- Restrooms available- Plenty of parking spaces- Order and pay via the mobile phone

Interesting concept. Noodle soup has the meat/veggies/side comes in small plates. It reminds me of beef stew and Vietnamese bun Bo hue. Not sure if I would go back but I do love the concept.Coconut bomb was not to my liking. It's definitely coconut but it's not a drink I would order again. Service is typical of an oriental restaurant - the waiter will come when you call for them.

I came to Xishang Roodle for their crossng the bridge noodles. Located in the same plaza as Target a few blocks from South Coast Plaza, they are the only place in Orange County that I am aware of that serves this novelty dish. Back in the Yunnan Province of China, a scholar was studying for an imperial exam to become an official. His wife would have to cross the bridge to bring him his meals. She found that the noodles would get soggy by the time she got it to him, so she decided to separate all of the ingredients and not mix them until she arrived. What a nice wife! When I arrived at Xishang, I was welcomed to sit at any seat that's empty. They have QR codes at the table for you to scan and order from. I ordered a Tomato Broth Roodle ($19.99) and an Iced Lemon Tea ($5.99). The noodle came with rice noodles and 9 different small ingredients to throw into the hot broth. I asked the staff for their recommendations, and I was told to throw in the quail eggs first, then the meat items, then the veggies, and lastly the noodles for the optimal cook times. I enjoy the interactive meal. Staff was also nice to bring me extra napkins even before I had to ask for it, and remove dishes when I was done with it. The tomato broth was not the best I've had, so it effected the taste of everything. If I were to come back I would get a different broth base. The ingredients were really quality delicious items, and fun to eat. I would consider coming back the next time it's soup weather.

Inside is clean and fine. Service is efficient and quick. Got the original which was yummy but a tad oily? Interesting concept to serve all the components on the side similar to hot pot? Cute and relatively yummy but I'm not amazed. Tbh I miss the restaurant that this place replaced.

This place is super unique with how they serve their noodles. They present it in a set with all of the toppings separated. It's such a cool and cute way to eat it and mix it all together. The flavors of the appetizer, noodles, and drinks were all really tasty. The workers were super nice and attentive too. I love the interior decor. Parking won't be a problem because it's located in a large shopping plaza.

I really enjoyed the food here. I ordered mild spicy for most of our side dishes but they were still too spicy for my kids. I wish the "mild" was less spicy so that my kids could enjoy this more. Perfect spice level for me though. The Yunnan noodle was served traditional style, with 9 little dishes of toppings and a bowl of soup and separate bowl of noodle. We enjoy assembling it all into the soup. Our friend got the Wagu beef Yunnan noodle soup and the beef looked very marbled and fresh. One thing I noticed was the soup tasted to be maybe chicken based? I expected it to have a stronger pork bone broth taste. Flavors were good. Portion size was decent. Pricing was reasonable. Overall a pretty good experience!

Been wanting to find " cross over the bridge noodle " and this is the spot! You put the ingredients into the noodle yourself. Our favorite are the devil chicken and wagyu beef roodle. The noodle texture is good! You order through a QR code so it's easy. Nice atmosphere.

This place is quite small, probably about 10-12 parties max so if you go on the weekend, i would come earlier to avoid dinner rush. This place feels very special with all the different toppings and presentation but taste wise is pretty decent. Nothing too special though.

I was looking for a place to eat for lunch with my friends, and found this place hidden in a shopping plaza off of Bristol Street, between MacArthur Boulevard and Alton Avenue. It is closer to Target. We arrived close to noon on a Monday in November, and it was still fairly empty. This restaurant serves crossing-the-bridge noodles, which I guess is famous in the Yunnan Province of China. It's basically a hot bowl of broth that comes with rice noodles and different sides that you cook yourself in the broth. They also serve small pot rice noodles, magic sauce & tofu rice noodles, dai-style devil chicken, which are also foods from the Yunnan Province. My friend and I ordered the A3 - wagyu beef crossing-the-bridge rice noodle ($24.99). My other 2 friends ordered the A2 - fiery tomato soup base crossing-the-bridge rice noodle ($19.99). One of the sides was a dish of cilantro, but I was able to ask for none and our server kindly replaced it with something else. FYI, the sides were different from the picture on the menu so not sure what was replaced with the cilantro. Our wagyu soup didn't come with quail eggs either (as pictured in menu), but the tomato soup did.The broth had a nice, light flavor, but I wish it was more stronger. The rice noodles and sides weren't flavored/seasoned either so it was a bit bland for me (except for one of the sides, which was crispy fried pork?). I tried my friend's tomato soup and liked it way better.TBH, I'm not really a hot pot person to begin with. I don't really like the smell that they give off inside a restaurant. I always thought it was because of something gamey, but google told me it was the combination of oil, fat, and spices that volatize when heated to create that noticeable aroma. Nothing wrong with that, as my other family and friends don't mind it, it's just my personal preference.
