XhOtpOt — The Boiling House

My expectations were blown out of the water with this place. We wanted to try a new hotpot place and came across this up and coming location and wanted to give it a stab. It might be hard to find but it's located in the raising claw at the corner of the plaza!We got the premium set which came with SO much meat. The quality of all the meats were very good and diverse. Our server Hayden was also very knowledgeable on all the cuts and attentive to our needs. He was switching out plates for us and bringing in new foods in the set menu as we ate. The restaurant set up is nice too, you don't have to worry about crammed tables as they have carts to put your extra plates on so you have plenty of room to eat. Overall the experience was fun and the food was really good, the price point is high but definitely worth it since you get a lot of meats and seafood as well. Personally I'd place this location better than mokkoji or Shabuya :).

Quality HOT POT over here!Place is a little hard to spot but be sure to lookout for the flagship name "Raising Claw".My bro and I opted out on the 55$ premium AYCE menu.The establishment really focuses on quality and representation.The first round order took about ten minutes to come out after the soup broth was brought out.Second round order was very consistent as the quality of marbled meats came out as identical as the first batch.The tri tip and Australia rib eye was very savory.All beef options were all excellent.Chuck roll is a little too chewy for my liking as opted out on second and third order.Green tea ice cream matcha is a good meal ender.Restrooms - CleanWould definitely come back!

This restaurant is combined with RAISING CLAW. So don't be confused like I was when searching for the restaurant. There is a banner in front that says XHotpot, but it's hard to see because it's black. I've been here twice and the hotpot is delicious. It's AYCE and you pick a package set you'd like and get to order any of the meats and dishes in that set. Prices are reasonable ranging from: $85 Basic Set,$95 Premium Set, and $170 Golden Set, which serves 2-4 people. If you divide that per person, it's about $28-85/pp depending on your set. Service is amazing. They're really nice and attentive. Presentation of food is beautiful. You get to pick from 6 different broths. You get three sauces and they're yummy. The meat quality is good and the amount of food you eat is A LOT! The value is so good for quality and quality, and everything tastes delicious! I recommend you check it out. Great for families and large groups as well.

Review Golden set - most expensive one :Food: Only 2 pieces of dumpling even the menu said the set for 2-4 people. All soups are disappointed. The Tom yum has no Tomyum taste, it was super sour. We told the server and they only put more sugar in there. The house broth actually is pumpkin broth. The Tonkotsu was most okay but still lack of the thick quality taste. Wagyu meat was okay but the cut is very big . Server said because it's wagyu , they have to cut that big The seafood was fresh. The duck blood and tofu texture like jello and tastes not good with stink smell on the blood.Beautiful new restaurant, 1 server but fast since not many clients. With a Hot pot restaurant, most important is the broth but somehow this place totally forget about this.

This place is kind of new but I am so impressed of the great quality and customer service. Price is super reasonable, quality of great, portion is huge. These are multiple meat cut options, which all are tender /(shabu shabu grades). The broths are mouthwatering, I really love the taste which I had to to-go the leftover. Highly recommended and will bring my friends and family here to try.

Parking: 7/10. Restaurant is located in Raising Claw. I'm not sure if it's 2 restaurants working together or they're the same. Parking is quite tight in some areas of the plaza. Food: 8/10. We got the lowest combo tier that feeds 2-3 people. Portion is good for 2 very hungry people or 3 moderately hungry people. Tomato broth tasted healthy, Tom yum broth was flavorful. Quality of meat was standard. While the portion was very filling for the 2 of us, we did not see anything that stood out from other hot pot restaurants aside from some of their dish presentations. Orange shaved ice was included for dessert.Ambiance: 9/10. Very spacious seatings, super loud music. Servers were attentive and accommodating.

Amazing. They have flavorful housemade broth made by the owner. The nice server who serve us told us that the owner made their broth included sauce. It was tasty and doesn't feel too greasy like many place. Clean and thoughtful. On all table has utensil and 75% alcohol wipe. Service is amazing. Our server keep checking on us and doesn't made us feel that we have to rush eventho they are closing in a few mins. He was kind and polite. I feel bad that the highest option for tip is only 20%. So I left more in cash cuz he truly deserve it. Parking is easy. ** This is not all you can eat place. It's a set menu but plenty of food. Recommended!!!

We went here with a couple of friends to celebrate and the meal set was pretty good. We got the Wagyu set which was ~$180 and was able to feed 4 people with it. The presentation was good and the broth and meat quality were amazing as well. The place was a little short staffed on a Monday night , there was 1 other table there at the time and the server seemed to be stretched already. However I would be concerned if they had anything more than 1-2 customers at a time with how long the wait time would be. With that being said, the server we had was great and checked in pretty often to help clear the table as we were finishing off the plates of meat.

Premium wagyu ayce option was quality meat. definitely better meal than the last shabu place I went to. The presentation is hard to beat and everything was freshly sliced. Lamb, beef, and pork for the win.

Gud food, the meat slice is quality and thick. Tomyum soup base is more sweet than sour a lil bit that tbh not that bad. Server was friendly and attentive. They should do more decorations tho. Will come back!
